I wanted the ability to cut my soft buttons' backlight off for nighttime web browsing and reading via a quick settings shortcut. $cripter runs the script quick and quiet, with nothing but a small toast informing that the script ran. Unlike a certain other blue-themed quick-script app... Something to note (at least in SlimKat 4.4.4's case): if you add a script shortcut via quick settings, then change the script's properties (e.g. Run as Root or No Output), you need to recreate the shortcut to get the changed properties. I think that this is probably a bug or limitation in Android, rather than $cripter.

All scripts run in the root directory! I've put "cd $(dirname $0)" in all mine. In 'settings' there is a place for directory names. If that directory does not exist it will not be created, there is no chooser either. App has to be restarted if you change those directories. If you have files in more than one directory there is no distinction between them. There is no indication that the tick on the right means 'run as root'. Other than that, it's reasonably tidy & small & seems to work as advertised

Does what it says with little fuss. Would like the option to run at boot for 5stars

App works great man, my kid is a year and a half and I started teaching myself coding basics n programming right before he was born n really wish I would've started sooner cause if I actually had more then an hour a day to learn and practice it'd be great. Many props

Doesn't work. Gave 'error reading contents', 'commands failed', 'sh stdin[2] head not found'. Tried to create a new script (the hello world) and its created just fine, but the new script can't be read too, hitting refresh does the same error. Actually it does read all the scripts but throws errors. Zenfone 5 (x86) jb 4.3.

"can't run script... permission denied". by the way, application has been granted root permissions properly. same script can be run by script manager with no problems.
