Cribbage Pro

Not sure what has happened with any recent updates but Brutal level has become almost unplayable. It's pairing me at every opportunity almost with the knowledge I can't come back at it (and despite having safer options to score off me), and if I do peg almost guaranteed the opponent has a big hand to make up for the loss of points. And now twice in a row I've turned up a Jack for the opponent's box for them to win. Have played Cribbage for over 25 years and never come up against such "luck"!

I like this game & have been playing it for quite a while. I like the pace, more options than most for screen themes, etc. However, if I rated it on "RANDOM" dealing, I believe it is manipulated by the developer. There is absolutely no way that it is random. You can state it all you want that you don't, but I do not believe you. I literally have to walk away as it is so obvious.

I received a response saying that there is an option to pay in order to remove the adds. I understand that is an option and appreciate it but I found another free app that shows short reasonble adds that don't interfere with or after the play. Developers might want to look at the add length and waiting period to cancel the adds. It seems that there are others complaining about the same thing. I removed your app because of the adds and found another free app.

The immediacy of the built in game response (instantaneous) sometimes mean an accidental player response (governerned by internet speed) of 2 presses means a player screen response is lost. Perhaps a built in delay time before a response set by the game software might alleviate this hiccup. At present I have only played at most ten games at standard level so my feedback may not be applicable. But so far very enjoyable.

I love cribbage and this app is challenging. It however favors you or the opponent no matter how you play. You also used to show the graphics but no longer do so you can't see what board, background or card style you're picking. Otherwise I would've given it a higher rating.

I love this game and the way its laid out in this app. However, the card system is jacked up bad. I've had the same hand dealt to me, two, three and four times, every game. I've had so many royal straight flushes it's ridiculous. Even when you cut the deck, the card is not random. It is statistically not possible to be dealt the hands I get. Fix this and this game is the best, but the card randomizer or whatever you call it, needs a good wallop on the side iykwim.

I love cribbage and I have played more than the average person. I have been on and off of this app but compared to actual cards, this game is so far off. It's very streaky with the hands you get. Ive mentioned on their forum and they mentioned that their AI and algorithms make sure that doesn't happen. If it's a card game, why does AI and algorithms need to be a part of it? Just randomly deal the cards like the true game.

I have played Crib Pro for years... Recently it has started to display the first card dealt on the edge of the screen: so unless you see the card dealt it is effectively blind! Playing on Android phone: a fix would be great. Thanks for getting back to me. I have checked my display settings and as I suspected it isn't the cause of the problem. I can record the glitch if you want to see the problem.

Will be deleting. The length of ads is outrageous for playing a single game. Lately I've been getting sent to Google play middle of my game to download some other game..that draws the line with me. To bad..because it used to be fun..now just ridiculous.

UPDATE! Having posted in my previous review that I continued receiving ads after having paid the nominal upgrade fee, I received a very quick response from Support. Turns out it was "my bad". I received instructions to remedy the issue. Happy to rate it a most deserving ☆☆☆☆☆!

This was a great game until an an ad wouldn't let me back into the game. Twice it kept sending me to Play Store and then back to the ad. I'm deleting for it's not worth the hassle of closing the game and restarting it.

Game is enjoyable enough except even on challenging i have to question some of the card plays from the computer. The main reason for the 2 star rating is the adds. Even after paying to play add free I still get just as many adds as before!

I've been stuck at XP level 50 for weeks now!! I've been winning more games then losing, I just won 4 un a row!! And no xp level!! Stuck at 50!! Annoying!! If this doesn't change I'm uninstalling app

Since I can't edit my old review. I saw it was double counting the same cards when I looked at the details. The exact same card combination was included on the count list twice with the exact same numbers and suits. No screenshot since I already deleted the app. Rather than defensively assuming that the people who are telling you about this same bug are somehow wrong or don't know how to count points, how about doing some rigorous testing to find the bug and correct it.

I've been playing this game for about a month now and really enjoy it except for the buggy freezing whenever someone's time runs out. Usually when the when the opponents time runs out the screen freezes and there's nothing I can do but quit the game eventually get charged with the loss and can't play for another 5 minutes. I'm waiting for this to be fixed before I join as a paid user

Best ranked matchmaking system I've ever played as far as not punishing players who truly lose connection. a blast to play but may I suggest a competitive matchmaking without the super low timers for weaker or slower players

Been reading comments and it seems a lot of players think the computer cheats. My favorite but is the reply where the dev says the computer uses card counting... But you play cribbage with a single deck so you never know anything beyond your delt hand when discarding and you can always see the cards already played during the round. Either someone made a sloppy post or there is indeed something fishy here. In my experience the ai on brutal does get abnormally high scores and odd plays.

Don't know what happened to my earlier comment...but here goes, again. I updated the app, now there is a glaringly ANNOYING nag line on screen over game play. That is just plain stupid. I will be removing the game, as it is now distracting...and again, ANNOYING! Also, just to say...this app is only deserving of 1 star, or less. Before the update, it would probably gotten at least 4. It used to be an enjoyable pastime. No longer.

This app will get your Cribbage fix in, definitely a must have. The ads happen at the end of a game, so they're not intrusive at all. :)

Fun to play but profile customization leaves something to be desired. I cannot install any of the default avatars but the question mark. Custom avatar uploaded from the device should be made visible to friends. Cannot link my Facebook to this game.

Brutal version you can predict the card drawn with 90% accuracy. It's not random it will benefit the AI most of the time. Be prepared to lose over 50% of the time. It's good for developing strategies. The other levels are a significantly lower level and not challenging. It would be nice to have something that was actually random.

There is no point playing this game it doesn't represent a true game of cribbage??? I've been playing crib for 40 years and this does not reflect the game. Deveelopers get your programmers to play a few games by hand old style ( about 20000 hands should do) then they might see what's going wrong.

Super fun app, can play people in real time with lots of optional features. Minimal ads compared to others and they play at appropriate times which I appreciate.

I don't know what's going on with this game, but I went from #7 on the leader board to nearly #200. I can no longer win a game. I don't mind losing occasionally, but this has become so frustrating. I now win the very odd game and lose 90% or more of them. I can't win if I can't get good hands. What gives?

Game is great but I don't like having to choose a player to play with only to 1 not being accepted 2 being accepted and playing the wait game meaning if the game doesn't start the person who leaves Forfeits the game and gets a lost (not good) Thank u fix or come up with better solutions

As others have mentioned there is some predictability when playing this game. Case in point - when 7-8-9 is played, in any order, more often than not the next card is a 6. How about adding a 10 or 45 second timer, in addition to the 15, 30 and 60 second timers in use? 10 second timers are already in use in the cribbage tournaments on this app.

I used to love this app but in the last month it's been a giant pile of garbage! Most of the time I login to play a friend who lives states away and for the most part we'd have our win and lose streaks but I'm the last month, I have won a total of 3 games. We play nearly every night, 1 round of a 5 game tournament and I won't win and not by a little! Each time a card is cut it plainly helps the other person's hand and it's just criminal! I'm seriously fed up with this app!
