This app will ask your permission for some things when you install it. Here's what those permissions mean, in plain English:
Full Internet access: You'll need to have access to the Internet to view and reply in the forums. Makes sense.
Read phone state and identity: Google says this allows the app to know when a phone call is coming in. That way, the app can pause itself and let you answer the call. We're not using your identity for anything; these two permissions are bundled together.
Modify/delete USB and SD card contents: When you see a picture posted in the AC Forums via the app, it needs to store it on your internal storage or SD card. Again, makes sense.
Prevent device from sleeping: When a notification is received (you can set those up in the app settings), the app will need to wake the device up so it can deliver it. (Yeah, it sounds a little backward.)
Control vibrator: Needed for notifications, so you can have your phone or tablet vibrate. Sounds a little dirty, though.
View network state/Wifi state: Because the app requires you to have a network connection, it needs to be able to *know
* that you have a network connection. If you don't, it will tell you.
Automatically start at boot: The app will notify you about private messages and replies to subscribed topics. Without this permission, you would need to restart the app yourself each time you restart your phone to continue to get notifications.

Major improvement over the previous version! I would like to see Red LED light notification option and BlackBerry Hub integration. Also, scrolling isn't as smooth as it used to be.

Just use a browser to see your notifications. Opening this pile of garbage just presents me with a blank page.

Love it, but it's sad that BlackBerry is not BlackBerry anymore. It's TCL... you can have the BlackBerry apps on any Android phone. Long live BB10!

I can not login to my account
Periodically it logs me out, won't accept my login and the forums won't load. I'm going back to the CrackBerry app for now until something changes. An update maybe? Update: haven't had the above mentioned issue any more, but the latest update has some bugs: "Blogs" hasn't had anything in there since the update and periodically, clicking on a particular thread is unresponsive until I close and then reopen the app. Wish there was an option to UNDO an update.
Always keep reloading after not using it for a while. Have to close the app and reopen it again. This is bit annoying. Please try to investigate the issue.
Glad I found this. The full CrackBerry app with its own forum section was terrible. This is much better.
I was having errors with nothing showing up , cleared data and now I can't do anything ! I open the app ,few seconds and it closes

Scrolling down with a space bar works very rarely, can you fix please.

This is sad. App let me fix password and log in, but i deleted it bc all new posts are buried away in many folders and subfolders, you have probably got more folders than posts now. So I went back to browser method and it doesn't know me there.
