In the free app I'd play 9x9 and I'd memorize the game and play it every single time (I was playing at 4k)but the pro app has more variety. It tells me I'm about a 10k. I wish it was easier to analyze the games rather than saving it and backing out and loading it again. I would like when editing the game for it to just add a variation to the board or at least rewrite the sgf. Right now if I edit the board, when replaying the game it only goes back to the place I started editing. Thanks.

I really enjoyed using this app. I will soon be upgrading from my Galaxy 6 to an iPhone x. I wonder if I can just transfer the app over, or do I have to repurchase it?

Love it a lot, the only complaint I have is that I think the sound clip used when you place a stone is very aggressive. It'd be nice if it was a bit gentler.

The Best Go App on Android and worth paying for the stronger levels once you've got the hang of the game on the free version. Using a strong Go engine like CrazyStone is much better for learning.

There is a big bug. The app doesn't understand seki.

This my favorite Go app. Can't wait for CS Zero.

great game, well implemented

This was the strongest until AI engines inspired by AlphaGo Zero like Leela Zero were ported to Android. Even with 4 stones handicap, win rate of CS 5D is less than 50% against Katago which is available in free app BadukAI with no ads. This is still a decent app but it's not worth with high price tag anymore.

In the analyze mode delta move I notice that it was red. I have no idea why that one move showed up as red.

This might be one of the best android apps I've ever used. Amazing go program, really awesome analysis mode for reviewing sgf files, etc Love it. I know $16 seems like a lot for an android app, but soooo worth it.

Great app, in the analyze tool, it would be nice if it would show the CS best move in the mini-board. Thanks,

It will be better if the clock also show total time I used in the game

On lower levels it is really weak. I managed to beat it on 4k with no handicap, my Kgs rating in 12-10k. Plus if you increase the time it came think, it does not seem to play better.

I also bought the 7d version on Steam for my PC and both are very much well worth the money. I learn more by playing a stronger opponent. Now I have one in my pocket.

The AI is pretty strong. I am European 5d; it is a little weaker than me on its top setting at 19x19.

Very strong AI that will challenge even the strongest of Go players

It is my friend

This tends to be a real issue. Also, would be better to see a whole branch or two to see why that move is good so we can confidence with the deep learning instead of blind belief. I do like that I can challenge a specific human strength instead of a scale of 1 to ten. Would also like it better if I can move through moves with a scroll instead of buttons, takes a while to get to the middle game.

Easy to use interface, with a nice 'rating' mode where you can see your progress. It's also the strongest AI commercially available on Android, far stronger than I am able to play at! I hope that any engine improvements that Remi makes to the main version of crazystone are pushed through to this app as patches/updates as it was quite expensive.

I'm starting to like this app a lot. Some reviews are misleading: you can actually load any SGF file in the analysis mode, as well as save any game in the sdcard. You just need to know the folder where they are saved or from where the app reads the files. Tip: when saving a game, the app will show you the exact folder path ;)

Fra. Z. Oct 25, 2016

Please allow loading SGF files for analysis and allow saving SGF files into the sdcard instead of emails. These should be basic things to implement.

Very nice App. The only thing I miss is the confirmation click input method from GoDruid but the always working undo button makes up for that. From my 5k standpoint a very good Bot with a good sense for direction of play.

Hen. H. Nov 28, 2016

the rating scale seems tad optimistic, Im kgs 3dan and achieved 5dan in rating mode on my note 4. wishlist: being able to click on a move in analyze mode to get the main line of the variation.

Sco. M. Feb 12, 2017

My only complaint is the cumbersome UI. Why do I have to save a game, and exit to another mode, then reload the game just to run an analysis? And then save again or lose the analysis? Then exit, back to another mode just to play again? This seems easy to streamline, but for some reason, they chose not to.

Great program, would like rating mode for 13x13 as well as storing the record for non rating mode

I can't load and save sgf files. Please fix

First, crazystone is great! Second: in the settings I can set play speed to "slow" "normal" and "fast" in addition to the rank. Do they affect style/strength or do they just slow down the computer? Thanks
