App is not as intuitive/user friendly as it should be. Broken links that lead to error pages or shopping page won't load. When shopping for hair color products, there is usually no preview of which colors are available so you have to click the product to find out what colors are in stock. This wouldn't be as much of an issue if pages loaded quickly but it tends to be slow. Annoying to use. The checkout button isn't even working right now 😒
app is good for the most part. crashes every now and then. sometimes for hours. makes it hard when your busy trying to check people out. also it local Cosmo Prof store isn't that great, so I've tried to order from the app online to make things easier and you can't check out. thought maybe it was just my phone... nope you really can't check out your cart. I've been searching for other businesses that sell Paul Mitchell. I'm getting very annoyed with them. please fix this bug!
So frustrating! This app needs major upgrade. They've added so much 'stuff' but NONE of it works well. You can add items to cart, but can not open cart. There is no response when hitting cart icon, and no other way to get to cart. Search is a joke, doesn't always show items titled the same as your search word. Sorting by brand doesn't work either, missing items under brand names, but then pop up when you do long search. Do you want to sell me things or not??
I didn't think this ordering app could get worse, but once again CosmoProf has proven me wrong. It doesn't actually save your login when you tell it to, lists previously made cannot be found, quick order doesn't work, you can't remove things from the cart, bar code scan is inoperable, I could go on. I found that searching for items proved to be more efficient, albeit minuscule. Beta testing should have caught these atrocities if applied properly to this app.
This app is awful. Had to be issued a new card a few months ago. There is no option in the app to change my card. I just now updated the app and now it tells me that it doesn't recognize my email and password and won't let me in. So glad that I never used it to schedule clients and store important info. The update was supposed to fix bugs. It just made things worse.
The app looks and works like it was thrown together. Trying to find a product or find information on a product is difficult, usually resulting in me having to go into the store or having to google everything seperately and find the vendors website. Its a surprise to me with how long the app has been available that there aren't any new updates for it being user friendly and easy to search for things. I guess it's a good merketing technique to get me into the store. Please make some changes.
Very slow between different app areas. Checkout link is not touch sensitive enough. It lags a lot. I would love to order through the app, but it needs to be way faster navigation. Looking forward to seeing updates. Otherwise, the items are listed nicely and informative. 7 o/o 10 easy to search. Rather disappointing for a professional business.
It's slow, inaccurate, and if want same-day delivery, it will cancel your entire order if just one item is out of stock and won't notify you for a few hours. They will also put a hold on those funds for the full amount for one week. This has happened twice even after I double checked the app to make sure everything I ordered is in stock.
The ONLY reason I have this app in my phone is to hold my membership card. I don't want the ads. And you are crazy if you think I am going to use your appointment end to book clients. That is private information, both theirs and mine. Its none of your business who I am coloring or how much business I am doing. Think about adding a product inventory list so that shopping for your products can be made easier instead.
I have been trying unsuccessfully to create an app account for weeks. My local store tells me they hear this all the time. All I ever get is a message stating that it cannot connect to the service. This could certainly make running my business much easier but when you don't have accessibility it only creates more frustration. I am giving the app one star only because it doesn't allow for 0. An app that can't be used is of no use to anyone. I'm glad some people have had success. Based on the reviews when it works it works well. Unfortunately that is not the case for me.
Excellent features, easy to navigate, and visually pleasing. I use the app to maintain client data, schedule appointments, process payments, and the digital card when I shop at the store. I also enjoy the periodic notification of sales & special discounts. I miss the Loxa scripts, but I suppose it was underutilized...
I made an order through the app. It wasnt next day delivery like it said, when I finally got my order there were some things missing. My credit card was still charged the full price I ordered. When I checked my order slip it said it discounted the items that weren't shipped, but I was still CHARGED tax on those items. It says on the slip to re-order. So now I have to pay taxes again and an additional shipping charge for the items I already paid for.
Hard to navigate App. Can't look products by brands or names all the time (***or at all even!) Back button sends you to beginning of search. (***essentially starts you over from the beginning of your order) Instore versus online HUGE difference in availability and/or stock, and sale/clearance items. . . Cart Button almost never works. Slow shipments (***sent in multiples) Inaccurate orders
This app is super basic, glitchy, and irritating. Take a look at the Salon Centric app and step up your game CosmoProf!! I keep touching the sections in the side menu and nothing happens. I can't even get into my shopping cart. Each page loads with a blank pause and lag. No stars!!
