Pretty bad for a business app. Works - sometimes. Constantly disconnecting me from the system, resulting in missed calls. Also, occasionally when hanging up from a call, the system still shows me connected, meaning I can't place or receive another call. I have to force shutdown the app and reopen. You'd think for business clients paying money and relying on this app, they would have this better sorted out. If it's still in Beta (which it seems), then don't charge for it.
Unfortunately stuck with this. App rings endlessly, doesn't let me pick up calls, can't 'silence' incoming calls so ive had numerous meetings interuppted with my loud ring tone (and it always rings on MAX volume which I can't change), so i have to shut my phone off or put on do not disturb which defeats the purpose of having this app. Only good for outgoing calls. Also there's no reset password option from the app, you have to go online to do that. Terrible UI, just another reason cox sucks.
I gave it 2 stars because occasionally it works. Since upgrading to Galaxy S10 now it will ring without an option to answer so 90% of the calls i get i have to let ring out and call back. Also sometimes i will answer on another device but the UC app will continue to ring INFINITELY with no end. I have to reboot my phone to make it stop ringing. Cox says its not compatible with S10 notifications.
The interface is simple enough, but one issue kills the experience. Once I'm on a call, I can't get the screen to turn on. This means that the only way to end a voicemail is to restart my phone. Pretty frustrating, especially when leaving messages to clients.
Constantly crashing when trying to make outgoing calls. Takes a while to get on-line. No voicemail notification like the iOS version. If it weren't so handy when travelling to receive calls, I would be rid of it.
App keeps disconnecting me leaving me with multiple missed calls. With that I could just not use the app and check my voicemails manually from my cell. Have tried many resolutions but unless you obsessively check, it will turn you off.
App no longer shows option to answer calls without having to pull down the notification bar. It use to work on Android 9 but does not show option to answer without having to pull down notification bar on Android 10
This app would have been state-of-the-art 10 years ago, and that's probably the last time it was updated. It's flaky, unreliable, and the UI looks like a high school student designed it.
This is a horrible solution tio working at home! My frustration level rises each time I have to unload and reload the app because it hangs up on EVERY call that comes into my office!!!
Very unfortunate. I either get ghost calls(rings and I can't answer), dropped calls, or people telling me we have a bad connection. I have to make calls literally 8hrs I need this to work as I work remotely and I can't use my cell, most west coast companies will not answer east coast numbers because they think it's a spam call
The app doesn't always show the call answer/decline screen when someone calls very frustrating!
Crashes constantly. Wont even open half the time. For a communication company its pretty pathetic.
Its terrible to remove the app every week and reinstall it just so I can continue to use it.
Does not work I have to keep the app open at all times for it to work correctly it's pointless to use it
Does not always register calls. Yet miss calls logging call which are never received.
This app does not work and shouldn't be offered at all. This had made us look for another business phone provider.
Worst app ever... anyone knows if we can set up COX on a 3rd party app? Wish my company didn't switch over.
Doesn't come through on lock screen so I can't answer the call.
Im always having issies with incoming calls and sometimes ot wont let mw log in
Barely functioning. For such a big company, this is a total disaster. Needs to be redone from scratch
Cant get the app to open
Very bad! want open to answer call!
Darn thing won't even let me login to my account
I cant get in half the time
I can't even log into my account.
This app barely works. It closes itself every 15 minutes, except when I am at the office where my actual phone is (read - when I don't need it). Call quality is poor-fair at best and consistently drops calls regardless of whether you're on wifi or LTE. If it's not a necessity, don't use this app. You'll constantly be worried you are missing call (which is generally true) because of its inadequate construction.
Enjoy the app, I am out of the office most of the time anymore for what I do. This app allows me to make and receive calls as if I was in the office. Super convenient.
Works most of the time, but I need it to work all of the time. The app won't let me log in (I can log in on the website so I know I'm using the correct password)
Can't even login. Yes my info is correct I can login on my laptop & any internet just fine
The app works fine for the most part. As long as I have a strong cellphone signal, calls are clear and audio quality is good. But I hate using it because it won't shut down unless I go into app settings and force close it. Whose stupid idea was it to develop an app that can't be turned off?? Also, points off for the crappy and counterintuitive UI. You're a big modern company, Cox. Fix this damn app so it's easy to turn on AND Off and give us a simple, clean UI.
