1. Download the app and print the sample templates from the products page.

We purchased the the Crayola Funny Faces crazy costumes book and the $3.99 in app faces. The app does not work at all, I tried to scan from the book we purchased and all I get is a blue background in the app. It does not allow the lens from my devices to take a photo/scan. I tried 2 different Google pixel phones and my Samsung Galaxy Tap S7+ tablet with no luck. In the app it says it saves to a photo album on your device but when you look it's not there. very disappointed in Crayola. No Good!
Doesn't work. Like everyone else says, the app does not take pictures like it is supposed to. I bought the coloring books at the Dollar Tree thinking this would be a fun quarantine activity but the app has one unlocked funny face and no ability to unlock more with the book you paid for since the photo scanner does not work. You can pay $4 each to unlock more faces in the app, but since I already bought the books that don't work, that isn't going to happen. Good thing I am only out of $2.
Im so disappointed with this app... and I know many others had the same issues with the scanning feature per the reviews. A large company like Crayola should be able to get a simple creative app to function, esp when the cost to print all these coloring books should pay for the app developers. So now you have customers paying money for something that doesnt do as it says! Ive seen small developers create apps that were much better than this. I guess i have to photoshop these faces onto our pics
The ONLY reason I wasted money on these books was for the app. Which does not work. I tried the permission setting and its already set to allow. This is pointless. The camera to scan the books doesn't even open. I really want my money back. I can't return the books my children have already colored in them.
Doesn't work well at all. Could never get the scan feature to work. Couldn't select the x button to close things or the camera button. Needs a lot of work.
Scan function does not work, just as the other reviews say. Screen completely freezes.

App doesn't scan. My 8 year old was disappointed and nothing on it worked or saved. Horrible!!
I am an optimist so I gave it three stars. Obviously not for the game. I don't want to make it sound harsh but I really wished that we would be able to scan. The would be a fun experience. The book is fun though so I gave it three stars. If it gets any better I would be more than happy to give it a full five. Please fix the game. Good luck!
Scanning doesn't work. Glad I found the book at the dollar store. Sad the app wont actually scan. I have some disappointed kids that spent alot of time coloring

Works okay. However, it says photos are stored in Gallery, where is that? Because they are not on my phone.
Pretty messed up me and my kid colored the whole book a d went to do the pictures and the scanner wont work. What a let down :-(
If you try to scan the pictures you make in the book it won't open the camera. Useless.

Works better then expected. After reading some of the negative reviews I expected this app to not work at all. It actually works pretty well, it scans fine, some of the colors are more muted when scanned so maybe color harder? The picture and video recorders work as well.
