Just awesome! Very simple registration process, simple to get the scooter and end the ride. I had some issue validating my driving license, but the customer support was friendly and quickly dealt with it. A super convenient way to move around town!
Crappy. Got billed for a ride I didn't do because internet failed. Couldn't change my credit card details because of a bug in the app and got fined because - big surprise - the payment didn't go through. Wrote to them and was duely ignored. So I uninstalled Coup because of its bad app and complete fail in communication.
Most of the time that I have to end a trip the app is unable to establish a connection with the scooter and I have to restart it. This means paying an additional cost of 0,20€ for almost every trip because of malfunctioning
I like the idea and the scooters but the connectivity between the app and the scooter is just horrible. I had to wait almost every time to establish a connection. Reset Bluetooth, restart my smartphone.
I was charged 60 eur by collectors company for the 2 eur dept that I had to COUP. The app has never mentioned that I have ongoing debt and that my card has expired. But now when they are shutting the doors, I understand that it probably was just a way to get additional profit. Shame on you!
Coup WAS a great and easy way to swiftly travel around Berlin City. Coup WAS fairly priced. But thats all changed since Coup more than doubled their prices. For the same price you can rent a BMW Cabrio in Berlin
long story short, I arrived late on the first day of my job, because your f* app didn't end the rent. I am sorry that i stressed out your employee on the phone and appreciate her. she tried her best, but your app and system needs a long way ahead of development.
Registered, booked a ride when I noticed the seat was all dirty. the app didnt work properly and struggled to cancel the resrrve and in the end I was still charged 4 euros in Paris (refund)???. shame because I was keen to use this during the holiday but it doesnt seem reliable enough.
Great electric scooter sharing in Berlin. Good acceleration, so, you can keep up with cars and do not have to fear them. Great means of getting around in Berlin.
90% of the time i cannot terminate the rental because the app doesn't work and need to call the customer service. Also, it's impossible to cancel a reservation.
Unacceptable! half the time the scooter cannot connect and i end up waiting over it on the phone calling customer service to lock it. how can u mess up so hard? at least put an emergency lock button or smth! seriously pissed! and the support takes 10 to 15 to pick up the phone! fail fail fail!
It took me a lot of time to start the bike because no explained was given of how to do it. App is also buggy and i need a lot of time to return the bike. Not recommended.
Requires an illegal full scan of your german ID. Huge risk of ID theft. Others do that better.. Covered up uploads do not work. Support only advises to upload full scan instead. Others don't need it.
One of the fastest registration process for new customers. Great app, great service, awesome support, and, las but not least, amazing scooters :) Keep up the good work you guys!
Update: I ranted 100 times against your app but I'm really sad the service is shutting down Drive 7 minutes and pay for 45 that's a business model. Once every 4/5 times you get a scooter that you can't lock back after use anymore.I have to say the support is nice and they reimburse the extra time but basically I need to call them more often than I call my family to end the rents.Last time I just didn't have time to wait in queue to talk to support and I just needed to leave the scooter unattended until by some kind of luck 44 minutes later I was able to end the rent by going back to it
used to be a friendly app and service. now, we seem to be liable and billed for every small problem that might be found on the scooter: cleaning fees, battery damage etc....
Always trouble to terminate the renting. You need to call germany with sometimes no reply to end it. time wasting and money spent on useless overseas calls to solve the problems.
Best way to get around town (and sneak through traffic), allowing endless flexibility. I believe I have done a thousands rides by now :)
Scooter Rental always ends with connection problems when I want to end the ride. Sometimes it takes up to 5 min to re-establish a connection which means extra money...
The scooters are really fun and fast but the whole process can be really annoying. Most rentals take longer than expected as the connection between phone and scooter cannot be established. This sometimes extends the rental up to five minutes ehuch is not acceptable.
I used to love Coup but have issues connecting to the scooters. They also doubled their prices almost, so doubt I'll be using Coup anymore.
Never possible to properly end the trip and endless time to reach support to lock the scooter. Never again

My registration failed without any reson given and i couldnt reach the customer service number despite several attempts.

Reporting from Paris: i love the concept, but you need to work on the implementation. Connectivity to the scooter relies on Bluetooth and it often fails to connect, creating a lot of frustration when trying to unlock or lock the scooter. Furthermore, the help page button doesn't work. It just takes the user to the coup front page. It's a good start, please keep improving.
