This version of cribbage is absolutely great. There are different levels a person can choose. This game is free. The commercials are only once in a great while. They also have a chance to click on a place on the main page to geat extra points, another place to get daily extra points and of course the shop. Just grest. I love playing it.
Good game. I've played about 20 times, on medium and hard, and have won all but 2. The app crashed once mid-game and didn't come back to it. With Auto Count turned off, the game won't let me count the 4 points for a 4-card flush in my hand. It does count this flush for the opponent. Please fix this.
Good game. Close to playing with cards, but 2 problems . 1) (major fault) doesn't always score a 4 card flush when in the hand (sometimes, not always). 2) (not a fault, exactly, just weird) The way it counts the score at the end of the round is strange. It's distracting if you are trying to count, yourself. I've been playing for over 50 years and I can say that it is usual to count 15's first, then pairs/ 3 or 4 of a kind, then runs, then the jack if pertinent, last. (Possible to fix?)
Love this! Only 1 ad per game. This would be 5 stars if you fix the counting of a flush in my hand. Only get the points about half the time. Computer opponent always gets theirs. It has made a difference in me losing close games because of it. PLEASE FIX THIS!
On several occasions I've had it not count the flush points. Getting better with this but still an issue. The more I play the more I'm realizing that the game puts a hand together for the opponent on the fly. Very predictable. The rate is much higher for the house hand to get runs that only happen occasionally for me. Develop an honest shuffling system and make the computer play a smart game and you'll have something
Another broken cribbage game. At hard difficulty you excel to around 70pts +/-10 then the deck stacks and the AI starts getting 20+ pt deals. It's designed to frustrate you so you keep playing and relying on in-app purchases to challenge the harder difficulty. This in turn causes you to invest more real-world dollars to play. Alternatively you can watch a bunch of ads to play. I miss the days of owning a computer program, the purism of developers making a great product. This app has no value.
Good crib game, can play completely offline (airplane mode) and only shows you one ad per game if connected. So far so good. Options for mugging, auto-count, 4 difficulties, and various decks to customize the look. Definitely have noticed some glitches, unable to claim a flush while counting myself, some unclaimed runs with autocount. Would be nice to review scoring when it's auto on, quick score.
Interface is okay. Algorithm makes for games that are too easy to win. I play without auto count, with Muggins. I played one game at Hard level, doubling my bet, and won, then moved to Expert level. I doubled my bet each time and have won six games and not lost. There is no challenge here (unlike, say, Cribbage Pro, where my percentage was between 50 and 60 at "Brutal" level). I'll be uninstalling.
1 - a lot of times the program freezes after an ad plays in the middle of a game. 2 - many times it does not count a flush in your hand 3 - the app player doesn't always play for the most points or potential. i.e. the app puts a 5 in the user's crib when it has several tens in it's hand. Thus, you get a good crib and score better.
Very irritating the app doesn't recognize a flush and add to your points. Never misses counting your opponent. Twice now I have lost a close game because the app didn't score my points correctly. Fix this bug please. So far it is the only one I have found but it effects the outcome of games.
There are good graphics and sounds during the play of our cards. The cribbage board gives you a good overhead view of progress throughout play. Playing against the "medium" strength program gives realistic results, I think. Dinos
For the most part, this is fun, but it doesn't always score correctly. In the last game i played it failed to give me points for a flush. It is also hard to see what it is scoring since it flips through it too fast and there is no way to see the details. Overall results are just a percentage but it doesn't tell you how many games were played and how many you won and lost.
One of the better cribbage apps I've played. Minimal ads. Sometimes it seems a little rigged, but nothing too extreme. I recommend downloading this version if you enjoy the game.
Doesn't count points correctly when you have 4 cards if the same suit in your hand. Maybe 40 / 50% if the time it doesn't count them. The computer opponent gets flush 4 or 5 times a game. It doesn't always count it's own points correctly either.
One of my favorte cribbage games--however, it doesn't count correctly. Sometimes, it won't let you count a flush (so far no pattern for it discovered) and occasionally it won't give the last point. Fix that and it will be 5 stars.
Fantastic game and I'm addicted! If the designers are listening, I have some suggestions: 1) Different boards for purchase - I have bought all options and have almost 150,000 coins and nothing else to spend them all on! ; 2) Maybe use terms like "Dealer" and "pone", or "opponent" -- instead of "enemy". After all, The Computer Is Your Friend! :)
Just played my first game. Not bad, one of the better offline cribbage aps I've played. You can set to manual counting, play w/muggins,(kind of)and option for fast play. A big error I noticed immediately, prob programmer error, flushes in your hands are NOT recognized, but the AI's are. The 1 game I played, I had one 4 card flush(not recognized). Guess how much I lost by!?!??
The game is great I really enjoy playing it. It pretty much taught me how to play cribbage and now I am hooked. I play all the levels I win some and I lose some. I wish there was like a tournament level with a bracket that you can play on down to a championship that would be awesome and I would pay for that. Thank you for making a great game
Only critique is your supposed to count the 15s first and it doesn't always do that. And I would like to be able to go back and look at the hand the crib and the opponent's hand also and that option is not available. The ads that pop up are a pain but I can deal with that. Overall I would give it a 4 1\2.
Downloaded a game with OFFLINE in the title to avoid data usage when playing on the go. When it says "contains ads" I figured it meant for daily boosters; but it really means in the middle of gameplay, so to play the game offline I need to put my phone on airplane mode which defeats the purpose of downloading an offline game.
I've played crib for nearly 40 yrs and after playing hundreds of games on this app over the past while I can tell u that this app is so unrealistic its pathetic. It's coded to deal itself hands with 4 or more cards of the same suit up to probably 4x/game. Even if I wanted to play that strategy, I'm dealt that type of hand maybe once every 6 games or so. Also noticed that the number of times a King is flipped is laughable. You can often predict the flip card based on your hand. UNINSTALLING!
This is a great cribbage app and I would have given it 5 stars except there is a glitch. When you get 4 cards of the same suit sometimes it doesn't give you points. Sometimes it does. Very frustrating. otherwise great fun.
Occasionally it counts wrong but that's ok. The only thing I would change is when you win on your hand I wish I could see my crib. A bit faster at counting on the higher levels would also be good. Somebody that plays crib already knows the points and doesn't need them counted.
Is a very smooth design. Challenges stay pretty realistic, as well...like true life play. Also appreciate that it doesn't aggravate with silly bells & whistles that make me uninstall other games apps immediately. Thanks to the developers for the enjoyment in this fun past time.
The game needs a serious update. We don't always get our points for having four of the same suit. And sometimes when I don't get my four points, of a particular suit, the computer will still get their points for the same suit.
I don't like the way it counts card. And the game s boring. I will be going back to my old favorite, Cribbage Classic. It shows where you can improve plays and game, and become A-1, that helps me play at home with pros. Live
Smooth animation and user-friendly interface. Good tutorial as well. Learned and understood how to play Cribbage. Background color for the table can still be improved.
Nice clean app, few bells or whistles means it works smoothly. Though I'm not 100% convinced that the dealer's honest -- especially on the expert difficulty (I've been getting so many hands full of even-numbered cards, while the computer's got fives and tens coming out of its ears!). Would prefer the ad-breaks to happen between games rather than during, but they're infrequent enough not to be too irritating.
