They abandoned this port and stopped optimizing it when a new ad-based version was released. Totally greedy move, and what is worse is that we paid for this, it was not free. Complete scam if you refuse to optimize it, at least give us our money back!

If you're reading this in 2020, don't buy this game. I've bought this game back in 2016 and SEGA is dropping support, which means it is meant to run on older Android systems. This game is UNPLAYBALE. SEGA decided to make a new version altogether and charge customers again. Not giving any money to SEGA in the foreseeable future.

Unresponsive! I paid for the older version, which simply doesn't work now at all. I can't even pass the screen that says "touch the screen". My money back please!

touch controls are non responsive 95% of the time. I was unable to even complete one pickup and drop off due to nonresponsive controls. Galaxy Note 8

Not as responive as the Free Version. Save your money or keep your old phone that can play it.

If your older Android phone is running Kitkat and still is powerful enough, you can get the arcade version of the game, and the extras which made the Dreamcast or Xbox versions memorable. But on phones running Lollipop, trying to use an external controller makes the game unplayable, and Sega never bothered to fix that. And on my new phone running Marshmallow 6.0.1, you can't get past the title screen.

Whatever update you guys did broke this game. The touch screen doesn't work and needs to be fixed, or I want a refund from this crap. Doesn't work at all because.... The controls and everything were fine months ago. I redownload tonight and this is what I get. Yea fix now or a refund is in order.

This is crazy taxi just as I remember it, only difference is you can't play it. The controls flat out do not work, they stick and make the game unplayable. Very disappointing. You may not have these same issues but for me I regret giving money to someone for this awful port.

Can't seem to get this game to work now. From what I can tell other Nexus 5x users are having problems as well. I've already submitted some reports so hopefully the game gets fixed. Update: Still doesn't work Update 2: If you look through the comments for Nexus 5x user there is a person who states that they contacted SEGA and it would appear that they have no plans on fixing this issue. NICE I wonder how Google handles refunds of this nature

Do not buy! Touch screen controls do not work, though it does let you select the game. Go figure. You can steer with tilt, but you still have to touch to drive forward. What a piece of crap, and I hear the company has no plans to fix it! Spend your money elsewhere.

Update needed controls lag badly,makes the game unplayable,otherwise would be a good game,at present waste of £2.99. Nothing has been fixed since my original post game doesn't work on s5 or galaxy tab 3 just freezes up.Is there anything it does work on

Its one of my most favorite Sega games but doesn't work on my phone. I have a 2015 Blu vivo air with lollipop 5.1 android. My friend has it on his galaxy s6 and it works better on his but freezes and glitches mid-way through playing.

Crazy Taxi was one of my favorite arcade/Gamecube game. A few years ago I downloaded this game for my ASUS MeMo tablet and the game suffered massive lag which made it unplayable. More recently, I tried to play the game on my Nexus 5x cell phone. The controls would get alternate between not working or getting hopelessly stuck. Again, the game was unplayable. Whatever you do, DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS GAME!

Thanks for getting rid of vibrattion. I think is time for more Dreamcast ports now whit the Bluetooth and WiFi controllers and not to mention the android consoles. This proves the android platform is perfect for the arcade fill games . Is the second step android is good for casual or arcade games. Heard core gamers PC and home consoles don't waist your time whit AAA games for this system

For the most part it's fine, but every 2 minutes or so, it locks up and the controls glitch out. Then I have no control of my taxi.. I love this game soo much and it would be great to play on the go, but its so hard to when it barely works....

I love this game. I have for every system that it could be on . It was working perfectly on my Samsung S6 but on a new Samsung note 8... The on screen controls fail. Even with a Bluetooth controller, The game fails to recognize buttons or keeps a button Pressed. Using a Steelseries Stratus XL bluetooth controller on a new Samsung galaxy note 8.

Just like I use to play on Sega dream cast. I'd give it 5 but I have 2 downfalls. Arrow on the top for directions doesn't come up, which makes it difficult. Also, the controls for turning are wonky and could've been done so much better

Now this classic game deserves to be one of the most downloaded on Play. Runs smooth, with no issues, on my old phone. I still can't believe how long it took them to remove vibrate though, so many people requested it and usually Sega's support is 1st class.

Nougat/Marshmallow users BEWARE!!! The game worked fine prior to updating to these systems. App launches and crashes back to home screen/freezes during play. **Update** Sega support contacted me back and said there are no plans for a fix on this issue.
