Costa Vida

This is not a great app. It has you login to the app, but them when you select order, it says you need to login again. Also, I did not see a way to apply rewards within the app. UX design is not very good either. Overall, the app is pretty unintuitive. It is not applying points to my account automatically like it indicates it will, and barcodes are not showing in Gmail. Overall, just a terrible user experience.

I can order online which is great.But the experience isn't as as good as it should be. It's a little below average. When you load the Order tab it takes a moment to actually recommend the nearby, recent, or favorite store. Then while the menu has been made much easier to navigate, it feels about average now. However when I'm selecting items in an order and decide to go back, when I swipe to go back on Android, it exits out of the order completely and I have to re-add the 4 things again—not good.

I would love to be able to order online, however this feature and the menu I've never been able to use because it gets stuck on "loading." I left it open for 10 minutes one day just to see if I was impatient, never loaded. It's too bad, the online ordering feature was the only reason I downloaded the app. I don't like to drag my kids in everywhere so I opt for restaurants that I can actually use online ordering. I really like the food, fix your app and I'll be a more regular patron!

There are many flaws with this app. I'm trying to do completely online ordering, but ordering through the app/online is so limited! I can't select the same options I can ask for in store, and there's no box for notes. I have to go in and ask for the changes/additions (like kids' ninos) after my order is already made! In addition, points should be automatically added to my account instead of relying on me to scan in the receipts. I can't pay with a gift card. It's so frustrating!

If you never want to redeem rewards or coupons, or have the ability to gain points just by ordering, then this app is for you! As far as being able to do pick-up orders, the app is great. However, if I don't get points for ordering and forget to ask for the receipt with the barcode, then I get no points. It forces you to redeem deals and coupons in store. What was the point of the app again?

messages never open. it's always blank just showing the date and "dismiss". I also wish you could scan when you purchase the food rather than having to print the receipt and scanning the barcode. Also, if you have to do two separate transactions you can't scan both because they fall under the same day which is also a joke. I cover a lot of meals at work and can only claim one of the meals, why? if the points are being claimed why can't I scan both?!

My 20% coupon expired while trying to apply it online. I accidentally selected it, and it did a 6 hour countdown. Come on really why even offer it then? Which wouldn't have been a problem it it wasn't 20 mins from closing. Atleast McDonalds will just reload it 15 minutes later. This app definitely has a lot of bugs to get worked out.

Well this app worked great until very recently, after restoring the app following a factory reset. Now every time the app starts up, I get the message "Device Verification Failed: Your device basic intregity check failed, Signs of system integrity compromise, such as rooting." Then the app just exits as soon as the button is clicked. Yes my phone is rooted, but this is the ONLY app I have which completely refuses to run because of it.

OK app, compared to others. Works fine in some specific ways but just isn't user friendly. You have to scan the receipts (in 2 days or less for whatever reason) even if you use the same credit card all the time. They ask for surveys but you have to enter a bunch of receipt information manually, then write down a code to remember the next time, so not worth it. I often think that I'll like the app but end up regretting it. Sometimes it is enough to go somewhere else to eat.

Costa Vida used to reward App users with recurring offers like buy one get one free or half off. Now the offers are very few and far between, usually a "refer a friend and get a free small blah, blah, blah". There is no longer an incentive to use the app.

It used to be a pretty good app, but for several months now, all I get is a splash screen. There is no way to redeem earned points, and no way to obtain points for new purchases. It's a pretty useless app now.

HORRIBLE ONLINE EXPERIENCE! First, it constantly moved me to another store that is NOT nearby (usually in Utah, instead of Idaho). Second, I tried THREE times to do an order and when I left the cart to add another item, the cart emptied out. Third, the rewards implementation is ridiculous! I tried once to apply a reward that I was told to apply(to an empty cart while trying to make the initial order), and I was given a message that there was nothing in the cart -then it deleted my reward!!!

please fix your app. the selections are counter intuitive.it's pathetic that you have to log into a separate account to place an order at a restaurant. why would you have a selection for no rice instead of a selection for rice. I have used many of the restaurant apps and they function way better and are way more user friendly

This app needs some serious work. Half the time it will not save card information. If you decide to add something else to your order while viewing your cart, your *entire order* will disappear and you will have to start all over again. And several times now it hasn't counted rewards points. It is better just to order at the restaurant.

Since about Christmas, the specials that come out as push notifications are not loading into my rewards, so there's no way for me to redeem them. The app is broken. I've contacted Costa Vida several times and they continue to tell me to open my rewards and redeem them, which doesn't work because the rewards aren't there. As a last resort, deleting and re- downloading the app.

Latest update doesn't allow you to log into your Costa account (unless you log in through Facebook). Remember how I have all those points I've been saving? Well I can't even access them in app anymore (but I can through the website). How are people supposed to use this app that don't have Facebook (or don't want to link their FB).

I have lost many points because this app DOES NOT WORK. I have called to resolve the issue several times but the solution has been to add the points manually...I don't have time to call every time I eat there. Please FIX YOUR APP so I can just scan my receipt. Thanks. Love the food....hate the app.

The app never works. I get a notification and go to the inbox and it says it is empty. I try to scan my receipts and when I click to scan, nothing happens. Super frustrating because I've lost out on a lot of points because I can't scan my receipts.

This might be the worst restaurant app I have ever used. When i'm placing an order and try to go back to a previous screen it takes me back to the store selection page and doesn't save the items in my cart. Horrible experience.

It is great that i get so many points and then get to redeem them for money off food. Every 50 bucks you soend you get 4 dollars, which is great bcuz we go all the time. I would have given it 5 stars but there is no code to input anymore, you have to scan it and the scanner has failed on me multiple times

Great app until you want to put your account on a new phone. I know the password but it doesn't work. I tried to reset my password and it says it sent an email to reset password and nothing comes through to my email. I even checked then double checked to make sure my email was right.

Pretty garbage as far as ordering for pickup goes, pretty much only good for scanning receipts for points. The app will wipe your cart multiple times, so if you plan on using it for that, don't ever use the back button.
