I used to love this app and read it daily. Now images don't load, captions overlap, and you have to reload an article multiple times to get it to actually show up. It seems like the site has just given up on its app as this has gone on for months. Edit: For the past few days the app loads to a black screen with an error message that there's no internet connection. Despite this, the ads are loading fine. This app is completely broken.

Like many others, I've enjoyed reading Cracked articles. I also mostly ignored the fact that images usually didn't load, and would view the article via browser if I was interested in the photos. However, the app doesn't work at all now. It says there is no internet connection which I know is wrong for my end of things. I know they won't bother fixing it as they couldn't be bothered to fix the pictures loading. It's a shame.

Over the years, I've ignored the fact that the images didnt load. If I was that interested, I'd just go to the actual website. Annoying but not a deal breaker. But now the App doesnt even work...It doesnt seem like they plan on fixing things since the image issue has been a problem for a LONG time. Perhaps they've just given up. Edit * now the website is barely functional as the cycle of adware just keeps flipping you to a new page no matter what you do. Super disappointed.

I love reading the articles and having an easy to access app where I can do that from. But I had to rate it the way I did because it's been several years and the bug wherein half the pictures on each article fail to actually load no matter how much you try to refresh, some articles fail to load altogether, and any caption beneath the pictures is always bunched up so you cant even read it. I dunno, 8 figured these were gonna be issues that would get fixed pretty quickly when they first popped up, but it's actually been years and nothing has been done. So I dunno.

I used to really enjoy this app, but the last several weeks I've been getting the "no connection to the internet" error that some others have mentioned. It makes the app completely unusable. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and I tried updating my phone's software, but so far nothing I've done has fixed the problem. I tried emailing the developer, but received an error message telling me the email address doesn't exist. Maybe a 1 star review will get noticed. I wish I could give it more.

Well, I've had this app for years, and would regularly read articles, but about six months ago the captions on pictures started loading on top of themselves. That was annoying, but I could deal with it. Last week, however, the app just broke. No matter the connection type (wifi, data, dial-up, carrier pigeon, etc.) the app just declares that nothing can be loaded due to no internet. Reinstalling has been tried to no avail. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This nothing to do with the site itself I love the content Cracked puts out, but the app is absolutely terrible. I've long since given up being able to see pictures in the app, and as of several months ago I've even noticed many of the entries are unreadable due to the title of the heading bleeding into the lines. now however at least for the last two weeks I have been unable to read anything using the app because it says I am not connected to the internet which just isn't true. Support the App!!

Like many of the other reviews here, I have enjoyed this app for years even though pictures and text have been glitchy for over a year. But over the last few months its been totally unusable saying there's no Internet connection. I've removed and reinstalled it two or three times but still nothing. I miss being able to quickly read an article on the app when I have downtime, the website just isn't as easy to use. I hope they resolve this problem soon.

Is anyone even maintaining the app? The lack of photos and garbled captions (which have been an issue for over a year) are one thing... For the last few days, all I get is a black screen no matter which tab I'm on. Can't find Flashback or my bookmarked articles on the site, and since I'm uninstalling the app today (tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail), I guess I've lost those. Too bad. Content isn't as great as before, but still enjoyable. The app is atrocious, though. Unusable.

Alright. I have been a loyal fan of cracked, for years. I love this site and I used to love the app. However nowadays, I never get to see any pictures. Sometimes articles won't open, other times it opens to a white screen with a black test of the article name..and nothing else. This has been beyond irritating! It's not my phone seeing as I've had this problem thru four phones and a tablet and they ALL do this. And come on guys last app update was almost a year ago? We want to read your content and use your app but that's not really possible of the app is so buggy!

I liked being able to read without the browser, but the app hasn't functioned in weeks. It just says "there is no internet connection." Before the update rendering it completely useless the photos still wouldn't load (Samsung galaxy) and the photo captions were smashed into one line, but at least you could read most of the articles.

I downloaded this app about two years ago and it's never worked right. First, most of the pictures never load, even if my signal is great or I am on wifi. Second, the article titles sometimes are formatted weird and overlap with the paragraph text. Third, within the past week, my app wont even load articles, it just shows the menu and a black background. This app has far too many issues.

For a year and a half I've put up with the pictures not loading, the captions running together, and (recently) the titles running down the page large and bold. I even sent cracked an email asking when the app would be fixed (which they never replied to btw). A few days ago the app stopped loading all together so I think it's finally time to give up. I've been reading cracked for over 10 years but the lack of interest the site has shown in its readers over the last year has really turned me off.

The app doesn't even load anymore, just says it cannot detect an internet connection. I'm sat next to my router. Uninstalled, reinstalled, but still nothing. It was then I noticed the app hasn't been updated since 2017. Cracked, update your app and fix some bugs! I used and enjoyed this app for at least six years, but until they sort this bug, don't bother.

