Very basic and simple to use. I love that you get notification when you receive emails. I dislike how long it takes for the emails to be received or sent to from inmates. Usually I will get the email about 5 hours later.. the app is also great for bypassing the horribly annoying verification screen, but that can be avoided with the premier membership that's .50 a month ($6 for a year) it's definitely worth it.

Takes so long to receive my messages. I am talking anywhere from 2-3 hours in between! Then I will get multiple messages at once. Plus I get no notifications at all once I do get messages. Have to continue to check the app. After paying for the premium. Only reason I am giving 2 stars is simply due to the fact I get to message at all. This app really needs some attention.

For the past week, I had issues with the app, saying "Unable to sync with server at this time." I've been having to use the website, which honestly is a pain. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, to no avail. Finally, I clicked on the OK button when it gave the unable to sync with server error, then I clicked on the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen. I clicked login, put in my email and password, and now it works. NO MORE ERROR MESSAGE! :) Yay

For what it's used for its not bad at all. There's a delay in receiving messages but that's actually to be expected. My issue is paid for the year which allows app use, and that is priced awesome. But I wanted notification when a message arrived. When I started using the app it was fine but now I have to actually open it and sync messages, which can make a delayed message have a later response. Hopefully this gets fixed!

I have used this app since 2015 and it was great until February 2019. At that time, the notification that a message arrived stopped working. CorrLinks issued a fix that restored it but their latest update took it away again. I have to randomly open the app to check for incoming messages since the notifications don't work. I brought this to their attention a few months ago but once their beta version was released, the problem returned.

This app is helpful in communication when the feds only give up 200 talk mins a month. I've been using this app for over 8yrs now & the problems I've found are, if your screen times out or your phone dies before you get to save a message or send it, it's gone! The notification for new messages seldom pops up so you have to keep checking & syncing the app. For the most part, this app is a godsend for those seeking to stay in constant contact with an incarcerated loved one.

It's a wonderful app, but unfortunately something about the system delays messages (from both parties). Messages sent sometimes won't even arrive till the very next day. I had three messages come in all at once from a two day span. It's a well built app, and I love it, but it's incredibly unreliable. Note: I'm a premium user.

I have the premiere account which does not expire until may of 2022. I have not been able to sync for 2 weeks. I see this is an issue reading other reviews. I have also uninstalled the app and still the same issue. Very annoying to have to go to the website when I have purchased the premier account months ago and was working fine up until a few weeks ago. Been trying every day still isn't working. Once it's resolved I will change my review. I sent an email to cs waiting on response.

I've only been using this app for two weeks, before that I used the mobile webpage, and it seems a lot of people writing reviews don't understand that this is a very limited system because of the prison system. It's not text messaging, the emails have to be approved by someone at the prison before they are sent so it may take a day to get an email. This app is only for emails. It's still much better than the website though, better user interface and notifications make it worth the $6/yr!

The app is junk. There's a horrible delay, if it syncs at all. It will send to your outgoing messages multiple times and charge you every time even if you don't authorize it essentially stealing your money. They will not refund your money even though their app is the one stealing your money. If you're forced to use this system, stick to the website.

Mediocre as of late. Been using for almost a year and in the last 3 days its stopped providing notifications and I have to login and sync in order for messages to pop up. Since they are charging us we shouldn't have to go through that hassle. Fix the notifications please. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and no change.

this is really easy to use dont cost too much. they need to add the feature where we can send pics or cards etc and it takes awhile from the time I send email until they actually get it and the other way around as well. all in all the app is good. and it's cheaper on this end than a phone call.

I have a premier account and currently have 2 inmates on my contact list. I received a request from another inmate (third contact) but I cant find a place to accept him and add to my contact list. I have sent 2 requests for assistance but still no answer. Also, I frequently get messages saying "unable to sync with server at this time". Really disappointed.

