Criminal Case: Mysteries of the Past

I love this game. I've played 4 other criminal case episodes and completed them. This is a great game, but what's going on with the ad's all of the sudden. I understand an ad here and there but not the ads you can skip out of. I can't play because it kicks an ad in as soon as the game starts then ad is zoomed in so its impossible to rich the X in the corner. How aggravating.

Stopped working properly. The app stops by itself frequently, costing me bonuses and progress. I've already restarted my device and reinstalled the app. If this could be fixed, that would be great. The game itself is fun and interesting.

While these games are highly entertaining, the ads get thrown at you every time you play. There is no getting away from them and I am about to delete this game and not go back. May I suggest June's Journey and Pearls Peril. I play both of those and my third game was Criminal case. I would suggest dropping the ads or game players will find something else to play, not Criminal Case.

Used to be better. They brought back the continual pop up ads, which they'd previously wisely gotten rid of. Honestly, I had watched enough ads in this game, for extra energy, etc. Voluntarily. Now they force more on me without reward.

Great game except you don't get your rewards after watching videos. Another thing that's annoying is when you get a refill of energy it doesn't add on to your existing balance.

Frustrating! Spending more time watching videos in order to collect energy and repetitive puzzles to gain stars which you need to play 3 or 4 times to get 1 star! Otherwise you can't look at clues or interview suspects to progress. I signed out of Facebook and found I had to start all over again no save option. Would have been good otherwise taking alot of the fun out of this game.

I love this game ! Just that u have to wait for the results a long time sometimes an entire day! In addition to the annoying ads and 20 energies is exaggerated i think, 10 are enough

So many ads. Every time you come to the main menu after a round you are forced to wait at least 15 seconds for an ad to play enough to exit out of it. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't after every single round but it IS after Every. Single. Round...Sometimes an ad will go automatically to the playstore when you try to exit out of it so you have to go back and re-open the game, it's very annoying.

Love this game! Tasks are a little repetitive but the characters and storylines more than make up for it. Love the ties to real life events and cultural trends of the past (Old West, World's Fair etc.). They creatively change the names a little to make it even more fun! It's like reading a good novel and you get to be one of the characters! Now that I've finished it, I miss the the Airship team! Give it a try!

I used to love this game. Then, the game made a very frustrating change. It used to be you would play 4 scenes and then watch an ad. Now it's an ad after each scene. So you play for 8 to 10 seconds to complete a scene, n then you sit through a 30 second ad. So frustrating n the fun is gone. I realize the devs need to earn money n they do from ads and in app purchases, but this is crazy frustrating for players. The faster you play a scene, the better score. This change is so awful.

Keeps my mind active when I have some downtime. It's my favorite of the series for sure, however I haven't tried the latest version. The ads for extra points don't effect the playability of the game. Obviously if your complaints are towards what ads are playing, then I suggest you try searching something else in your search engine. Your phone is likely to show ads based on your browsing history.

Game is decent, but the ads are incredibly instrusive. And it isn't as if you opt to watch an ad in order to earn energy, or some other prize. The ads are shoved at you every other puzzle scene. I seriously debated giving only 2 stars because the ads are so irritating. It's too bad, because the game itself can be entertaining, but I can only stand those ads once in a while.

It was a great game... until the ads suddenly started. I've been playing this for months and enjoying it as a casual game in lockdown, even occasionally paying to unlock the next level early. But today ads have suddenly started popping up between every investigation (so about every minute). And now they want £7.99 to remove them! The game summary still says the game is free to play! I'm about half way through the levels but this is enough to make me uninstall the app entirely.

A little dissatisfied with the fact that you can only play for a few minutes before using up all your energy and then have to wait so long for the bad to refill and what makes it worst is that so far I don't see where the amount of energy increases as one levels up so that is really a bummer also what is the point of the achievements of we don't get rewarded (not sure if we do) so far it does not seem as that way and even if we do get rewarded, it takes forever to get all. Would've been real nice to have more means to gain energy too.....all in all the game is nice just energy problems.

Fun game with a steampunk vibe. Note: I have since edited a downgrade. While the game is still quite entertaining, there are far too many unwanted ads that interrupt the gameplay. It's one thing to click and watch an ad to gain extra energy etc. but when ads frequently pop up in the middle of playing for no gain, it's extremely annoying.

The game itself is vefy good and I enjoyed it. What I did not enjoy was doing the puzzles successfully, only to be taken to a crappy ad for another game, the game being opened and my own game closed. When I logged back in my previous success was not recorded and I had to start again! Very poor. I'm just going to uninstall it now.

After getting frustrated with the ads, I purchased the ad free version 12 weeks ago. Today the ads are back and I am being invited to purchase the ad free version again. I have tried to make contact about this issue but keep getting an automated email directing me to FAQ page. No help at all and very frustrating. Other than this I enjoy playing the game.

The criminal case game used to be fun. Then, all my friends quit playing because it forced you to download and install a new app to play the mysteries of the past. Now, the ads have gotten out of control. They pop up unexpectedly causing misclicks so the game devs get credit. It is super annoying to the point I have finally decided to quit playing.

I'm really enjoying this game, the story lines are good and all the levels we'll designed. My only bug bear is that you have to wait so long for items to be analysed (some over 10 hours!) The only way to speed them up is to pay, I think extra stars should speed this up as if you collect all stars you are left with a l9t so there is room for this improvement
