Good concept but lacks functionality. It didn't detect an obvious white eye in a bunch of photos. When I live scanned my daughter's eyes, it came up normal but dropped the pics in the suspicious folder. When I would try click the pic to see the issue, the app started crashing 🤦♀️The pics also show they were taken Dec 31st 1969 which makes absolutely no sense since the photos in my camera are recent and the live scans were just done.
I could give it a 5 star but when I open it it goes through explaining then crashes everytime, any suggestions would help cause I'm needing to do this for my 8 year old who suddenly lost vision for few minutes then regained it back Dr's are trying to figure things out but told me about this app. Please see what I can do to correctly run this app
Did not find the very obvious glow in my son's eye, great concept though. I downloaded it to test it out on the pictures from before my son had his eye removed and it missed all of the very clear examples and flagged one that was taken with the front facing camera, is blurry, and was taken in front of a window which could explain the slight amount of white in his pupil.
Easy to use but fails to send photo to you by email. It came up with marked photo. Asked me to supply email address then upload fails. Went for opticians test and referred to specialist at hospital saying back of his eyes look healthy , but need to look at what is causing his problems. Umm not sure what that supposed to mean. So now we wait.
Just downloaded the app., haven't tested it yet. But in the introduction part at the start of App, Amblyopia, Strabismus and Refractive error are mentioned as common causes of Leukocoria. These aren't common causes but are consequences of Leukocoria. Common causes are cataract, retinoblastoma, Coats disease, persistent hyperplastic primary vitreous to name a few.
A good idea, but very bad app, crushing every minute, showing pictures of every person on photos as suspicious (20 person of 25).
This app is just the worse . I tried it, it scanned all my pictures and it detected 1 picture and it was a picture of the letter ''a'' . Dont waste your time . Good idea for an app but not a good app overall
As an optometrist I can say that, while not fool proof, this app could save your child's life! It's not a replacement for an eye exam but it's a great screening tool.
Great app for early detection of leucocoria. does not replace a medical consultation .
Downloaded it and the application opened up started thru a few questions then the application constantly stopped
Crashes every time after it scanned the first 1000 pictures
Wants to gather way too much personal information
Confused to know if it scanned all my pics

It didn't detect anything so I Googled images and found pictures of diagnosed children. I saved them to my phone scanned them and it only detected 2 of the 5 images to be white eye yet they all were. Scanned all my photos of all my children and my youngest it detected it in one eye on a photo but not the other. Then on the other on a different photo but not the first one it detected. It did this on at least 6 different ones changing eyes Then found one on child I was worried about I don't trust this app
My granddaughter has Retinoblastoma, picked it up in the clear face front on photos but not on the other ones that I know that white glimmer is there. Suggest taking a few close up photos with flash on & try the app again. Always go to the doctor if you think something is wrong keep annoying them until you are happy with a diagnosis. :)
I put in a very clear photo of my 4 month old son who does have RB. This is a front facing photo I used to raise awareness. Very plain to see by the eye. Your app said no white was found. Would love to share this with the world but I just do it until it actually works to save eyes. Update: when taking new photos this app picks up the white eye right away. Everyone should have this.
I have tried to upload a few photos but it says no Internet connection. I have Internet connection. I really would like for someone to tell me how to fix the problem because I have 2 children that this app detects white eye on. It always detects on the same eye and never deviates from them.
My daughter has retinoblastoma which causes leukocoria.yet this app wont pick it up in a photo that clearly shows her with a white pupil ...needs more work guys .if a phone camera can pick it up this app should be able to without a problem
I have downloaded this APP, but it start scanning all of my pictures on my Phone, which defianately I don't like. The data can be shared and I don't like this concept. The APp developers should allow the option to scan any specific folder or few pictures. Also in order to get complete scan you have to keep your App open and soon you switch or open any other app it stopped working. I had to delete / uninstall this App. This might be a great APP but I was unable to testify the same.
