Coupons for Harbor Freight Tools

At one point I rated the app as "Excellent App" and 5 stars. At this point, I receive notifications that serve only the purpose of being "annoying" and not much more. The developer can not control what the company does not offer the the ITC members, but if it does not provide coupons, please don't send the notifications at anytime day or night. The reminders are just OK, but also annoying. The functionality that I get from the app is creating my shopping list. Wow, that's really worth it!

It's too hard to see the coupons and adverts in the gallery because the resolution is too low and/or pics too small. Also, the app is locked in portrait mode, which I find annoying. A useful feature that maybe the developer would consider is adding the ability to scroll left/right through the adverts individually so you don't have to constantly return to the gallery just to see the next advert (or coupon, or whatever they are). That said, the content seems always fresh, so I'll give it that.

Works great! I use this app EVERY time I go to HF. I always get a free item, and 20% off my purchase. And yes I know the paper editions offer the same thing, but who wants to carry around those bulky magazines anyway? Also there are coupons in here which are not in my magazine! Plus this has a convenient search feature, and its well organized and easy to find certain coupons without having to flip through multiple pages... thanks so much!

Great way to keep up with the deals at Harbor Freight and ads are unobtrusive. Easy to browse through and clip the coupons you want to keep. Could benefit from a search bar so you can type in words such as "hammer" to scan coupons for these key words so that you will be able to find coupons related to specific items you are looking for. It is still fine without it, as there aren't too many coupons to browse through anyway. It would just be faster and easier.

Love this app! I use it all the time. Since I use it SO much, I have one request. Within the saved coupon section, it would be nice to have a shopping session. I.e you have 20+ items saved but today you're going to purchase only 10 of them. You select those 10 items and put them in your shopping section for easy check out at the register. That way you're not fumbling through all of your saved coupons and risk missing something.

The coupons and ads are fairly well organized by category. But there are too many extremely small ads on the same page. Would be much better to scroll them one by one. Also many duplicates show and there's no way of knowing if you've already clipped an item. App will not display in landscape which is easier for those having a hard time seeing. Can only zoom in on specific, individual ads. Great effort at a mobile app but it should reflect the website a lot more than it does. 4 stars given 6-6-20

RATE THE APP PEOPLE! lol Great app overall except update causes the keyboard to pop-up everytime you enlarge an item. Very annoying. Also, using my tablet, the app stops working every few minutes and I have to reopen it multiple times just to see all the coupons. The last issue is the amount of time it takes for the tapped coupn item to display after 2-3 times. (Could be my tablet, but I don't have these issues on other sites.) Please attend to these issues and the app will be great!

Great app, search function, alot of coupons and layout is great. I think i had the same app on my last phone (i dont remember the name), layout was very similar but the other one had a barcode scanner so you could use to scan what was in your cart. If this app could do that it would be perfect. All in all this is a great choice with no extra bs and works perfectly.

User/Consumer based app... Within minutes of opening it, love it! Found all the coupons I set out to find. My catalogs stopped coming in the mail a long time ago, even though I have made sure I was on the mailing list while in store. As a life long tech, I go for top tier tools. But, I by lots of the consumables from HF. Saving money on it helps! Having this as an option to actually have the coupons I want, and in digital form is simply genius! Not a complaint, just a suggestion: Search Feature!

Great App! It is fast, easy, and organize! Love it. I just stopped by at a harbor freight store to purchase some batteries. I ended up buying 5 other things since all had coupons. I love that you can clip the coupons to your shopping cart and when at store they are all there organized and ready to be scan. No need to look thru a whole booklet or thru the paper coupons. This app makes it way easier and convenient. Probably a danger if you don't have self control 😅😂.

I work for Harbor Freight and share this app with as many customers as I can. It is fantastic! The search and shopping cart functions make it absolutely invaluable. I'm not allowed to supply customers with coupons but sharing this app is always a great service tool. There is almost always a better coupon for products than what is locally / readily available and it saves my customers lots of money. Keep up the great work!

Good idea and handy. However: Hard to read or make any sense of entry page because pics and letters are so small. Would much rather be able to view 1 column and scroll down or view 1 at a time and swipe to next or prior. Clicking the notification should go to the subject coupon(s)- half the time I cant find the subject coupon(s). Would be great to have an index of coupons and/or tags and categories to search, screen & find results. Resolution is weak- makes app fuzzy and harder to read.