Haven't received sound notifications in over a year, i never know when I receive a message to respond too. I only find out when I check in manually which cause of busy life is hard to do and so when I do if there is no message I might not check again for another 2 weeks just to find out i have several old messages from 10 days before. This service sux without notifications and i have a note 8, its not an issue with the phone or settings. Notifications were working before about 16 months ago.

Overall the messages get through okay but even with a premier account I still have to verify myself every time I log in on my computer and my pictures have never gotten through. Luckily a premier account isn't expensive but it would be nice if it actually worked like it is supposed to. I do appreciate having another way to contact my son so that is a plus.

App is horrible how it cost money for our loved ones to read and to send emails when we pay already for a hole year. Also this app has so many flaws that they blame the facility when it's not the facility issues. My Lo sometimes doesn't get all my messages and sometimes I don't get theirs sometimes are only certain ones that comes through. This apps needs a lot of attention wish there was a better one to use but unfortunately not.

Not really liking the app. these last few days. It keeps saying that it is syncing and then says it isn't able to sync. Needs to be fixed, since with COVID, this is now a main way of communication with loved ones. Even closing the app and restarting it doesn't help.

It took me a little while to figure out that 1st you must go to website, i sent messages from there for quite awhile, then got the Premium and could use the app on android, the only thing I don't like is, paying for Premium you still have to go to website to add $ to your account, and add or delete offenders. But other then that, ive had no problems and I've been using it for 3 years.

I have issues trying to start it. So I took the free 2 weeks it worked. Now it's about to expire in 2 days . It's telling me to go to Premier Account. But it's only showing regular Corrlinks also telling me to manage my inmate list it shows no account to put a X in the email alert box . This is frustrating me.

I really like the app but I don't like how long it takes for the inmates to receive them. Also another downfall of the app is how it's set up. I would prefer a different set up like how JPay is set up. Other then that the app is great. One other thing is you can't send pics through corrlinks either.

easy to use. does take a while to get messages. but overall i am thankful to be able to stay in touch with my loved one for a 0.05 rate. cant beat that! and it allows a lot of characters in the text so you can get a lot for that 5 cents! no problems... i hear there is suppose to be a picture sending options soon too. that will be awesome!!

Very disappointed as I'm paying for the Premiere Membership but I cannot send photos & the text messaging service has a serious LAG by like 2 hours & when a relative is having a medical procedure that is nervewracking & with no auto sync setting you must keep syncing to check messages. My son's facility just switched from getting out and I have to say so far it definately wasn't for the better :( PLEASE upgrade and fix these issues?

The app is trash. You can save a draft and you'll be lucky if it saves. If the app is working at all. Your emails you may or may not get, you will never know. The app definitely needs to be updated and given a new look. Heck clearly a new server but they dont care about our loved ones so it becomes screw us too unfortunately. This company for sure can and needs to do better!!!

I love this app. The only recommendation would be to make the notification number disappear once the email has been viewed. I have 6 email, I have read them all but the number is still showing on the outside of the app like I have 6 emails waiting. Other then that, kudos!

I like having it so I can keep in touch but it lacks some settings I'd really like to have or use. First it logs out too soon if using the browser site and end up having to take time or write something long then we lose everything typed. That was frustrating as ever. Another thing is length of how long emails sent or received are kept 30/60 days? Really would love to have the ones from beginning when I started. KEEP SAKE SENTIMENTALS.

Works well enough to message my best friend on the inside. No bells and whistles. Easier to just type an email out on another app like Google Keep and then copy and paste it for spell check usage.

Could be a bit more user friendly. As in more details in direction . Can't use mobile app for pics and if you are writing a letter which results in interruptions it states it's syncing I assume to drafts as u progress. ... Ya u might want to select all and copy b4 u hit send.otherwise letter will be gone

Why is it so difficult to add $ to my account? U would think they would make it a little easier to add $ since that's the whole point right is to get our money. I get no notifications that I have new messages. This app is garbage.
