Creeds and Confessions

Excellent! Great to have such this collection in one place, which includes the four standard Early Church Creeds, the British Presbyterian Westminster Standards, the British Calvinistic Baptist versions of the Westminster Standards and the Dutch-German Reformed Three Forms of Unity. However, it would be good to have a search facility.

Nice having to know different understanding of knowledge from various councils from the past. Historical!

Update: 5/22/2022 - 5 stars. Augsburg Confession is now included. Missing the The Augsburg Confession, which is one of the most important documents of the Protestant Reformation.

Awesome so far. I see in other reviews that the creator of this app responds to them and that these were all manually transcribed?! Thats awesome, thanks for doing this. First thing I noticed was that catholic is spelled catholick in the apostals creed and catholic in the nicene creed. Was the spelling catholick intentional? If so thats fine, if not the apostals creed is the first one I opened because its at the top and that jumped out at me right away. I am looking forward to reading the rest!

Thank you for this wonderful app. I use it regularly and have commended it to friends and family. It is great having the creeds and confessions in one place. I like that the text, it is clean and clear. In a future update would you be able to add the 'second helvetic confession' and the 'calvinistic-methodist confession of faith'? Both beautiful statements of the reformed faith. Thanks

Downloaded before but didn't keep for lack of proofs. Thank you for adding them. Is now a great tool and help for guidance, research and instruction. Would like to see maybe the Lutheran confessions at some point added, just a suggestion. Great app!

Good Source for Canons of Dort. And other creeds of three forms of unity. Thus, it is different in Canons Of Dort in URNCA dot org.

Exellect app, keep updates coming when you have time

Excellent resource for looking up catechism questions on the go or referencing the Westminster. Wish there was an option to enable proof texts (but I like how clean it is without them).

Thank you for your efforts.This is an excellent theological reference resource to have at hand when needed. The value of these historic Christian, Protestant & Reformed creeds, confessions and catechisms cannot be fully stated.

A great app, so helpful to see the creeds in a format that makes sense to me. A bit about the history of the creeds would be an added bonus in my opinion!

An excellent app and much needed. However, this app would be much improved upon and truly indispensable if these catechisms contained the corresponding Scripture references with each apology.

Nice app, but would be better if there is an option for showing the Biblical references for each clause of the Confessions. I'll be looking forward to the next update. Please add a search function and a feature to bookmark /save last read. It will save a lot of time.

Great app! Thank you! Please change the date of the Athanasian creed to the 4th century as 8th century is wrong. The order will then likely have to be changed so that the Athanasian creed is before the Chalcedonian, to reflect the linear ordering by date. The app would have 5 stars if these changes were implemented. I would give 6 if I could. Thank you again! PS could you also include the second helvetic confession? PPS thanks for the info! Any news regarding the second helvetic confession?

In apple store CC&RC does have references of the scripture. Why this app doesn't have? Please, Bible references are important.
