I'm so frustrated with this app. I cannot scan receipts with my Pixel 3 (although other barcode scanners work fine on the receipt). I have contacted support multiple times and nothing changes. They enter it for me manually into my account. At the very least there should be a way to manually add the barcode number instead of scanning it. I don't want to have to contact support every time for my points to be added.
**seeing that all the reviews left here are the same issue. It feels as though the company doesn't care about it's customers** I continue to have issues with scanning my receipts! I do not understand why there is only a scanning feature when we should have the option to manually enter the numeral code. I have lost out on so many points, as well as today with a triple points day. :( It's a shame as I like their food, but truly need to upkeep their rewards system if they are to have one at all.
UPDATE: changing from 1 to 4 stars. They FINALLY updated app to allow you to enter barcode to earn rewards given scanning feature hardly ever works. This is one of the worst apps I've ever used mostly due to the scanning feature for rewards - it hardly EVER works. Very frustrating. There should be a way to enter the numbers from a bar code - like most apps - instead of the usually useless scanning feature. Employees struggle with it as well.
Can't scan my receipts to get points. First time I downloaded and scanned receipt no problem. Every single time since it doesn't work. I sent pics to the email to get the points added but that is a pain and took 10 days to get a response. Since it appears everyone is having this issue you would think they would come up with a fix. I would hate to be the person who has to manually enter everyone's points on to their account!
I love eating at the restaurant. I installed the app to scan the receipt to get the points. The first two times on scanning for points worked. Lately, it has said receipt code is invalid twice. There should be a better way of scanning the receipt without having to contact customer support every time. It would help if the app was updated currently since it was last updated six months ago
This app worked great on my Samsung Galaxy S8, but when I switched to the Pixel 3a, it freezes every time I try to log in and I have to force stop it to close it. To date, I've received no responses to my requests for support from the developer. To make things worse, the support email address listed no longer works.
poor scanner, no option to manually input receipt code, can't scan at window before leaving. If you can't scan the app at the window, the scanner doesn't work, then there is no need to honor credits for complimentary rewards to customers. i suppose there is no need to be a customer either. its not like this place is getting so much traffic that they can't allow scans at the window.
After numerous attempts to tell local management about the app charging me for included sides (or when ordering online), the only answer I get is that they know but it's not fixed yet. This has been since December 2020. I rarely go here anymore because I can't order ahead without calling- IF they answer the phone. In addition, the order page is so clunky! If I get a text mid-order, it resets the whole thing! Please fix the incorrect upcharge. It feels real shady that you let it go this long.
Lots of info. Easy to scan receipt from in-store purchase and save points. Easy to redeem points. Big problem is I have ordered twice on-line for pick-up, points not automatically awarded, and receipt does not have bar code. They fix it when I fill out in-app form, but it is a pain to do each time.
I do not like this app. I repeatedly try to scan my receipts, but it never works - which obviously others have had the same issue. I've been to CSC several times and haven't gotten rewards because of this issue. You really need to fix the problem or start a different program that can actually work. Thanks!
its nearly impossible to get points because the scanner never works. love their food but it's too much of a hassle to be rewarded for spending my money there. will probably stop going there because of this. sounds silly, but its seriously frustrating when you cant use their rewards program as it should work. fix this app. way too many people with the same problem for this to continue to be ignored.
The scan feature literally NEVER works, so I can never get credit for the money that I spend, which is annoying. It's also not user-friendly to order directly from the app. When you try to click back during an order, it goes all the way to the beginning. CSC can learn a thing or two from Chick-fil-A's app. Take notes.
My experience has been a bit different than other reviews. I get my points to load and can scan them easily. My issue is that you cannot order kids meals on their app. That means I either have to call, which I personally won't do, or wait and order it there. The problem with that is I seriously could have just picked it up if the app had the kids meal options but they don't so I have to get out of the car with kids and wait. There is no reason not to have the kids meals available.
Tried to sign up but birthday set at 2009 and there is no way to adjust year except to manually move month/year back by moving each month/year individually in reverse to 1951. Not only takes too long but app is poorly designed and does not work properly. Too bad for Chicken Salad Chick as food looks good but not worth the aggravation from the app.
Trying to scan my receipt from this afternoon and it says code is expired. Also, every time I try to redeem points in the store, it never works. I have to wait for a manager to come over, which they can't ever figure out the issue. They end up writing down the code and doing a manual adjustment on my order.
I know folks are having problems, but this worked perfectly for me, so far. However, PLEASE rename the icon from "CSC". The logo isn't really recognizable yet, CSC is the name of a popular and ubiquitous laundry room app, and it's also associated with a call center. If I'm looking on my phone for my chicken salad chick app, among hundreds of apps, I shouldn't have to guess what cutesy name the icon was given. Please make this obvious like "chicken salad", so I don't overlook your app constantly.
This app leaves something to be desired. I can never scan the receipts to get my points and there is no option to enter manually. Also, I dislike that ordering online takes you to an outside browser instead. Not very user friendly.
I have been purchasing food since CSC opened in Pensacola. I have scanned numerous receipts and have only one time been able to redeem. I have spoken to three managers at least 3 times and they have never been able to resolve the problem. They always take my name and address and that's the end of it! Very disappointed in their customer service.
never could scann my receipt and now the app has issues. Can't even get on the app. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app and still doesn't work. Now since the upgrade I have lost all my points and had to start another one and now it has the wrong email address attached to it.
Love the restaurant, hate the app. I have tried the scan my receipt twice and never could get it to work. It finally took 4 employees to get my receipt to scan. So frustrating. I would be happy to enter the number by hand, if that was an option.
No trouble with scanning receipts on my Samsung Galaxy S10e! I would like to see a fix to easily and quickly delete messages without having to open the message, click on the trashcan and then confirm before it is deleted. Too many steps. Should be able to select all or some of the messages and tap a trashcan on the same screen to delete multiple messages at one time. Also, sometimes I receive the same message 3 times in one day! Once is enough. Thx! Love the food and the rewards program!