Much easier than keeping a folder of coupons. It short, it works. A cashier at Harbor Freight showed me the ap when I couldn't find a coupon I wanted to use. I just wish their was a way to scroll through the coupons when they are full sized, like scrolling through an long magazine article or photo album. Zooming in and out gets annoying.

Fantastic! So much better than searching through paper coupons and clipping or marking the ones I want. Wish there were multiple carts to make it easier to save a few coupons for one trip and have a second list for future trips (can't always buy everything at once). Also wish there was a pay option to remove ads. Otherwise I highly recommend!

I gave you a 4 because of the fact that you have two coupon books that are confusing. this one seems to be the better one it shows all the things that you can get. the other one just gives you 20% off one item 25% off of another item and most of it's on website but yet it doesn't let you go on the website. this one however I really like it had been what I had before. please go and do something about the Harbor Freight coupon books so that it doesn't get mixed up on play store anymore. Thank you

Beats searching the website and taking screenshots or carrying paper. The coupons uploaded have a digitally generated barcode when added to your cart, so the cashier always has a code to scan. I wish there was just a $1 or less section and just a "free" section. For the folks giving low reviews, remember, you are reviewing this app, not Harbor Freight. Also, if you're complaining about notifications, turn them off. Low quality images? Pinch zoom.

Absolutely love Harbor freight! Ive purchased so many things over the years it would take all day to ramble them off.Always hold up and get the job done. Funny thing is, I have had to exchange tools and general products from higher priced tools and items. They know what their doing and it just keeps getting better in my opinion. Keep up those gteat products without ripping off the consumers. Love Harbor Freight!! Almost forgot to mention you walk out with something free with a single purchase.

I love that it has current coupons. When I clipped coupons I would occasionally forget them, this way they're always one click away. I have also noticed that it offers different free items. The printed free in our area is usually just the blue magnetic light which we really like, but this had 2 choices besides that light, a tape measure and a tarp. This APP is a win/win.

Saves time at checkout and is easier to browse through than the monthly paper HF coupon/ad catalog. Strangely, I also like to have the paper ads with me when I go to HF (paper doesn't break when you drop it on the floor). However, it would be great to have the option to print the complete coupon list from the cart on one page and be able to hand it to the checkout person in one shot instead of opening and scanning coupons one by one.

This app is similar to the old app. The layout and semi fuzzy pictures are identical and as randomly organized as before. A link to purchase would be nice, be it mail order or store pickup. And the ability to check features would be of help when comparing items either on or off site. Overall, I'm still going to use this app, create a wish list and drive down to the nearest store. Maybe the next iteration will have my selections waiting for me when I get there? Wishful thinking, right?

Very handy to have constant access to the latest and most current coupon options, especially for ones I don't usually have access. Months after first review still great app, I rarely have to clip coupons for HF anymore. Only issue is that sometimes the coupon resolution is poor and the store can't scan the phone and have to enter the number manually, not a big deal but slows the checkout process.

Upgraded from one to four stars. Works fine now. It seems a bit better than the earlier version I'd been using. And it has always had all the coupons I've seen anywhere. Earlier, I wrote: Absolutely will not install. I've tried a half dozen times and the only thing I get is "Installation pending". The old app worked fine. Why "fix it" when it wasn't broken?

Some minor inconveniences in the app design, such as then keyboard button to search doesn't submit the search and I need to press the button near the text bar. Other than some small things like that, it is an easy to use, relatively attractive, and insanely useful app. Would recommend to a friend!

Great app, very simple and easy to use, clickable items go into your cart, when your at the cashier they scan them right from your phone or tablet, you save and smile all the way home. Also if you leave notifications on the app will alert you of soon expiring coupons and new ones that have just arrived. Heck you can even share your finds with friends.

Works great. Whoever said they dont have cellphone service in there stores is absolutely wrong. My phone gets great service in the 3 stores closest to my home. Your problem may be due to your service provider. If you have an issue getting good service, there is a simple fix, screen capture the coupons you intend on using before entering the store.

Simple, search feature is great, and always up to date. Only thing I'd change is the add size and make sure the adds have "appropriate pictures". Also, if you add a term to your wishlist, like screwdrivers for example. It should automaticly search the current coupons and attach suggested coupons to that keyword. Then you wouldnt have to keep switching back between the liat and the coupons.

Swift and easy. I spent almost no time at all at checkout. I just loaded up the app while on line and chose the coupons for the items I was purchasing and the person at the register just scanned them and I received my discounts and freebies and saved more than 20% on my total purchase! I can't wait to go back again. It fast and convenient.
