From an old silent service Commodore 64 player from back in the day... I've got to say.. this cures the craving! I think the game has been very well put together I love all the sounds and the graphics are fantastic. Would be super excited to see any add-ons in the future I'll support!
They must fix the bug which the ships colide with each other when search for your boat. And the destroyer are too fast, which isn't much realistic...and the moviments they do aren't much smooth. It could be fixed. It seems that the developers have forgotten the game, they don't update the game a while...
Excellent graphics. But could use some realism upgrades in game play Corvettes only had a 70 depth charge compliment but never run out during a very long engagement. They should run out then rejoin the convoy. Also running silent under the thermocline well away from a decoy doesn't always work even while depth charges are going off. Yet quite fun. Also enemy ships don't damage each other when they collide together, only with your sub. 🍃
its graphically excellent but maybe just a little too difficult for a casual game. the enemy destroyers just dont give up and are rather too good at handbrake turns for realism. if you have the time im sure its great but i still end up back on Atlantic fleet.
What a great game! No ads, in-app purchases or upgrades. No power-ups, level-ups, bases or bosses. No gems, coins or online store. In fact, no way to sink more money in even if you wanted to (nobody wants to) though there's plenty of sinking going on: corvettes, destroyers, carriers, battleships and helpless merchants. It's a rush seeing that futile SOS flare go up as a 35k ton steel juggernaut heads for the bottom by your hand. Most bang for my buck ever from the Play Store. Incredible!
Great game play, but....... Developer(s) need to do a serious update. 1. Flower class corvettes (and others) should not be able to push the much bigger ships around like tinker toys. Honestly, pushing around a carrier? Puhleeeeze. I can't even get a t class tanker to budge at 1 knot my speed without causing damage to the sub. Damage to the ship, nill. 2. If a ship is sinking, why can other ships pass through it but neither my torpedoes nor I can? This is most annoying; UPDATE!
Great starter sim. Realistic. Endless scenarios. No ingame pay stuff or ads at all. Just load and play, every time. I only wish I could use different subs and play different sides of the war.
Just done ist mission after tutorial, liking this game so far, not sure if I paid a small price for this one or black sea hunter, This ones looking best so far. Edit, the game is now not starting, keeps saying app has stopped and chucks me off.
How is it a depth charge can hit you from 100 yards away. Talk about the most random damage ever. A depth charge to 50 yards away from the bow causing aft tube damage, are ya kiding me. As well please, please tell me why the "F" I can't catch up to a ship going 12 knots when I'm going 19 knots. Please tell me updates are fixing the over 50 problems with this game. It's the same on all my devices. I can make a better game using turing from when I was 12 years old.
best phone Android game. play for hours to develop your own strategy. easy, medium or hard. this is a really well thought out game, based on German use of u boats in WWII. if you knew nothing about submarine warfare to start, you'll soon learn. great game
I love this game.ButI cannot figure out how to get it to save my scores and progress. I also wish they would make a version for the PC that does Not need steam. Steam mess up mycomputer.
Looking forward to cd 2 which looks more challenging. Update: please add upgrades like you did with CD2.
My absolute favorite submarine game. Excellent! Great graphics and game play. Best of all, with the full version, no annoying ads!
I've had this app for several years. I've moved it from tablet to tablet, it always entertaining. For my money (yes I've bought the paid version) it's the best phone/tablet sub sim out there.
Love this game used to play a very similar game on my computer called Silent Service. I have been looking for this game for years Thank you. My only suggestion would be to bring a clock to the screen do you can tell the time of day.
Seems really cool and good except it won't run passed the 1st screen unless I am connected to the Internet. How come? It's very annoying as I don't always have access to the Internet
Cool game, wish there was an option to sink axis ships. After recent update, the sea is now bright and shimmering day and night. It now looks stupid and Lame!😒
More games should be like this. Single purchase, play over again and enjoy. Would love a modern sub version next!
A fun, if unnerving Submarine, especially if you've seen Das Boot. It's simplistic, but effective in its presentation. Perhaps a little polishing is required in a few areas, especially when you complete the game on sim difficulty only for nothing to happen. Plus the game becomes very glitchie when time is sped up. Generally a good Submarine game, with plenty of action and tension, especially when evading retaliatory depth chargings.
