COTA Connector

There's no option for weekly or monthly pass purchases. You literally have to load money on to use to pay standard fair. I doesn't even let you just have whatever the fair amount is billed to the card on file. Add the option to buy monthly passes and I'll leave a 5 star review but currently this app is almost completely worthless.

The app itself is a good idea, and works well. However it is COTA so be prepared to be kicked off half of the busses you try to use this on because the readers on the bus barely work. You could even show the drivers that you just purchased a ticket on the app. You'll get kicked off the bus.

Not worth it. Why, as an app for bus transit, can you not access the map without having to give a payment and add money? Why can't I just create an account to get a bus route? I want to pay as I go, but I can't even do that without adding funds to my account???!!! Everyone, there is a reason why this app only has 2 stars. Believe the negative reviews. App developers..get better ones or get busy fixing this waste.

Can't even log in with my account. Says credentials don't exist. And if I try and create a new account, it say creating an account requires contacting a cpass account manager. What's the point of having that option, then? The UI is garbage, too. Needs a lot of work, but at least let users log in with their valid creds...

Was ready to give at least 4 stars until the last few days. The plastic covers over the scanners on the farebox have been scratched so badly that it can't read the qr code. Brightness is maxed, but I literally can't pay to ride the bus, and there's no refund once you buy a ticket

Wasn't even able to create an account "until October"? It's mid-September... You'd think that they would at least have a map with all the routes shown but guess the programmers didn't care to put more than four minutes into making what needs to be a helpful app.

worthless app. What's the point of having a COTA app that just directs you to a website instead of showing you bus routes. or hell, even just love tracking where the bus is? in the age of smartphones and GPS COTA is severely lacking in this need.

As others have said, this app is very poorly designed and needlessly difficult to use. No ability to buy monthly passes and they make adding funds to your account and buying 2 hour passes painful. COTA desperately needs to modernize.

Needs monthly pass. Am thinking there would be better login with Google than Yahoo or have it's own password to log in. The $2 one way Trip transfer time expires on the App., sooner as in a few minutes than the transfer time on the printed ticket.

Was hoping to use this to purchase passes and refill my card on the go but it's so clunky I just use the website instead. Also, the Connector service doesn't do daily/weekly/monthly passes which is what I use so it's pretty worthless.

In order to create an account you have to have a "C-Pass". In order to have a "C-Pass", you have to work for an employer who is already signed up for the program and that employer needs to be located in a very specific part of downtown. Per the COTA website, the zone is employers located within the "Capital Crossroads Special Improvement District (SID)", or "Some – but not all – Franklin County and City of Columbus employees also qualify. For more information on eligibility, contact your human resources administrator.". I work very near Broad St and 4th St, yet the address of my employer is just on the other side of this zone, therefore I cannot get a "C-Pass". I use COTA frequently enough that having an app would be useful (if I could use it at all) instead of having to withdraw a couple dollars from my bank account every week.

basically worthless app, not helpful at all. like other reviewers have said, ya can't get past the login & signing up doesn't amount to anything. don't waste your time with this app, the pamphlets on COTA buses are more helpful.

Irreverent for people who really need to use this app, only comes in handy when you only need to take a single uno or just one ride, no options for a single day or week passes. No options for those of us that really need this and use this app every day for transportation.

I just want to see routes and times. Why do I need an account for that? Why do they need access to accounts, storage, and contacts to show me bus information? As useless as the COTA web page is, this is worse.

Wow the negative reviews were not wrong! This app is absolutely worthless. I Uninstalled this piece of garbage about 10 minutes after creating an account and quickly realizing it basically does almost nothing. So disappointing. Get it together COTA!!!

This app is useless to me if i csnt buy a week or month pass. I also have a cota ID card for a reduced fee. This app wont let you reverse transactions either. You have to call for your refund.

I downloaded this app believing I could buy passes get bus times and plan trips and pay fares with my phone. None of that was possible. I couldn't even create an account. Like cota this app is a waste of time and energy.

Typical cota, ten years behind the times. Still cant buy passes in an easy cashless way. We don't have exact change so we will be driving downtown tonight and pay to park.

I downloaded this and cannot get past the registration point to even use this app. Once it starts working, you might get a better review . Samsung Galaxy s9, up to date knox, up to date android

It wont even allow me to get past the log in screen to create an account, Cota makes enough money to at least give its customers a decent app with live tracking and payment options.

Mobile ticketing is only available for C-pass users. There is nothing else in the app that isn't already replicated by Transit and Google Maps.

Cota as per usual is useless and lies to your face about how they actually run. This app is for people theyve already given all sorts of incentives to and completely ignores the lower income commuters. Maybe focus on putting more benches and running buses in before trying to give handouts to people who already work downtown. If there were a competing bus company I would break my back to use them instead of the cota.

It's ok but will only let you purchase the $2.00 Standard rate one way with a transfer Or the Express route plus transfef for $2.75 Should allow more options like a full day pass for $4.50

Stay logged in if you've used your pass once and need to use it again to transfer. If you log out, your pass won't be active anymore.

I lost my cash and didnt have a way to work the next day. So i reached out to a friend on facebook messenger. N he sent me $5 .. but there was noway i could get the $5 off from a cash back or ATM. I started searching. Then i said " COTA should start accepting debit. Then WAA LAA!! Seen this app and was excited and relieved. Thanks COTA i enjoy bus #32.

Won't let me move on without "naming my wallet". I try to name it and get an error message. This app appears to be unusable at the moment...

COTA had several apps but my phone was "updated" by my carrier and I can no longer see routes through any app I can call up on my phone.

Everyone is using it now and it's speeding up lines of people boarding. Highly recommend.

trash app, I cannot get past the login screen. the app refuses to let me even create an account. whoever developed this app should be thoroughly ashamed

For a long while I've had no issues. For the last few days it stopped working.
