Crayola Virtual Fashion Show

We, like many others, had the issue with the black screen. As annoying as it is, there is a workaround. The app needs two permissions to be granted; camera and storage. While most apps will prompt you for it when you run the program the first time, there is a bug in this current version. After you install it go to your settings and the apps and permission section. Find the app, open its settings and click on permission, turn on the permissions and open the app. It should then work.

Good game, my daughter really likes it. We had the same black screen problem as many other users, but once we updated the permissions it worked perfectly. My only concern is the option for printing more design templates. The diagrams have grey backgrounds so it uses ALOT of ink to print. It would have been really easy for them to make it more printer friendly. Also, be sure to colour outside the lines a little, otherwise your designs will have grey on the sides.

A lot of reviews are negative which really confuses me. The app work okay, and the models arent that ugly. The one thing that gets me is how hard it is to scan things. The boxes on the app arent correctly lined up, specifically the top right one. If the the top right box was moved down just a little, it would be way easier to scan designs. Otherwise, a really amazing app!

Ive had this kit for TWO YEARS! I tried downloading it the first time and it wouldnt open so I finally redownloaded it and it finally worked after multiple attempts. The camera on the app won't focus half the time and the scanning is buggy. Sometimes the pattern gets off set and shows grey squares so I have to rescan a bunch of times. I wouldnt recomend to ANYONE with all of my issues and the ones down below.

This app is pretty good there some parts that I wish were a little better a few glitches or not very up-to-date things but to all those people who are trashing it because of the black screen don't throw away the app or your coloring book it's actually really good I'll show you how to fix it. First go into your settings and find the app. Then click permissions. After that allow camera and storage. Then go back into the app and it will load as it should. This app is a great activity for quarantine

Black screen very upset daughter, then read some of the reviews. One had a suggestion to get around it..and it worked. Little girl loves it!! Go to apps and permissions and click allow photos and storage, close the app and re open and BOOM works. Thanks for the help:)

If you are getting a black screen, its super easy to fix! Give the app permissions to your camera and storage. My only complaint about this app is that it's pretty difficult to scan your designs, but other than that it's a pretty good app.

App will not come up. Just pulls up a black screen. Very disappointed in this app Update: managed to get the app to pull up by going in my settings and changing the permissions but the code in the front of the book won't scan for my daughter to use it

This was given as a birthday gift, new. So excited, we started coloring while I downloaded the app. Ready to see it come alive, I opened the app to a BLACK SCREEN WITH NOTHING. I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice and looked for help online. Nothing. My child is so upset, as am I. This is a massive letdown from a company that specializes in child creativity and artmaking experiences. I hope your customer and tech service are top notch, as I intend to complain there too.

Fab! Me and my daughter love it. Make sure you allow the photos/storage setting for the app on your phone otherwise you will have the black screen xx

Wow. That's all I can say, and not in a positive way. First of all, the face is ugly. It looks like a 3D paper doll gone wrong. And the makeups look like the doctor messed up on the Avatar's plastic surgery. There is a very, very small selection of accessories, hairstyles, and hair colors, so changing anything is pointless. And the way the avatar wears the clothes you create is 🤢. I would rate this no stars if I could. This app is so bad. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!!

I just got the app and it does NOT work AT ALL it said to line it up with the squares?YEAH GUESS.WHAT THERE WAS NONE ,notta, zip, zero! So.. when I went to see when it was last updated it said MARCH 15, 2015! Hate the app but... You can always use the art stuff!

If i could I would rate this app a zero, when I opened the app it showed nothing at all but a black screen this app is useless I bought the kit for my daughter turned out it was completely useless so now I wasted my money on something that doesn't even work thanks crayola this was totally lots of fun staring at a black screen.

App does not work just a black screen on every device I have tried it on! Virtual design pro is extremely pointless without a working app. Is this ever going to be fixed? Of is my daughters birthday gift just fit for the bin

So I found the toy/art kit for this i kept searching then I realized Crayola prob changed the app wallpaper so I found this app it is the exact name so I downloaded it on her tablet I had to Uninstaller some of her games but she was fine with that anyways I clicked on the app and ... a black screen we waited .... for 5 minutes then I tried on my tablet same result... overall the intentions but since it was last updated a long time ago im not that upset anyways my lil sis was disappointed

Similar to everyone else, bought my daughter the kit for Christmas and the app shows black screen on start. Terrible show Crayola - you're letting a lot of kids down, please sort this out. 0 stars would be helpful here.

How does a large company like Crayola produce an app that doesn't work!!! This is disgraceful. Tried with multiple Android devices and all we get is a black screen. What a waste of time.

Adjust your settings! I read another review that said to give the app permission to camera and storage. Once I did that, the infamous black screen went away and it opened!

Doesn't work at all. When you open it it just has a black screen! Got my daughter the set for her birthday and she was so excited to see her designs come to life, but is now upset as it doesn't work! If I could give it 0 stars I would! Please fix this!

Just a Black screen. Tried on different devices and still doesn't work. I have a very disappointed daughter who was so excited about this app.

It doesn't even work ever time I tap on the game it's just a black screen fix it the kit is the only good thing about the app if you can even call it now.

It's just a black screen I'm mad and want you to fix it or stop selling a bad app. If anything the set is good but the app is the worst. And there just setting kids up for sadness so fix the app.

Downloaded a few months ago only got a black screen when opening. Waited a few months and redownload app and still nothing. App is a pile of hot garbage

Does not show anything. Just a black screen. We tried allowing permission, the screen is still black. Was a present for our daughter. Very disappointing.

App doesn't work on any recent versions of android. Code scanning function also doesnt work on the old android versions. Complete waste of money

I'm not sure what's wrong with the app the screen is just going black and whenever I go in there and going it if you just becoming black and then like just stays on my tablet when I get this is creeping me out a little

Alright, I tried to find the virtual car collection. Where is it? Please bring it back. I beg you crayola bring it back. In christmas i am getting the virtual car collection. But if the app is gone how am i gonna scan my cars and drive them?! Please bring it back. I am sad :( . Crayola, if you want to make my day. Please. Bring back car collection on new platforms. I beg.

It doesn't open, when I click on it, my whole screen goes black and stays solid black until I push my home key. (Samsung 8active)
