Im still excited for later updates from the new team. They have ruined the UI with the last update it feels cheaper they removed preference settings, and cut the corners off of the coubs by rounding them. I am very displeased. I dont dislike change but this is very much so in the wrong direction.
The UI is much better than than the website and the ease of use is better too. However it has a lot of problems it crashes frequently and a lot of the content creators and content available on the website is not available I'm the app. It has potential but is not fully functional it needs a lot of things to be fixed. Also it would be nice if there was a way to toggle the feed between what's new globally and what's new from the people I follow.
I loved this app, good app, perfect in every way. Too bad now I can't say the same because NOTHING WORKS. When posting a link, sometimes the app rejects the link for no reason, keep in mind it's a YOUTUBE link with no copyrighted material, unexcusable. When editing clips, it randomly stops looping when cropping a clip and then in order to reset it you must click out which undoes what you just cropped. Not to mention, randomly the video got cut off, like just half the screen, WHY? Fix & 5☆
That's a cool app! But sometimes my clip doesn't want to upload.Some kind of error.And when I edit the video and music everything is fine,but when I upload it, synchronization disappears!I really like the main idea of this app, but could you do smth about it please?May i give my wish list to creators of this app? ;) It wouldn't be bad if you allow to make longer clips. Adding a comment section is also not a bad idea. Btw I really need an opportunity to add some cool effects on my clip. Thanks))
Fastest uninstall ever. The desktop site is great for finding gifs and such, but the app is sorely lacking. Its like it doesn't want to promote a certain kind of content. On top of that, it's slow as hell and has a bad UI. ------------------------------------------------------------ UPDATE: if you're having issues with certain *content* not loading, install the Coub v3.3.4 APK which you can find online. Not sure why this is necessary, but whatever.
GIFs with sound are the best. Not seriously I've been using coub for years and I could say that it wouldn't be a waste sitting hours and hours at it. And yeah I want to tell about some bugs... First of them is the new one, if you will try to change coub on hot from daily to something else it wouldn't load. And the second one is old and maybe you have fixed it. I was using web version of coub I do really like to watch my liked coubs, but some of them were'nt loading and it didn't load. Happy 2019
It's a good app, but much inferior to the desktop version, navigating is much harder and so is sharing coubs. Going through any sort if list of coubs can be a drag, because if you click on any of them and then try to go back, your position in the list will be reset.
Unpolished app, not really usable. Every time you switch using apps, coub forgets what it was doing and resets the app, even if you shared coub you like, it will reset the app. Doesn't have sideways function, if you turn around your phone, app will not adjust. You can watch coubs in full screen, you can press on "video" but it will glitch out and either skip to previous one or just play audio of previous could, also could stretch coub completely. Can use coub fine only on PC. App is garbage!
Great app. I am using it quite often and enjoy it. Suggestion: Perhaps, you could make some improvements for stabilizing the sound. Some coubs are too silent while others are way to loud. This difference gets annoying from time to time.
look, I KNOW this is a good platform, I've used it on PC, however, this app absolutely refuses to work for me, no matter how many times I reconnect to the Wi-Fi or restart the router I always get the network error notification when I try to sign up and that's extremely frustrating.
Useless app that never gets updated. Videos still freeze all the time when creating coubs and you still can't loop videos like on the website. Also I can't log in with ANY accounts. Not Facebook, not through Twitter, Google, email. I tried everything! Everytime it's an error.
The best video application, I like the design... The only thing that I did not like is adding accounts since I was testing it and created an account and now I can not delete it, also no You can stop following the channels as "animation" since I told them to stop following and they keep appearing... From there on out it's great
Amazing, the only problem i have is when you download a video it will cut to the length of video and you don't get the full music, i think they should add the option of cutting to video Length or music to download. Tnx none the less.
It wont remember my login, I tried log in with google and email, but after few minutes, I get app restart and I need to clear storage data to be able to log back in. It just wont let me log in nor log out of app. And when I click on My Likes, It will just load forever. Tried with both mobile data and wifi. Both stable connections...
I'm using it to look at fun, cool, funny, booba and awesome stuff for some years now and had no technical issues. Would be nice to have some more saving to faworite options and stuff like that. It's fun and a weirdly good way to find new movies and songs
I though there's not much worse than 9gag app. Now, this... This is the most awful I've seen so far. It refuses to accept any of your social media profiles but wants to have your phone number. Really slow, dark mode isn't easily accessible. Freezes every few minutes :/
Too many issues with flow reloads, it often displays many incorrect coub (not those that I have clicked), loss of the context... Nobody wants to fix it for years. The app is a trash, but a site is good - use the site.
The app looks and works all fine. It has a minimal UI that's easy to handle because every core function is at hands. Searching is easy and works well. And last but not least: content speaks for itself. 😄
It's a great tool for me to favorite one I like for a quick pep up. Need a laugh or good feels vid. Quick to load. I just wish you could choose to cache selected vids locally under a different list so that I wouldn't eat up my data plan.
Absolutley love the app, the app is just so good. How it blurs the NSFW coubs and has the option to turn them off. Its so easy to make a coub and the easy editing. Anyone can make a coub real quick and its available on computer and phone. Absolutley phenomenal app.
Installed app and since I forgot password, did the password reset. Received the reset email, pushed button and when app reopened.... NOTHING!! But a black screen with an ↑ arrow. Un and Reinstalled app 7X same thing. Tried support, still received nothing. Use to be a Great site. But since you can't use website without the ADD App pop up every 2 seconds. Well.. back to YouTube. UPDATE: Change to new account and I guess they got a new Boss because Not one single problem since. So, F-you YouTube!
I desperately need options "All" or/and "Random" while browsing my liked coubs. Because now I can watch only recent or too old. And they either too new to watch again, or too boring to watch 100th times (old ones). So, there are a lot of my liked coubs I cannot watch. They are somewhere in the middle between too new and too old ones. Add these 2 options and it is solid 5/A mark then.
The concept looks awesome Ann's I'm sure this is an isolated issue, but for some reason, I cant crop and save any profile pics. Keeps giving me a 'image crop failed' error.
its a ok app it has a lot of variety and sych but i stopped using it a while ago, so as such i would like to unsubscribe from recieving emails. well the like to unsubscribe at the bottom of said email says i need to get the app to access the page, i get the app click the link and the app opens then it just crashes. So am i unsubscribed? Can i unsubscribe?
This is the worst update ever. Terrible UI design Removing the filter option where we used to easily see the top coubs of the week or top on channels. Showing the bad coubs at hot while the best is in bottom. You can no longer see where the original coub is from, usually it showed you the link to YouTube or others but now nothing. It was true, Coub actually died in April 1st. Edit: spelling.
