Really really fun game! Still has some bugs, like buildings vanish when you try to place them somewhere else or a bakery suddenly turns into a normal house. But the game is very addicting and I definitely recommend it! Something I'd like to see fixed is that if you place a building somewhere else without changing it's shape it shouldn't cost money. And sometimes when you're zooming around the map you inadvertently place a building somewhere.
Edit: lots of glitches. Logged on and towns are messed up. Walls are back and running through my built buildings. Also, I wish there was more to it, like town decorating we could do, and accomplishments that we get rewards that where permanent if we accomplish things. Another downfall of the game is the extremely long times for transferring items from town to town.if there was no videos to erase those, I would not play this game. I did love the concept though. Just needs a lot of work
Amazing game. I love every aspect of it. I origionally had some bugs, but i uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It was annoying to restart all my progress, but i'd rather that than not be able to play the game. Do get. Five stars. (Hey devs, can you make rewards for the quests and make more of them? That would really enhance gameplay.) Sincerely, me.
I recently installed this game. Then, more recently, I uninstalled this game. Ads ever time I switch "towns", ads every time I collect from the boats(intentional?), and most frustrating, for me having my OCD, I can't make buildings the way I want them. Instead of a nice, smooth castle wall, I get 3 doors at random points with windows every so often. I seen this in an ad and wanted it, but it wasn't all that it seemed. Very disappointed. 😢
Could be awesome it's a great concept and the art style is beautiful but it's just to glitchy and laggy. I think if you fix some of the bugs and try to fix the frame rate issues this game would be great. Edit I just ran into the bug where you boot up the game and all you see is a black screen but the music still plays. If they can fix this problem then this would be a five star game. Edit number 2 this game has been abandoned at this point there has been no updates no bug fixes and no support.
Only just started playing this game but it's interesting and I want to see where it leads. Hate the forced ads but would happily pay 99p to remove them. But love that you can speed up the cart by watching an ad if you don't want to wait hours. Since the update I can't get the game to open properly! The game wouldn't load at all. So I uninstalled it and installed it again. It loaded up this time but I had paid 99p for the starter pack and this had disappeared for the new install!
Really enjoying this, however I'd like some new buildings, maybe some entertainment ones, and scenery, and I also think it would look fantastic with a night time mode, different weather simulations, and seasonal items such as Christmas and halloween. But it's an extremely addictive game and I love playing it. I love how you can make the buildings any shape 👍👍👍
The concept is very cool, however there are a lot of game mechanic breaking bugs which literally destroys your progress (deleting your buildings when placing on an invalid position or an add popup while dragging a building, deleting it as well) Also noticed any production stops when dragging a new building into the map, resulting actually getting the resources from that building you're holding, while even haven't paid for it... Quite a lot of bugs, making the game bothersome to play.
Love the concept and I love the graphics. However, the game is designed around forcing you to subscribe to the "premium" service to make the game more enjoyable. It feels designed to be an idle clicker game, but the tools that make clicker and idle games fun is locked behind copious amounts of ads and pay walls.
Works for me nowadays pretty well, would like to see an option to switch between building and simply panning the screen as I accidentally move pieces I don't want to or add one and when you've got large cities built its hard to catch what happened. Other than that I'd say this is a slam dunk. Maybe add a few more stylings like you did with the Roman one but go Viking and Eastern Asia styles? Perhaps even go fantasy and add dwarves and elf cities.
There's no depth to it. You build what they want you to when they want you to. There's no easy way to cancel the current action, so you have to drag the buildings everywhere just to see their prices. This leads to lots of instances where the game character pops up and buildings being misplaced without a way to move them ever again.
