too complicated + doesnt even work
Oh It Didint Worg Whatever Cool App!
I wanted the ability to cut my soft buttons' backlight off for nighttime web browsing and reading via a quick settings shortcut. $cripter runs the script quick and quiet, with nothing but a small toast informing that the script ran. Unlike a certain other blue-themed quick-script app... Something to note (at least in SlimKat 4.4.4's case): if you add a script shortcut via quick settings, then change the script's properties (e.g. Run as Root or No Output), you need to recreate the shortcut to get the changed properties. I think that this is probably a bug or limitation in Android, rather than $cripter.
All scripts run in the root directory! I've put "cd $(dirname $0)" in all mine. In 'settings' there is a place for directory names. If that directory does not exist it will not be created, there is no chooser either. App has to be restarted if you change those directories. If you have files in more than one directory there is no distinction between them. There is no indication that the tick on the right means 'run as root'. Other than that, it's reasonably tidy & small & seems to work as advertised
Does what it says with little fuss. Would like the option to run at boot for 5stars
App works great man, my kid is a year and a half and I started teaching myself coding basics n programming right before he was born n really wish I would've started sooner cause if I actually had more then an hour a day to learn and practice it'd be great. Many props
Doesn't work. Gave 'error reading contents', 'commands failed', 'sh stdin[2] head not found'. Tried to create a new script (the hello world) and its created just fine, but the new script can't be read too, hitting refresh does the same error. Actually it does read all the scripts but throws errors. Zenfone 5 (x86) jb 4.3.
it's good that you can add home shortcuts
This simple script won't work :setprop service.adb.tcp.port 5555 stop adbd start adbd 192.168.0.11
Very handy when there are mutiple tasks which can be done best via bash script.
is important for root apps! need to see code to trust. thanks dev!
Exactly what I was looking for, does great job.
Helps you find anything in busybox script.
Nice app, thanks developer keep it up
read doesn't work
There is a UI for echo command, why there is not UI for read command?
Easy to use
Most others got too many options which is not needed. This one is the best, easy and get the job done.
Very handy to automate various tasks. Simple to use. Working fine on my Samsung Galaxy S4 (running CM).
"can't run script... permission denied". by the way, application has been granted root permissions properly. same script can be run by script manager with no problems.
Need to clear data to run as root, if first run with root disabled
On my device is always error -> 'reading contents of /sdcard/... Commands failed: head /sdcard/a.sh' i assume that my device is not have 'head' command and where i can find it?
Quite good, but I can't set sdcard1 as storage...
easy to use,
Integrated into my ROM :-)
i downloaded it nd then tried to install but wen i do i see a message that i have insufficient space but i have 3.5gb of free space (xperia sp)
Doesn't save any scripts I made and the it spamed a erroe box about commands stuff.
Had to fork it and modify it. but hey! Thats what opensource is all about.
It's Not working. Giving me a lot of errors. other Sh Script Runner apps work for me but not this one.
