Covert Wireless

Bought a camera in 2020, after 2 months Covert had to replace it with a new one. Had a few issues with the new one after almost 1 year- wouldn't take pics or i couldn't retrieve them in the app-seemed to resolve itself. Then i couldn't change work time in app. Now the pics don't come thru the app- only can see 1/2 an image. Tech says to re-install the app. Let's see if it works. I don't know how a tech support operates with only weekday hours when the weekend is when most people can contact.

Everytime I try to save a picture from the app to my phone the app crashes. Tried rebooting my phone even went in and unistalled the app and reinstalled. Still wont work. I previously used the app for about 8 months on the same phone with no issues.

Best camera you could ever get if you like watching your dear your primary animals, for a very low price you can get 5,000 pictures a month for $9.99!

Picture quality is great. I upgraded from Spypoint for that reason. Problem is, its 3x the price of spypoint and $5 more a month. The battery life, SD card and service indicator is pretty far off. I'm not sure why they bother even having it. Videos can only be viewed if you go retrieve the SD card which is kind of pointless. The app isn't awesome. Took me a bit. Overall opinion, it's a great cam for 100-150. Problem is it's 300. But it works and I'm happy with it. Could be better for the money.

UPDATE: Now my pictures won't come up when I click the app. I have to start scrolling from older pics to see my new ones! Time to get Spartans! The new app is terrible. It wont show me when I have pictures, or allow me to see them. If you click into the app sometimes you can scroll and find them, but that is very inconvenient! The old version could have been a little better but I would take it back in a second. I would be giving 5 stars without the update!

This update is awful. There are no features on this update that are better than the old one,even if it worked. Can't change settings from phone or get a real time photo. Never seen an app that took this long to work the "bugs" out. Go back to the old app or your customers are going to look at other cameras with hunting season right around the corner

This app is worthless which makes the camera worthless. I tested my Blackhawk LTE and it shot and sent a few photos. Now that I'm 90 miles away I can't get anything out of it. If I force a photo to be shot it sends me the same photo from the day before, over and over. The place is covered in game and this is the only feeder so I know they are hitting it.

Photos are good but the app is slow most of the time. Also, they fail to tell you in the description that they charge you additionally for HD photos. And you cannot order the HD photos from this app you have to go online. When you download the HD photos you don't get the 12M photo. The one HD photo I paid for was 856KB but hey it measured 2048x1536! And you cannot watch the videos from the app. You have to go online. They could make a lot of improvements.

I've got three of these and pay for a yearly 50,000 photo subscription for each of them. I can't see any pictures from any of them. They all show different battery strength and the batteries are out of two of them while being charged. The location feature shows one of my cameras being about 15 miles from where it's at. There's pictures on the SD cards of these cameras. I just can't see them in the app. It says to purchase more tokens and I'm paid up for a year.

Great cameras. I haven't had any issues with app itself. I would like to see the option to play videos through the app, as well as an alert to let you know the battery is getting to a critical point. There is a battery life indicator in the app but if you don't check it every day low battery life can go unnoticed. Other than that it's been great. I've have several great photos from the cameras and am happy with their quality and performance.

I like the pictures, theyre super clear. But no notifications ever and whenever I press the "load more" button, it just loads up the same pictures I've already seen over and over. I can't go back to older pictures. Very disappointed with the app features now.

I've used Covert cameras for at 5+ years. I've never paid for a instant photo until the new update. I don't see how you can start charging a customer that's been with you that long for a feature thats always been free. Besides this, I have no problems. Good cameras and great customer service. But I'm definitely not happy with you now charging longterm customers for something we've always received for free...

i have 4 of these, the latest LTE AT&T I have (20 megapixel) only shows up to 12 megapixels on the app, also there is no "off" icon on the sensitivity, to turn the camera off...the app needs some work, for sure! Covert tech support is usually to busy to talk...i am being generous with a 3, because the other ones i have are working good, EXCEPT, they are taking pictures before anything gets into view, and yes I have tried changing sensitivity on them, and it still shoots early....

The latest version of this app needs some work. Indicated battery life and available SD card space is not even close to what the camera is at. Although push notifcations are set, they still are not pushed to the phone. I would reccomend not upgrading from the old version unless you have to for now.

Still not working, 2/4/2021, have talked to Covert, no luck, it's almost like they don't care. Been a customer for 5 years, have sold a bunch of cameras for them.. I have a problem with them wanting to charge extra to take a picture, that's how I make sure my cameras are aimed where I want them..9/30/21, not working correctly again, no notification when a picture is taken, have talked with Covert twice and they don't have any idea when or if it will be fixed

New update is garbage, ZERO FUNCTIONS WORK! UPDATE I've added a couple stars, the following updates have become better. I still cannot review pictures in full screen mode because headers and footers block 50% of the image. Tiny pictures make it much more difficult to quickly review 100 daily images. The first version allowed full screen review.

Updated app 2/7/22, 6:46pm (central time) app crashes after trying to save a photo...

new app update is terrible. cant download high res pics, notifications are splotchy, interface is bad. old app was 100% better. it was simple, easy to find and view photos, easy to download high res images, and was quicker.

please revert back to the old app, this one clearly has too many bugs to be worked out, no notifications, cannot zoom in on pictures anymore, no command to take a photo, cannot download video clips anymore...i love my cameras but right now they are pretty useless.... is there an option to get the old version back...????

I have 3 of these cameras for surveillance at work properties. Worked great at first they eventually quit sending the photos and notifications to my phone. Sent them in for service still doing the same thing. I'm about ready to give up on them.

This was a 5 when I first purchased. Then it stopped connecting. The camera seems to connect fine but will not send pictures to my app. I have tried touble shooting and updating firmware with no luck.I have tried calling twice to speak to someone on the phone with no response. If this camera and app don't work any better than this and the support seems nonexistant , I am not sure why anyone would pay that much for this camera. I can buy 3 spypoint camers for what I spent on this one alone.

All was great till they started charging for instant photo. I can't understand why. It takes photos every min and no extra charges but now if you make it take a pic they are saying it is different and they will charge for it. Explain to me what the difference is a picture is a picture. I pray for 5000 pics shouldn't matter if I take a picture or not

No notifications for new pics! Now getting charged to send a pic request. Uninstalled app and reinstalled it, now I can't even see my cameras!The Rut is right here now Too! Cameras worked great last season, not so much so for this one! VERY DISAPPOINTED especially considering the cost of it all!!

Very bad. Will not allow me to log in on my cell phone. Can get in using that exact password on laptop. Cust Service would be horrible if it existed at all. You cannot get in touch with them...just a garbage phone loop recording.

Good overall some pictures dont come through. It should be getting signal. Also after putting in new batteries the resychronization process with the portal can take some patience and persistence.

I have used the Covert App for a month and it is working great 👍💡👍. Whatever problems existed are likely fixed. Note the E2 camera cannot be configured through the Covert App.

I can log in app and see the photos, but am not getting notifications sent to me when pic is taken. I need the pics right away! I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app a few times and still doesn't work!

This version is horrible plus charging for real time photos. We pay enough for the cameras and service. Cameras stopped sending pics. Im second guessing covert now. Thinking of switching brands.

Excellent app and camera. Would love to see option added where you can set times of night and day you get notifications. That way you didn't have phone keeping you up all night

New issue , my camera will not sync with Android 12??