Played it on my phone, worst, mistake, EVER!!! The creators have not released anything new. Unless you pay real money you literally will spend a week (If not longer) ONLY gathering coin\wood\food. There is only a small playable area on each of the MAYBE three maps (you can see the other maps, but can not play on them unless you spend real money). You are forced to only build the buildings they want you to build and when. The ONLY thing i like about this game is the look of the buildings.
its a good strategy instead of popping up ads, you found a way to force us to watch it, its ok, you have a good game, but i think it bothers me when my buildings keep changing directions, i want it facing same direction that i want them to face wherever that is, and i like the buildings changes appearance but you know let me choose what kind, i think i need a game guide, cant find it
I like this game as long as you're patient with the beginning and walk away from it every so often for the first few days you can stack resources well. I want to pay the weekly fee but I'm nervous the game itself won't offer much more in the future. Unlocking the first three maps and developing them properly is a matter of when instead of how.. also you could pretty much spam ad through the entire game which makes you wonder if paying would even have much meaning, you'd cut back on 9 ads at most
This game runs very smoothly for a mobile game. I did not expect the ad that made me want to try it to play like the game, but it does. Unprompted ads are there (the ones that pop up without you asking for it that give you no bonuses), but generally infrequent enough to deal with.
Update....so I made a complaint the other day, regards a purchase. The next day I went on to find that my kingdom/city whatever, is millions of pounds in debt. The balance was dropping rapidly. I tried removing everything to start again, and found it was still millions of pounds in debt. I'm starting to think this game maybe a scam....I mean I don't see any responses to review, I certainly didn't get one before this update.
Hahahaha I just played for about an hour or two, and I could already built soooo many houses with an average income over 1 million per hour.... Choosing a house style is the biggest challenge. Get ready to get dizzy. Just wishing that there were various decorations that we could purchase. Like trees, flowers, fences, etc.
I put a lot of time into which way the doors face, how the building look. Each day I log on its generated differently. The cost and building goods supplied is not cheaper by combining them. The math doesnt add up. It cost too much. It's better to build single units all over. Pointless
Edit: Well, this game is basically watching ads. The grinding for resources gets ridiculous. Sending resources to other villages takes too much time. The premium doesn't fix the 'have to watch ads all the time to get anything done'. It looks nice, but you cannot carry a game on graphics alone.
I've always wanted a game like this and I finally have it, its REALLY good, the only problem I see is the controls, sometimes I accidentally put down a building or remove a part of a building which is annoying, I'll rate this 5 stars when that problem is solved and the game finished, Recommended
the game has a nice theme, great animation, simple yet outstanding. but i gave this app 1star because skipping a caravan i need to watch 5ads. i know this review will be gone unheeded or worst will not read at all. BUT can you fix the ads, i meant you can just put 1ad to skip the whole caravan.and the automatic collection, really? i need to watch an ads per city to get my buildings regularly collected? i love the game but if you do not fix this other developers will do it
Could be a fun game but the gameplay is not worth the amount of ads thrown at you. I would have rated it higher in the beginning, much higher... but then the gameplay dropped off and it seemed to force ads way too much. Sometimes 3 ads in a row or a forces ad every 5 seconds.
Cool concept filled with ads. No noticeable progress is noticed till you get prompted with ads after ads after ads which totally ruins the experience of what a strategy game should be. I even forgot why I was in the game after 15 mins of playing due to the ads which you can't avoid or else you are sruck with incredibly slow materials collection process. Alas, waste of a game.
Idk. Couldn't experience it. Couldn't get past the "build a second story" in the tutorial. The game stops itself to show you how to do it and I didnt have enough money to continue the tutorial. Wouldnt let me cancel tutorial at that point. Uninstalled and reinstalled...same thing.
Game glitched and I have to reinstall the game and it seems like it stuck on the loading screen. Music can be heard in the background and the screen is unresponsive. I've paid for the add free which is awesome but not I can get it to work.
Personally, ion like it.. At first it lit! But then after like the third level or whatever you wanna call it it startded freeze my phone.. And when i tried to update it nothing got better.. Gameplay i thought was pretty cool controls were lil glitchy for me tho.. The graphics were pleasing to the eyes.. Its a fun game but it just dont run to smooth..
Great game! But, it has a long way to go. It also needs new kind of buildings, barns to store food, treasures to store gold and etc. It would be great if we could zoom out and see the city from above, and remove that coin, bread, wood icons from buildings. That's all.
Had a lot of bugs. My game keeps crashing and ally buildings disappeared. I don't know why but when I came back to check all the buildings on my island were gone! Also it has bugs on merging buildings. It allows other types of buildings to merge out of nowhere. It's a nice game but technically very flawed. Hope they fix it
