Counsel - Real time advice
A single human being may not have enough wisdom and experience to make the best decisions but if you combine the wealth of knowledge that mankind has gained as a species, we can make better decisions which will lead to a better life. Counsel is an attempt to bring back that human touch that is slowly disappearing with the integration of more and more technology in our lives. We urge you to not just seek help but also to share your experiences with others and help them.
We aim to be the global platform for emotional wellness.We reward you for helping other people. You can either chat with them or leave a comment.
Feeling low or depressed? Talking to supportive people can help. Sometimes, all we need is an assurance from someone but we may not always have someone around us to give us that support. Counsel is a community where you can seek advice and answers from people and also help others with your own wisdom and experience.
You can think of it like a new age and personal Yahoo answers or Quora. Some of the community members have pursued masters education in psychology, psychotherapy and counselling. What's more? You can post as well as chat anonymously so that you can discuss your problems and life issues without having to reveal your identity.

Permissions explained
Device and App History : To log crashes and figure out the reason behind them.Identity & Contacts : Chat needs this permission. But we can assure you that we don't store or use this data since we don't need it.Phone permissions : Our first version actually allowed people to talk via VoIP calls. We have removed this feature and we will soon deprecate this permission too.Photos/Media : To allow the user to select a profile picture.Camera : To allow users to upload a profile picture by taking a photo from the camera.Microphone : Users can post voice comments in addition to text comments.Device ID : To send push notifications (we are working on matching questions to the most appropriate users who might be able to answer the question)

Love it and i love helping people. But i have found one problem. The limit on questions. I know its to prevent spam content which is fine. Limiting questions per day is fine. But i feel as if the monthly limit should be removed. Because some people need advice or just to vent more often than you allow per month. If you removed that part of the limitation i will rate 5 stars again.
I love this app I am able to be me and not feel judged, people get me and support me for who I am...so glad there is an app like this one because it's a way to say what I really feel and not feel like such a loser. Gives me a better view of who I really am when sharing questions and stories that others understand or have been through and are able to uplift one another. I feel safe opening up for once.
This app is seriously one of a kind and I understand it's still developing. There are a few issues where sometimes it doesn't respond or claims that the internet connection is lost. Or when you log out and forget your password chances are you aren't going to get that account back. But that doesn't change the fact that it has a good amount of people on it who want to help others :) it's a chilled out app.really helps for someone who wants the help😊
It's fine so far but hey, when I did the initial sign up, I was unaware that my full name would be displayed and I've tried changing my screen name but I CAN'T neother can I figure out a way to delete account and create a new one with a anonymous name. Help! I don't want people to know my business, I've already posted stuff.
This app has the perfect concept for anyone seeking advice. Such a great community is right here helping each other out. It is truely heart warming to know that such an app exists with such support from its users. I am extremely impressed with the developers of this amazing app. You have managed to create and maintain a safe place for anyone needing any type of help. There may be minor bugs, but that doesn't take away from the concept and funcinality of this amazing creation. Thanks for your hard work.
I loved this app before and I hate to give it 3 stars but every time I try to chat with someone it says "chat provider not authenticated. Please try again later" i have no clue what to do because waiting is not working for me. I've uninstalled and reinstalled stalled a few times but it doesn't do anything
It does the bare basics but many UI things are not there or don't work well: - if you tap a name in Chats, it copies the text ro clipboard instead of opening the profile of the person that messages you. - there is NO WAY to open to profile of someone that messages you. - profiles are empty: theres no age, no bio, just their name and numbers of answers and questions. - you cant tap on someones answers and questions on their profile to help them out in return. - no filter for age, .... etc etc.
I had this app downloaded a year ago on an old phone but after a few days it would say no internet connection. I liked the app and thought I'd give it another shot. I have had it for less that 48 hours and is already not letting me log in due to the same old connection.
I have just joined and posted a few things and my rank automatically goes up. What if the advice didn't help? what if I have posted horrible things? You look at the "leader board" and you think oh this person must be logical and empathetic only to find out that they are trolls fix the rankings to be based on people liking the advice. -also people are allowed to regret comments said in anger fix it so that you can delete them also A REPORT USER FUNCTION TO GET TROLLS BANNED OR AT LEAST SOME ADMINERSTRATIVE OVER SITE. that's all.
I love this app! It's a great feeling to be able to talk to people that have no idea who u are and get great honest opinions! U don't feel judged! I have even made a friend on here! She doesn't know who I am but that is great because I feel like I can share alot more with her! The app is simple and has the option to talk to others privately! And u can also give advice to others that u don't know and feel like they are more open to ur help! Great stress reliever to be able to help others thru thier problems!
Simply the best. You can get help at any time from real people with different but smart suggestions. And you can also advise people too.This is an amazing app. Whoever created it...you're a living genius..God bless
This app is really expressive and effective. I have been able to express my problems towards people and they give helpful advice. If you are a person who loves to read problems and concerns then try to give advice, then this would be the best app for you to download. Thanks a lot!!

I just gave 2 stars . The network keeps on saying check your internet even may data is on. You should fix this problem.
Just got the app. Was excited. Hasn't worked at all. Crashes every time I click on comments
I really like this app it has great people who care but i think maybe you could add different areas or like categorys too like a vent section to help regulate what every one sees everyone can see other post and not just the most recent also im not a person who belives in god but i dont "bash" other religions either so if you make a column for other religions that would be cool i actually have a few ideas that you all may like if your open minded and all let me know 😌 all in all this is a good app
Can't sign up. Facebook doesn't connect and traditional form tells me I have no internet connection even though I do. Yayy

I don't know what to say. But if you want help, or think you can give good advice, this is a darn good app.
Have been trying to create an account for over a day and haven't been able to because it says to "check internet connection". Have not had this issue with any other app
It was doing great but these days I cannot have access to my account it keeps crashing and it says to check my internet connection when it's working properly. I even reported the issue but I haven't received any reply yet.

Couldn't get past the sign up screen. A message kept popping up saying please check internet connection and try again. I'm fully connected to the internet, there is no connection problem.
I liked it, there was always someone there to give me advice. And its a good way to release stress and just put your problems out there knowing you don't have anything to worry about, someone will help you.
The concept is great and I have no problems. Yet I can't change my name since it was autocorrected.
I've had this app before and I very much enjoyed it! I tried to log back into my account awhile ago when re-installing it. I had forgotten my password and tried to send a password reset link. I never got the link. I tried again today and I still never got it. I'm not sure if it's because I use G-mail instead of E-mail or not. If not, would you please fix it?
This app is really helpful if you need help with counseling in any form. They are people here with great counseling abilities and they're very encouraging. I do not kno what happened to the developer but I hope he/she is alright and that everything is going great because we could really use some help with the bugs
