Crew Messaging

Horrible app. My part-time job employer wants me to use this. There is no way to select what notifications to get. If my data is on while at my primary job, my phone constantly is blown up with messages from my second job.

They keep limiting the free version to a basically impossible use. Greedy and just want you to pay, and cost is EXPENSIVE. Also, upon giving feedback, they had no response. Anybody want to post an alternative?

This is a great app, but dornsome reasom everytime i try and upload a picture of my schedule it keeps exiting out on me and does not allow me to upload it. I even redownloaded the app and it is still giving me the same results.

Had to re-install this app due to bugs now it won't let me log back in due to unknown error 🙄,now I can't put my name down for future jobs,also tried to install on old phone, same thing happens and with different phone numbers,really annoying...

I have used Crew app for several years with our restaurant. It has always served my purposes well. It does everything I need it to do and more. It's a great way to post schedules as well as groups and individual chat for our team. We have always been able to have 30 team members of before having to purchase the pro version. Now you need pro with more than 10 people 🙄. I am forced to look for a different app pro is $30 monthly.

I keep trying to use the pickup shifts and cover option but every time I try to adjust the date and time of my shift it just bounces me back to the beginning and makes me start over. Can't even use that portion of this app on my Moto G7 Supra phone

App is good for team communication. The amount of members you can add for free has decreased to like 10. 2 stars bc the Price is too high for pro .

This was a great tool for work until you came up with this new plan to make it a monthly fee. Although I love the app, I will be forced to explore other options. I think you will lose alot of support but I understand your decision. Perhaps you can consider something more reasonable in the monthly cost or have a one time fee. Just my 2 cents.

I used to love the app. Was great for posting schedule and everything. But after they raise prices was not even good. Bad reviews etc

Sign Up When opening the app asked for my mobile number and when I typed it init said that there was an unown error occured try again? Very dissapointed when I tried again 2 hours later the same messege poped up again.

I've been using this app for several years. It's great for the high school kids so they can see their schedule at any time. No need to have everyone's phone #s as you can direct message people on here. Working in a restaurant we have high turn over due to the high school kids. Changing the free version to only 10 employees is ridiculous! We have atleast 22 full/part time employees. We'll be looking for another app to use because $30 a month is a very steep price!!

I have been using this app for 5 plus years now and this is the most money hungry play I have ever seen from them. The bad news on Jan 31st, 2022 they are moving to a paid format for organizations with more than 10 people. I did not like that, going from a free cap of 35 down to 10 thats less than half of the original. I still like the app so much I was willing to pay if it was within reason. It is not I figured ok maybe $30 a year or 5 a month nope 30 DOLLARS a month. That is ridiculous.

Loved this app. Was a great way to send out the schedule and keep my staff informed of changes and upcoming events. Unfortunately I can have more than 10 employees sometimes and now that crew is going to charge monthly. I will have to find another option. I was willing to pay but not 30 dollars a month. That's ridiculous.

Crew is a pretty organized app, that allows users to use the interface to find coverage and motivate other staff, I think the app is pretty cool, but the only recommendation I have is that the "GoldStars" shouldn't have to be bought, it should be like a reward kind of thing, instead of charging people money, let the gold stars be literally earned off merit/going beyond your job duty.

I loved it before latest update. Now, I cannot enter recurring shifts, please change it back!!

My organization has used this app for 5 years, 3 years under my management. Suddenly I cannot upload photos. I can't contact support via app unless I pay. If I have more than 10 employees now, I have to pay. Money hungry and greedy. Customer care is a joke. Taking my staff elsewhere. Thanks for nothing Crew!

I had to use this at work and it's absolute trash 🤷 constant issues required to post photos only allows one at a time, confusing ui, and also uses massive amounts of data.

0 star. This app enables employees to not be responsible for their shifts or providing coverage for them by making it public to all coworkers rather than communicate to the managers directly. The reason this app was deemed necessary for work was to provide an online schedule. The schedule is rarely posted in the category which it should be. That means that you then have to scroll through an "everyone" thread that seems endless, or anticipated this outcome, and have taken a screenshot originally.

This app used to be a really solid means for communicating to my team and keep my work life seperate from my texts. But $30/month???? Thats ridiculous, we have 8 stores in our district alone, thats 3k a year just to send messages and post schedules. This is a really good app, I could justify 5 a month or 30 a year, but come one, what a rip off

Have tried to cancel a subscription but they continue to charge me. I'd recommend any app other than this POS.

this app is great! i like the features that are available. however, there is one thing that frustrates me to no end. when updating my availability, i cannot switch apps or let my screen turn off before hitting the save button. if i do either of these things, i lose what i had just edited and updated. this is very frustrating because i switch between crew and my calendar quite often, and having to click the save button every time is annoying.

Been using this app for months, and in general it's been helpful, minus the odd issue (messages not appearing as read, telling me I've got notifications from another group when there's nothing there, etc.). All of a sudden my posts don't appear, pictures don't load, messages from others might appear and might not. I cleared the data, uninstalled, reinstalled, and now I'm getting an unknown error when I try to sign up again. Not cool when I use this for work.

Crew was working perfectly up until a few weeks ago, now it's almost impossible to navigate it on the app. Every time I'm looking at the calendar at a week that is not the current day, it skips back up to today's date in the calendar every time I make a single change to the day I actually want to work with, or if my screen turns off. Also if you type a message that is longer than a few sentences, the app freezes up and makes it impossible to finish your message. Please fix this!!

The text on files is blurry for anyone using Android. This is the case for everyone in our organization. iPhone users don't have this problem, and the text looks very sharp. Tested on PDF, Excel, and Word docs, all with the same results. Also, small complaint, but you can't change the notification sound. It just uses the system default.

Makes it easy to communicate with my team but I wish it were possible to delete individual chats. Also, when people leave the organization the notification stays pinned to the top of the app under "other connections" and there's no way to get rid of it. Another thing that would be nice is if functions like get shift coverage or view today were pinned to the top instead of hiding somewhere in the middle of all the conversations I have open. Announcements are always at the top, these should be too

Crew App is a purpose-built program that allows you to communicate directly with your work group (or any other group you set up). You can post pictures, share schedule availability, and write messages, to coordinate events easily, or just to generally stay in touch. It's a very efficient app. The user interface is easy to understand, and it doesn't advertise unrelated junk you don't want. There's not much to improve on in this one.

Works but is glitchy. Can't type more than 2 or 3 sentences before it starts wigging out and jumping around and freezing up on me. And more often than not, I have to force stop the app to get my messages to go through or to recieve them. Not worth it, especially if this is persistent with the paid version. Not to mention there is no option to delete old messages, so your phone is constantly using more and more memory for it. Had to delete multiple apps to make more room for this app messaging.
