* Ad Free **--Crazy Eights is a shedding-type card game. The object of the game is to be the first to get rid of all the player's cards to a discard pile. The game is considered a pre-extension of Switch, Mau Mau and Uno, much favoured in schools during the 1970s.Also commonly referred to as 8s, the game has 3 basic action cards:
- 8's allow you to change suit, (can be placed on top of any card)
- 2's make the opponent pick up two, or can be stacked
- A's skip the opponents turn

Difficulty is great. But really wish it had an online play so I can beat some of the people I know who have this great game......
A fun classic game and simple interface, but I find the AI is just too good they always seem to keep from losing.
This game is way to fast. Doesn't give you a chance to look at what is in your hand before its showing you what you have to play. Needs to slow down and let us have a chance to think about what move we want to make.
Keeps freezing. Or doesn't even show up on the screen when I open it. By the way I do check to see if the problems are fixed so I can enjoy the game and give a better review, so why don't you fix the issue? Will try next month.
Ad free. Small. Bug free. Could do with being able to change more rules or multiplayer maby if I had to improve it.

I've played lots of other Crazy Eights games, but this is the best. Keep coming back to it. The rules are a little different than I'm used to, but it's not hard to adjust.
Very short games, but addictive. I would like to see the "hand" also use their 8's properly. And in true crazy 8's fashion, there are 8 cards being dealt. Overall, good game.
Love this game played with real deck also and can enjoy with the android version:)

But I'm use to the Js miss a turn! And continuous 2s would mean 8 cards would have to be picked up! 2 on 2 on 2 on 2.... means pick up 8! And AI never changes the suit when 8 is layed! Not that it really matters, just saying....

Your supposed to have 8 cards hence 'crazy eights'... Not 5 cards. And the Jack is supposed to skip a turn not the Ace...
I love Crazy Eights but it's more fun to play with four players, not just two. "G4A: Crazy Eights" is a much better game even though the cards have to be smaller since there are four players. I play it on my ThunderBolt and my Nexus 7. I'll be uninstalling this one and going back to G4A... I do, however, LOVE the fact that there are no permissions!!
Pretty cool game to play to pass time. But every now and again when it's time for me to start a new game, it freezes.
Make this thing match you up against live players, and you have yourself gold.

I won't lie, I saw the self promotion on The Verge but I decided to give the game a chance anyway. And I'm glad I did. Very great game, well designed, easy to learn, just neat and shaped up. Looks very good and is great to play.

This is a really fun, easy to play game! Brings back childhood memories:)
A lot of critics are claiming this to be the best card app ever made; they may well be right-to some degree. Even die-hard Crazy 8 fans will have to admit there's not many other apps who capture the raw essence of the game we all know and love.
You get a steady hand but the computer you play against doesn't.1 it has played the same exact card more than once per game...of course the computer gets two 8 of hearts to play 4 moves apart. Ugh. Then later I noticed it run out of clubs per its repeated draw until i change suits then suddenly it has not 1 but 2 clubs but had not drew since??? Annoying and not fair play. Don't get me wrong, I still win the majority of games despite mode but these flaws show the serious lopsided play stacked in the computers favor. Just not fair play. I also don't like that whenever it plays an 8 it stays whatever suit that 8 is which defeats the point...especially when it is going to play two 8 of hearts in the same game!!
This game is the best cars game I have ever played i'm my 12 years of playing online card games
I swear when you start off playing it's like it's in possible to win it's like the cards are set up for the computer to win...and it's not even a difficult game you change the setting and it go back to it's original settings
When a 2 is played, especially 2 of hearts or diamonds, it won't let any other card be played except another 2. I can't even play an 8 let alone something of the same suit. It's cost me to lose games.
