This upgrade is okay, but it runs much slower than the previous version. Before I could easily login with my fingerprint within seconds but now have to select the biometric login, then scan my print, and wait for my accounts to load which may or may not happen.
The check depositing is STILL so broken!!!! I don't want to have to go to the bank to deposit these checks because it doesn't work. Front side now at least works, when going to the back, the image is all skewed and can't scan in properly. Can't capture manually, can't back out. Do your devs ever test this? Pixel 2XL with all latest updates.
Well, the app used to work, but for the last 2 weeks after login, it starts to load my account information, and then stops, so I cannot see anything in my accounts. I see I am not the only one experiencing this problem...very frustrating.
I'm getting really tired of this app all together. It always has problems!!! I can never log in because they are always experiencing technical difficulties or they automatically disable my quick login. I'm just playing sick of it!
Banking as it should be. I'm not a number on some tally sheet. Everytime I enter the building, or appear at the drive through. I'm addressed by name. When I have a question, or need some information. It's quickly and personally done. My suggestion I have. Would be for an improvement with their phone system. But I'm usually given a direct line to whom I need contact with. When further communication is necessary. I'm very happy with CREDIT UNION WEST. I don't miss the "big bank" headache one bit.
Remote deposit has been broken since they require you to write "for deposit only at Credit Union West" on the back of the check. Apparently my handwriting is just too sloppy for the AI to pick up, and it's pretty hard to write that in the small section of the check you're supposed to write it in. That's the only reason I use this app so it's now worthless to me.
CW West has gone above and behind the call to help me with my banking needs. there staff is very helpful in finding alternatives to accomplish what you need done. weather it's a car loan, home improvement for just a good retirement plan. Check with CW West, ya won't be sorry.
Online Banking is great! The website is comprehensive and easy to navigate. I love the many features it provides including creating a personal budget and remote check deposit.
App WAS great. Latest update took "identity" quick-code login away and slowed EVERYTHING down. The convenience I enjoyed from the app before is gone. Please undo the latest update so the app can be convenient and usable again.
Happy with this app. The remote deposit feature is convenient and I am able to do nearly everything from my phone. Super convenient.
the best...when my bank of 22 years, USAA declined to refinance my vehicle, even after doing all the hoop jumping they requested, I asked CU West as they sent a flyer. I wasn't even a member. Told me "no problem" just join, I did and here we are, great service, great customer service, great rates, and I got my vehicle refinance after doing all CU West requested. Nuff said! Oclaf
The credit union has been great to work with. The personal touch is still there. I have had a great experience with every Worker. Strongly recommend them just for there customer service.
CU West has several branch offices nearby. Very convienient.
only point of the app was for remote deposit of checks. i cannot deposit now because it says i need to write 'for remote deposit only at credit Union West' i write this on there and it still won't accept it. if ocr cannot recognize small print or cursive then don't force the phrase. all my other Banks work just fine
I don't know who decided that CUW online needed to be COMPLETELY REVAMPED, my guess is some executive with no better idea decided "let's waste money fixing something that isn't broken. Yeah, that'll show 'em how innovative I am". Well it failed miserably and this broken system has forced me to have to actually drive to the bank to make a payment on my bike loan 3 months in a row. Thanks CUW, now I know what it was like banking in the 1970s! Sooooo retro...
Screens change/update quickly, rarely has the site been down when I needed access. Dashboard is great and so many other tools are available and work great✌🏽
My family and I have banked with Credit Union West since 1999 and we have no complaints. We have had many car loans and mortgage loans with them and always had great service. Highly recommend this financial institution!
It is supposed to have a check deposit feature. If it does, I cannot find it now. I used it in the past. The check deposit feature is why I switched my banking back to this bank.
Crashes all the time. i have to continually uninstall this app and re-download it everytime there is an update!!!!
Personalized service. Employees are knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and provide timely follow up.
For some reason, it's not letting me edit my previous review. I was very unsatisfied. Now that I was able to speak with an employee, my app login is now set up. I didn't realize that I needed to enter my ss and first 2 letters of my last name (in caps in case you're having login issues). I typically love CUW, but like many others, was incredibly frustrated with the new app. The layout is fine, and I'm pleased that there isn't a banner with ads. That's what B of A has on their cruddy app. I appreciate not being marketed to in an annoying fashion!
