I've been using this app for years and I've restarted the program and gone back to running after several surgeries. It never fails to bring my health back to where I want it and a period of immobility. I'm so grateful for this app!
Had a go of this a while back and thought it might be a good app to use. Start at week 1 again, get to my last jog and an app pops up. No problem, I'm on the free version so it's expected. However, when the app has finished and I close it it's back to the welcome screen. I was seething. Figure it must have been user error and begrudgingly start again. The exact. same. thing. happened again. So I've done week one twice with nothing to show. Do I recommend? Absolutely not. Ps I'm not on huawai
Update: been a year or more and this feature isn't fixed. Developer solution doesn't fix the real issue. Uninstalling. Used to enjoy this app until recently and it crashes after I tab out to another app while on a run. I'm not aware until I don't get my chime after I start the run, after my warmup. This leaves me in the middle of a run that never finishes. might be a conflict with the lap feature in Nike Run Club which I hit each time I finish a segment, warmup included. Makes this app unusable.
Such an easy to navigate app, works everything. Very happy with my experience. Definitely recommend for novice and beginner runners.
Good pace. Definitely gets you there. Integrates with earbuds to tell you when to switch from walking to running and back.
Great for beginners wanting to build up there fitness and start getting into cardio. It's amazing how quickly the body adapts using this system.
I am training for half marathon and this is great. I just wish you could update running times for your pace instead of just time
Easy transition from C25K but the app seems a little buggy with times. Nothing that makes me want to reject it.
DONT download this app. The devs will keep telling you it's a specific OS issue and you have to troubleshoot by changing its settings to manage the app manuallly. This is TERRIBLE dev practice, stating manual workarounds to their users so they don't have the need to fix the root cause (i.e. why don't you make your app compatible with all OS?). Even with this "fix", the app will still close by force. There are better Cto10k apps in the playstore, AVOID this one at all costs!!
Easy to use. The gradual increase each week actually makes it easier and easier.
Awesome app that helped me start running. Wish it had some countdown for the intervals to help with motivation.
Best way to get motivated to run! I love this app! I use it every spring to get myself back up to speed and it is perfect. You will not regret starting this program. You can do it!
I love running with this app. I used it to train myself back into running from 0 since i took a break off running. I graduated from 5k and now trying for 10k it is free to use as well! Love it ♡
Ease your way into plan. If you found one day too difficult stay on the previous day until it becomes easier.
Great and free the only thing I don't like is you can't stream a podcast, but you can play music
I use this everytime I run. Accuracy is on point and is a great rool to gauge my training.
Great app... If your committed, you can absolutely reach your fitness goals with this app and the right diet. Unfortunately, the subscription version adds very little, if any, value. No matter which genre you search for in the music section, the app serves house or pop playlists. The news portion is slow-paced and dull, not exactly perfect excercise listening. Still, that's just the extras... Lite version is great!
I've been using this app for years now and its been of great use, but in the last few months there's been an issue with the GPS. At the end of a session it simply draws a line from your start point to the end point. Meaning if you run in a big circle and end where you began, the graphic makes it look as if you've only run 20 feet. I'll rate this app 5 stars if that one issue is resolved. EDIT: Thank you to the developers for clarifying the issue. The problem was indeed on my end. Five stars!
I'm liking the app so far. I don't really use the music feature as I prefer to use a dedicated music app alongside it. The voice coach is sometimes faulty, for example on week 2 it says to run for 1 minute while it should be 90 seconds. I find it annoying that the sound which plays when opening the app completely stops any other sound playing from other apps, which doesn't resume afterwards either. I'd rate this app higher if the opening sound didn't interrupt anything or was simply removed.
The programme is a fantastic way of easing into runninga further distance. I have got to 5k on this app so far and been so impressed at how my running has improved and that I can now run for a straight half an hour after just over a month! My main issue is that the app just stops whilst I am doing the run, luckily I have a watch that I can keep time with. This may be an issue with my phone rather than the app but it's very frustrating.
This app is excellent for getting you to your 5k and 10k goals. Follow along and know that you can and will complete every run. It'll be hard, but you got this. I love this app for it's pacing and timers. I don't use the GPS or music functions, so I can't comment on those. But if you just want weekly goals then C210K delivers.
