Cross Stitch Guild

What cross stitchers have been waiting for! The official Cross Stitch Guild application.
Really useful stitching tools include:

* Shade cards for Madeira, DMC and Anchor
- check list for personal stock and those you need to buy.

* Colour converter for changing thread: brands and seeing colour equivalents.

* Stitch count calculator. Work out how much fabric you need.

* Stitch Library with details of how to create a whole host of stitch types, including clear diagrams.

* Dedicated areas to record your fabrics, special threads, books, kits and UFOs (Unfinished objects).

* See Jane Greenoff's stitching journal and get her tip of the day, Twitter and Facebook entries.

I love how this app shows the color swatch of all the colors in the thread list. The only things that could be better is an updated thread chart. I am using DMC and there are colors missing. It would also be nice to be able to add how many skeins you need when shopping for those threads. Also it would be great to have a backup for this list. Another nice feature would be a way to sync data with other devices. It would rate 5 stars then. Great app though.

I've just started using this app and I have discovered that the database is missing so many floss numbers. You also cannot update any entries, which makes it pointless. Why would it give you the option to enter a project, then not be able to update your progress or add a photo? Considering the price I expected more from this app. It has the potential to be great, but the developers need to put some more work into it and update it. I'll update my review when this app is updated. Until it's updated I advise everyone to pass on this app.

I would love to be able to.attach multiple pictures. Some would be in progress pics and then the final project and maybe a pic of the receiver with the final project. Also would like to store beads as well. Also would like to see the specialty threads broken down like the DMC. Or at least a catalog of names so I don't input one with one name and then accidentally enter it with a slight variation of the name and get them all confused. I look forward to checking it out even more. But PLEASE more spaces for pics!!!

Some DMC colors are missing. I can't find a way to edit my special threads either. Wish those were organised more like the stranded cotton, so I could change the status from "got it" to "need it". What happens if I run out of a particular thread? For the price I was hoping for more.

Looks good at first glance, but you soon discover that there is no way of editing the saved details, or deleting projects/wish list kits, so it is very limited in functionality.

I just purchased this and found some bugs. First, when I open my thread section and choose dmc for instance and search for a specific number it shows that number but when I choose it display another number. Second, I can edit my UFO entry.

I've only had this app for about 15 minutes but I have already noticed that the "search text" field under "My Threads" doesn't work properly, and that there are a few DMC colours missing from the list. The "Stitch Library" and the stitch and thread converters will be worth the price of the app though. It should really be half the price that it is.

Lots of very useful tools my only wish is that it would create a shopping list from your floss inventory for projects.

Great easy to use app. Love the thread organiser and so helps with new purchases. Only wish would be, could the journal entries be in date order? Rachel. :-)

It was not what I was looking for.