This is an awful slow app. You cant even click on some of the buttons, for me it was the cart checkout button, every time i click on it, nothing. Super slow, makes no sense type of app. What a waste of app space. Better to gp online and do the shopping. For a professional this isn't convenient.
Not always cooperative. When it works properly I have no issues with processing orders or receiving shipments. I just wish the icons worked better and that it wasn't so slow. Often there is an error when you return to previous screens
I ordered products from the app. Received part of my order and on the invoice was told to reorder the nail kit. They have taken the money out of my bank and put it back in over and over. With the last time taking money out twice! I've been trying to call them for days and I'm put on hold for over an hour. Someone needs to contact me because this is not how business is done! I wont be ordering again until they stop playing with my account and make this fiasco right!
I loved the app until today. They no longer support android tablets, which is what I do everything work-related on. So as of apparently 10 minutes ago, I can't access my schedule or check out clients. It would have been nice to have some notice, so I could plan my day accordingly. However, this hasn't stopped the app from sending notifications to my tablet about voting for their awards. Sorry, but that's my LAST concern when I'm scrambling to figure out who is supposed to be walking in next.
It will work for a little bit but then suddenly kicks you out. Wont allow you to log back in. Wont recognize your email address to send a new password. Ive had to call the help number. They let me in but it just keeps kicking me out. Ive ordered from this store for several years now and bought from cosmoprof intown shop which hardly carries anything and is not well stocked so i rely on this app. This bug or whatever in the app needs to be fixed or people will shop elsewhere. Get it together.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD! This app simply does not work at all! Very disappointing. The app does not show any products of any kind. When I typed in the search bar it displayed "here are your results" but it was a blank white screen.
Being a hair stylist sometimes is hard to get to the store so with Cosmoprof they have the monthly guide on the app so that we can see what's on sale what's new and we can call I order in or order over the internet and I order will be sent out to us if we can't leave the salon so I think the app is great for us because this industry is busy and we will continue to stay busy and we will continue to stay relevant because everybody wants to be beautiful!!!!!! More than half the time I try to order, it just sits as pending. The last time I put stuff in my cart it was over a month before the app would let me into my cart to finish the order so I quickly placed it before it locked me out again only for it to once again sit as pending. I have only successfully made 2 orders in the last 8 months.
My favorite thing is not being able to view my purchase history especially when I need to catch up on expense reports. I hate this app. Soo many bugs, freezes, lags, don't trust it to purchase items.
To start, the app is slow and touchy, or maybe not touchy enough. After about an hour of shopping I can't even get into my cart to see or purchase my items. I don't feel like it represents the full inventory of the stores. I want to support cosmoprof, but the app is just awful.
I loved this app for booking my clients and it would even send them an automated reminder of their appointments! Since the update, it NEVER WORKS and I have been using it for 2 years without issues!!! Am downloading square appointment app now because I cant trust this!!!
i don't and won't use square, so i can't finish setting up app. the adds are annoying and can't be turned off unless you turn off all notifications for the app. i like the app other than the above stated.
This is one of the worst apps . Its non responsive , and doesn't even identify the brands they sell . For example you cannot search or find any Schwarzkopf products . More specifically the Blondme Products . The performance of this app is absolutely terrible
Something has happened with this app. It was already a bit clunky but it is now infuriating to use. I must log in, AGAIN, after opening the app in order to be allowed to put items into my bag. My page goes to a partial visual when trying to pick inventory- I don't get it, what happened?
When it works it's great. Problem is that it crashes more than it works lately. Unusable when you can't get in it to schedule your clients! Very frustrating.
I love this concept! The layout is easy and friendly to use. However, a few things that would be some wonderful features are giving us a select all option for quick editing through clients and services. Having to go into each one individually can be time consuming when editing things. Also, I'd really like to be able to get this on my chromebook and be able to sync it between my two devices. Overall it's such a great and friendly user app for the stylist on the go but could use a few updates yet. Thank you Cosmo Prof!!
