Crane Connect

I have deleted the app and thrown away the product (speed and cadence sensor). The product is almost impossible to fit to my bike to their spec (sensor 2mm from magnets). Then, trying to register via the app is beyond frustrating - despite numerous password reset attempts (I am not stupid) I gave up trying to register. Avoid like the plague. I have binned everything. Will never touch a Crane product again.

I have the analogue watch that connects to the Crane Connect app. There are significant layout problems such that the words do not fit the display area and the data is not checked. Seems like it was a first attempt at software. As it sort of works I'll give it one star. The bluetooth implmentation is the worst I have ever come across for dropping connection. The address is stored but will not reconnect without rebooting the watch.

Useless. Simply doesn't pair with their own device. Requires no end of permission to invade my privacy. Not happy Finally got it to pair I found it confusing and was not in the correct "All settings" area. I've tested it with the Speed and Cadence sensor on my turbo bike and it works fine The next challenge - how to export data to Strava. The packaging claims it can do this but cannot find any mention of it beyond that.

*** AVOID THIS APP *** This is the second time I have used this app. First time was with a Cranesports running GPS watch. The watch was great, but I had to change to a different watch and app because this app was so utterly useless and incompatible with practically everything. The website is also a complete waste of time too. After updates features don't work and functions are removed and data is reported incorrectly. Did I mention that important activities were mysteriously deleted from the site and app after being uploaded. Also, customer support is non existant. That was a few years ago, so when I bought the new speed & cadence sensor I was hoping for some improvements. I was disappointed, it is still exactly the same useless piece of software that it was previously. No improvements or development whatsoever. I was also duped by claims on the packaging that it is compatible with Strava. It is not! So I will be taking it back to the shop for full refund tomorrow and will avoid all Crane Sports devices in the future, as I would advise everybody to.

Rubbish , now the clocks have gone back I have no way to connect to my watch from my phone and the app won't let me connect to it , it used to be a pain to get it to connect but it was possible after a lot of work but now , no it's impossible , yes I synced it properly , no I didn't connect it using the phones app for bluetooth and weirdly when you try to connect using the app it switches off my wifi instead !?! Random

I used it for YEARS.... Now can't get any data to transfer to new phone. Only new data. NO customer support at all-- nothing. Very frustrated.

Crashes all the time, won't sync, I don't think they have updated their software in years. I wish I could add a negative review!!! On average the app crashes over250 times a day, it high time Crane sorted this out, I have all of their equipment and its totally worthless as I can't record any readings on the useless app.

Just loaded app after some years away. The app was only just satisfactory before but now it looks like it was designed by a 3 year old. Crane logo overlays data field and menu tab obscures big chunk of screen. Data fields extend beyond white background. Data is there but screen presentation in either orientation extends beyond screen field of view and will not resize. Awful awful awful.

App is supposed to replace website access but can't download gpx files any more. That was the most useful thing about it.

Useless until you can register. The registration process has never sent me confirmation that it worked. Tried re-registering but it says the account is registered. Try to log in and it says the password is wrong. Click forgotten password and.... nothing. Complete waste of time and money. Will be taking the cadence sensor back for a refund.

I saw already a lot of crappy application, but from ALDI I was expecting more than this. The app and the scale was connected only 3 days and since nothing. I tried to uninstall and hard reset, but nothing. Hope it will be fixed soon, because like this it is useless and you can buy a simple scale for much less money. Like this it is just a waste of money

Who ever made this is a complete idiot. The application is too complicated,registering doesn't work,a message to your e-mail is never sent. Simply Terrible! If you want to connect to a crane watch,I'd recommend going to Zeroner. It works and Is much less complicated!

This app was fantastic up until the latest patch. After christmas I had to delete and reinstall as it refused to pair with the watch. This fixed the problem until end February when even after reinstalling will not pair with the watch at all. I am really disappointed and will be purchasing another brand.

Update installed 11.07.2020 what has happened, now the app is constantly finding, connecting, and synchronising, each notification accompanied by the phones default sound and happening every 10 seconds or so, CONSTANTLY. Will now uninstall the update and hopefully this will be fixed ASAP.

Pointless me adding yet another 1 star review, but just like other users it is impossible to register a new account. While I do get a registration email from Crane (it appears in your spam folder), there are no clickable links in the email to confirm the account registration. My bike cadence meter is completely useless without the app working!

Completely useless. It simply won't connect with the Bluetooth scales: it just says "no device found". Of course, this means the scales are no better than any basic set of scales.

if you've got to this point its probably too far and you've bought hardware that needs this app. so far, not good I've been waiting hours for registration. can even use the the app or hardware until I receive the email. hope it works when its sorted. sadly most of the reviews say the same.

If there were an option for no star, i would have chosen it. The app is useless. It does not connect, and you have to allow it to use your camera, contacts ... etc. Really miserable!

After registration, I don't get the confirmation email. I cannot log in, I cannot use the app, so I just had bought an expensive scale for nothing. I have already contacted the support (more times, in english and in german as well), but no avail.

Cannot connect to any product! They removed the option. In Bluetooth it sees the scale and says to use the app to connect but the app does not have an option to connect.

I only downloaded this app because my scale one day out of the blue decided it was living in Europe and started measuring in kg. The instructions said the only way to switch measurements is thru the app. But the app cannot connect with my scale. So this is a fail. I'm not learning kg, so my scale is now useless and so is this app. It also asks too many permissions.

Will not work without registration. Registered, sent info and e-mail address. No reply. This is my second cadence sensor for a different bike. Until they send confirmation, I can't calibrate the second sensor for my other bike. I can't seem to be able to add another sensor to my original account so I registered again with a different address. Very little info on the web site. The cadence sensor works OK but the App registration system is rubbish.

This application is a SHAME. Never worked on my mobile even when I has access by Laptop but without possibilities to sync. I've only stupid balance. I imagine what is doing with watch.

Same as for others. The BT wont connect. I guess the scale itself was working fine, but since it was not possible to connect I returned the product...