I used to use this app daily, I got passed the pictures not loading because it'd had that problem for so long. However for the past month or so nothing will load at all, I just get a black screen with the dropdown menu where all options lead to the same black screen. It says "no internet connection was detected." Clearly no one has bothered to check on the app to make sure its still functional since in the store it says last updated November 2017, I have no hope it'll be fixed anytime soon.

It has now completely stopped working. Before the issues were images not loading and captions overlapping. Now it doesn't work at all. Can't view any articles, all that loads are the ads. Emailed support, email address has 'permanent fatal errors'. I didn't have any issues back when I had an iPhone. Clearly Cracked doesn't care about Android users. Very disappointing. ☹️☹️☹️

I like to read Cracked as I wind down for the evening. However, especially recently, it's informed me "no internet found" as I'm opening the app, so it's unable to load (despite having no issues with other apps congruently). As others have said, captions overlap and photos don't load in the articles, which has left me resorting to reading it on the mobile website. I liked the app for the functionality and especially the Flashback feature. Now it's basically useless on my phone.

Adding my voice - app will frequently not recognize the internet connection, load pictures, or format correctly. List titles will be very large and overlap the body text, and picture captions will overlap themselves. Sometimes after a picture, the body text will be the same size as the caption text. Sometimes an article will only load the title. I hope they can hire someone to tweak the problems back into shape.

I used to love this app, it was great. then after an update not all the pictures in the articles would load, which wasn't that big a nuisance, but just a few weeks ago it quit working, Any time you try to load the app it just says no internet connection. I do hope you fix that because I enjoyed reading the articles and the picture contests.

I love browsing the content, but the app wasn't great, and now no longer works at all. It never loaded all the images in articles. Now it just pops up a message that it doesn't have a connection to the internet. My phone clearly has connection, and all of my other apps work fine. Not sure if an update ruined it? It better be fixed soon before my addiction is gone...

The app is terrible. Pictures hardly ever load, captions under said pictures are mashed together, and the most recent issue is sub-titles showing up vertically right on top of the article's main text. There isn't even a search function as far as I can tell. Love the content Cracked makes, its just too bad the app is such garbage. Edit: one star now. App has been broken and won't load for at least a week now so guess that's it for that

Last update in 2017 says it all. I used to love this app and the accessibility that it gave me to Cracked content. Over the past year or so, however, consistent loss off content (pictures not loading, broken headers, broken picture flavor text, etc) have finally given way to a completely app breaking glitch. I have a Galaxy S8+, and now my app simply displays no content and says that it detects no internet connection. It does, however, have enough connection to display ads.

I used to use this app a lot. it had some glitches in recent updates (photos didnt all load, sometimes titles flowed over other text). Recently there was an update and it no longer connects to cellular data. Since I had installed it for my commute to and from work, this new glitch makes it effectively useless to me. if they fix the problem I will gladly consider reviewing it more favorably... previous versions would have gotten 3 or 4 stars, depending how far you go back.

Come on guys love this app, bit you've got to get your act together and straighten some things out. Pixel 2 XL and this app hasn't worked for a while now. When I open the app i get a message saying it has no internet connection. This seems to be a very common complaint. I've even tried reinstalling the app, however it didn't have any effect on the issue. Also I tried to contact support with the available email address only for it to be returned with the message that the address didn't exist.

literally wont work on my phone. previous versions, they had the usual problem with photos not appearing and font of the article not showing up. but I got a new phone, the Samsung Galaxy 10, and now it just says no internet detected, no matter what I do. I have zero issue with the apps I use, they all connect fine, and yet time after time this app continues to be worse and worse, until this. I'm pretty upset too because I genuinely liked this before it had these issues. Get to work guys.

To mirror most of the reviews on here, the content is great, when the app actually loads it. Images don't appear, and the text overlaps. Now to cap it off, the app routinely tells me I am not connected to the internet, and I cannot view anything. The banner advert at the bottom loads though, so the app must be doing something right...

generally functional with the exception of sometimes layering lines of text over each other and not showing pictures, but the app broke last night. all of a sudden nothing showed up because it couldnt detect an internet connection, whether I was using wifi or data. uninstalling and reinstalling didnt work to fix the problem. Ill just access the site from now on.

I am just done. I used to enjoy reading Cracked, but lately, this has been the buggiest, most problem ridden app imaginable. Photos don't load, if photos do load, captions are unintelligible. If I read more than 2 items, then they begin loading all wonky, so they aren't readable. Now the app is telling me I have no internet connection. I am currently on the WiFi at my house, sitting practically on top of the modem/router. I just streamed a movie, yet I have no internet? I'm sick of it.
