Credit Card Reader NFC (EMV)

I'd give negative stars if there was an option. All it does is make the phone vi rate when I put my own card to the back of my phone. It says to read the info extend something which requires a donation of course. Vulgar words come to mind when this app is brought up.

Used to work great. With recent update, it doesn't read the card properly. Phone just vibrated briefly and nothing happened on the screen

Was a great app! New version is a disappointment — it used to be possible to view the card number of Apple Pay cards from iPhones (which don't show last-4); now it's no longer an option, because you have to confirm the last 4 digits in this app first — which means you have to use Apple Pay at a vendor to get a receipt with the last 4, before you can use this app. Very disappointing to have such a downgrade in functionality in the latest version.

Dreadful! I used to use this app to demonstrate my RFID shields and I would always scan my own card to show people how easy RFID cards can be read. The paid version only shows the card number when you put in the last 4 to validate. I emailed the developer 3 times explaining this and asked for a refund because the app is useless. Not a single response. Upgrade with care, once you're not happy, you won't get a refund.

This app used to be a powerfull tool to help demonstrate to people the potential risks involved with contactless cards. Sadly the latest update removed features, severly crippled existing ones to the point where the demonstration is no longer effective, and then asks for money! I'm normally happy to support developers, but not with that attitude.

Work as intended. Those who give bad score because the APP doesn't show CARD number unless you input 4 consecutive card numbers, either are theft or don't realise it's for their own safety, so no other person can use it to steal your card information. APP doesn't ask for any permission, so it's unlikely that it send your card information back to the developer.

Feel robbed, do not pay, same as all the other reviews, just paid a fiver, does nothing but vibrate a little, no screen data at all. Disgraceful these apps with complaints like these are not monitored by Google and kicked off the store

Use to love this app to demonstrate how tap works. Now it won't show you anything without an in app donation. Would concidered the pro version for more features because I have a built up credit on the Google Play store, but scared to try after seeing how much functionality has been removed from this.

Well they made $2.99 from me from me. And now I've basically lost that money. I have never had the chance to benefit from this app. Now I have to get Google play to refund this nonsense. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT! DO yourselves a favor and leave this pos app alone. Save the time and money and look at something else.

It will not scan card at all

THE App IS Accurate, and RELAIABLE Reading all the one start reviews as SOON as the developer changed the pressions, requiring the OWNER of the credit card input the last four digits of THE OWNERS CREDIT CARD! All the one star reviews are people who used this app to STEAL people's credit card information (the full number, experation date, ccv number, etc). It is convient that he changes the rules because he sees the damage his app can cause and THEIVES start complaining! GET A JOB EMBEZZERS!

This app does exactly what it says in the description. There's a lot of people here who left bad reviews as the app requires entering four digits to see the full card number. This is obviously designed as a security feature to prevent theft and I have to acknowledge this app developer for being ethically conscious. This app works as intended, and I would 100% question the motives of the one-star reviewers who claim to have previously used it for "demonstration".

My card was RuPay card. Not in your compatible list. Your app didn't even detect it. For incompatible cards you need to detect it and give some message. Reading info on the card could be restricted for compatible cards but detection of NFC field should happen atleast. Isn't it?

Wanted to use this app to demonstrate that the card number can easily be read, instead it gives the impression that you need the last 4 digits to read the card details even though that is not true and the app already has the card details.

I'd give this app no stars at all if possible, it does nothing. It doesn't work, there's no information or proper instructions at all. It's more like a blank tab than an app.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Reads cards and gives you lots of useful background info that I had no idea gets collected.

I'll give 5 star as the dev put the option to not show you nothing before you puting last 4 digits to ensure you won't steal anyone else's card. Great app for testing, but not sure if it stores the data

Not free. Useful functionality is 'locked' behind a 'donation' paywall. Deceitful behaviour as it clearly is a fee and not a donation.

Out of Two Visa cards, One AmEx, and One Master Card, the app could only read my Citi Visa - Sort of. No account holder name, and the account number was shown as A0 00 0000 00 0 0 0 or some such thing.

Card information stolen. Don't use cash app card for much but after scanning with this app I am receiving unknown charges. Coincidence...I think not!

I added my credit card that I rarely use to this app, and guess what ? I got and SMH confirmation from my bank that this card was used !! Ppl, don't install this app and am reporting it to local police and google playstore !!
