The app is okay, but there are some shortfalls to its feature set. You cannot place an order without signing in (which is called Guest mode); it features Glazed Fried Chicken Tenders, but not Fried Chicken Tenders, which are available when I am at the restaurant; and the app allows the user to order a sweet potato, even though the restaurant is out of them, and will charge you for it anyway. Otherwise, the app lets me order meals for pickup and the staff are always nice at the store.

We have tried many times to get on the wait list by using the app. When we get to the restaurant, they either "don't do that" at our restaurant or even with our name in it's an hour wait, even though it didn't say that when we put our name in. Every once in a while it works, but mostly the restaurants don't work it well.

One of the worst food apps I've used. It doesn't stay logged into my account, I have to enter credentials everytime. If I select delivery it doesn't remember it if I go back to add items to cart and it doesn't remember my cc info. I know budgets and resources may be tight but you really to get a mobile overhaul project kicked-off soon. It took me 45 minutes to place an order this morning...absolutely unacceptable!

As far as this app goes. Are you kidding me??? I cant even place an order. Every time I make a selection and customize it, it says item no longer available. Until yall get this thing squared away, it is a complete waste of customers' time

Getting app error without even touching it. Tried ordering on website. No options for locations. We know there is a location in Horn Lake, MS, but it defaults to Nashville even though my location is on it claims to not have my location. Even after entering the zip code it doesn't locate any location. Even after manually entering the city and state as given for an option, it doesn't work. We've tried to order for 2 days. Not even the phone number works. What happened to the app, site and mgmt?

First, the app doesn't seem to allow the option to stay signed in. 2nd, it doesn't seem to allow the option to save credit card info so it has to be entered every single time. 3rd, the ASAP option ALWAYS gives an error asking that the time be specified. Why even have the ASAP option? If all that would get fixed, I'd rate the app higher. Also, need to allow for customization of an order such as adding lemon to tea.

It took 5 tries to get it to order. It's slow to respond. It doesn't save any information. If you add things to your cart, get to the end and it asks you to either sign in or continue as guest, if you sign in you'll lose everything in your cart until you try adding things to your cart, then it all appears again. The website isn't much better either.

No option to remove seasoning from fish. No option to add special instructions, which every smart app has, so I can put in for no seasoning (or anything else I might need). I think okay, I can handle a little seasoning even though I hate it. The fish comes out so seasoned it burns my eyes to even smell it. Waste of money, can't eat it. And when you try to pay for a dine-in meal using the app, it doesn't work. It has never worked once. Garbage app.

This app is atrocious. Orders don't process correctly, or have random errors attached that don't really indicate if an order has gone through or not. There's no notes sections to ask for special prep or order needs. Will be promptly deleting.

App does not work right. I have 2 items in my cart I bought months ago and I can't remove them and I can't add anything new to my cart neither because it tells me the item is not available. It kicks me out of the app every time I close it so I have to put my log in information in every time. So now I'm back to placing my orders over the phone since the app isn't working now and it's hard to get them to answer the phone too and when they do they seem to have a attitude or get your order wrong..

I'm of the belief that you shouldn't advertise features that don't work. The app and the phone audio recording report you can use the app to find wait times. The times are consistently wrong by double to quadruple the time. (App reports 5-10 mins, greeter says 30-45 and greeter is correct)

Worst app for ordering food. So clunky and frustrating! Difficult getting it to respond to adding/removing sides. It ended up ordering the wrong sides for me. I wanted carrots and mashed potatoes with gravy. It somehow ordered mashed potatoes & mashed potatoes with gravy. :-\ Does not keep track of your orders even when you're logged in. App had trouble letting me log in. Had to reinstall twice to get it to access account. I hate ordering online from Cracker Barrel.

One of the worst apps I've ever used. Most of the time won't even load the menu. Get halfway through an order and it locks up so you have start over. Complete waste of time.

Bank keeps rejecting card as "invalid transaction - declined". Tonight made the second and last time that will happen as I will be uninstalling this app. For all I know these "card declines" may be erroneously affecting my credit! No thanks... Oh, the same card worked just fine for three purchases in their gift shop before and after this tabletop experience.

QR Codes Bad. The app won't read them. I just get a view from the camera. No buttons to press. No recognizing the qr code. It's like they don't want us to pay online.

Why can I not pay with a gift card? I downloaded the app only for the purpose of ordering with a gift card that I had, but that isn't an option. It works as a glorified menu display only, I still have to walk inside the store to order

Update 2/13/22 Now every time I try to order I get a pop-up telling me that it's no longer available. Doesn't say what is no longer available. I've tried ordering several different entrees and get the same error message. This is really pathetic, Cracker Barrel. It can't be that hard to make your app work properly. And no updates are available, so that's not the problem.

It's been a year and this app still won't accept my payments to pay at the table for my meal. One card says general decline and the other says insufficient funds. I assure you, there are plenty of funds. Why can't I find anyone to contact about this. I ask at the stores and nobody has an answer. This app use to work all the time. What happened???

Cannot pay on app. The app does not accept the "Y" button input when typing in the receipt code, which my receipt code started with. I'm fine with paying with the cashiers, but such a simple feature should have been figured out by now.

Bad sad bad app. Use the website or something other than this app its so bad. You will spend more time trying to figure out that it worked than this app is supposed to save let alone finding anything on it without it telling you it's not available for 90% of the menu. Just don't download it. I promise. It will be better this way.

I use the dine in pay all the time. It makes it nice to skip the line and just walk out. The only problem I have is anytime my receipt code has the letter Y in it, the app will mot accept the letter Y when I type it. I've tried changing keyboards, reinstalling the app, nothing, it will not accept a letter Y.

Worst restaurant app ever!! I kept giving me an error at checkout. I called the restaurant and was hung up on multiple times. I finally gave up and just had dinner somewhere else.

I had no trouble with the app, while it's far from intuitive, it worked fine for me, I paid with gpay, and the final screen wanted me to take a screenshot as reciept verification, which honestly seemed ridiculous. However, I didn't have to give an email, or sign up for anything, so that was good. If there was a sign up, this app would've been 3 stars.

The app is a bit wonky and not very intuitive. Entering my credit card data was easy until the final "next" button. But it doesn't change the screen afterwords. When I completed the payment process through the app, it did not provide a confirmation of payment, and there was no email or text message to confirm payment. Had to ask the cashier to check if the payment actually went through. Kind of negates the benefit of using the app to pay instead of just paying the cashier.

The app is wonderful and the restaurant has never let us down. However, browsing the menu is a bit trivial. The food options that I'm looking for are under categories that don't make since. It would be very helpful when looking for new items if there was a search button that we could type in what we were looking for when trying to find a new option.

The app is bloated and poorly designed and optimized. It does not work well. We're efficiently. It does not accept proper text input (it only accepts lower case letters in some places and will only accept certain upper case letters in others). It also does not allow you to pay for your meal well. It often fails while paying and does not give you a confirmation of whether or not you paid. In those cases you then still have to go to the cashier, which negates the entire purpose of the app.
