Crossword Jam

Brilliant app. Simple every day word puzzles. The ease of looking up a new word by just tapping on the word is a new way to learn new words. It's an educative way to play the crossword puzzle. The ads, I forgot to mention, it slows the flow down a lot. You can't skip ads, it must play the 5-15secs complete. I enjoy the time with the game nevertheless.

Was a great game until it started freezing my phone. Just stops working, can't close it, can't do anything but wait until an error finally pops up stating the app stopped responding, then I can select to close it. During one freeze, I received a phone call that I could not answer. Don't know why it takes over the entire phone operations, but it does. Uninstalling, unfortunately.

Been playing for about 2 months. I was in the 3.5% of players. Since the last update I have had issues with the screen selecting, black screen so I had to completely shut the game down, overheating of my phone, and not always getting all the coins I had earned. I had really enjoyed the game. Today I continued to get the black screen, so I uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that would help. It took 45 minutes to reinstall. All of my progress is GONE! I will be Uninstalling again. I am done.😡

Was enjoying app until today. I'm now getting a black screen when I launch the app and I've already restarted my phone. If I uninstall and re-install, all my progress will be lost. Also, the point balance needs to update between levels or give the player the option to update the point balance at their convenience. Right now, it randomly updates in the middle of a level breaking the users focus.

I play games while listening to audio books. When the (too frequent) ads pop up, they don't just pause my book sound, the stop it. So to play this game, I have to stop playing, close the game app, open audible, restart my book, minimize my book app, open the game app back up, and resume both activities. Plus....in a seperate matter, game progress is not saved on the cloud or Facebook, so when I had to reset my phone recently, I had to start the game over. There was no restore progress.

This game challenges my vocabulary and my memory. Yaaaaa! Thanks guys. Update: still enjoy the game but the bad part is it freezes alot so much so that it can be difficult to play. Still freezes but not as much. I have never reached a level in any game that was this high (over 700)

Since the last update, now I can't play it. It opens up, goes to the tournament screen that wants you to click on to see the results, and when I do it closes. It won't let me bypass it. Not sure what's going on? Before this, I loved playing it. Very disappointing. Thank you for fixing the problem!! It works great now!

It's fun to play until you play a league like Treasure Hunt. Had several experiences where I was leading in points with an hour to go, leave the game before time expires, and come back to view results to see I've lost half my points and lead. Thus, dropping me down a league because of it. I would rather not play a league but there's no way around it.

So many ads, the game is not enjoyable. It takes me about 15-45 seconds to play through a puzzle, then I have to suffer through 30 seconds or more of objectionable ads with games that I don't want to play. I wouldn't mind paying a one time fee for ad-free play, but I refuse to pay over $100 a year for a game that's supposed to be free. Other games have a one time fee and manage to stay in business. Yuck from ads. Game is fun if you can play it.

Fun and fast moving. I did enjoy this game until recently. Now it goes to black screen when starting to load up. I have to "close all" to get out of it, and my phone gets hot. I will uninstall, and lose all my progress. Don't want to, but I don't see any other way as I've tried to load up several times now without success.

I used to enjoy this game, but now? Not so much. The levels have changed with 3 letter words eliminated. The challenges/events are harder to top score because I'm playing against players that have 3 letter words allowing them to clear levels quicker & get more points. Time to look for a different game and take my money elsewhere.

It is a good game but ads get in the way. Also after playing it for awhile the lines you draw from letter to letter begin to stick or won't work at all. I never get credit for the coins I earn and the game keeps on trying to get me to buy the hints instead of giving me the credit I have already earned. The upside is that all of the games are ruined the same way.

Fun, tricky, makes me think without using help/hints. I thing I wish there was a way to transfer coins over to this one that I've earned playing other games. I have a load of those doing nothing. I try not to use coins because I want to keep my mind working. I only give in if I have no other way. If I'm out of coins, I just shut it down for a while. Then open it up and it jumps off the screen!

This could be a great game except for one problem. If you play it for a few days in a row you notice that many.words are frequently repeated. Such as arc fat, can, thy, etc. Perhaps having different levels of difficulty with. Longer words as the difficulty increases would make for a more stimulating experience. As much as I am enjoying the game I am not challenged by it. After just a few days.

The worst app EVER!! Never plays any music, sound or anything other than the simple display of the words. I have contacted them through the app COUNTLESS TIMES!! They always promise to "get back to you " but NEVER do. This has been an on going problem for more than a year! It is such a scam!!! If I could put ZERO Stars, I would!!!

When I first started playing this game it was fun now it uses up the battery on my tablet so fast I don't get to play very long because they added so many advertisements/ commercials you can't get out of until you close out the whole program! That's a bummer because I really was enjoying this word jam puzzle. You need to cut out some of these darn commercials or advertisements. It takes a fun out of your game.

Love the game hate the ads. They are hard to close , try to close and keep taking me to their site, especially the one advertising internet stories. Very Frustrating, doesn't exactly make me want to check it out. I play games to relax not to frustrate me. It would be 5 star if not for ads.

Gameplay is fine, but even with every volume set to zero some Ads play out at full blast. I've checked every setting I can think of but nothing lets me control the volume of Ads. Extremely annoying when you are trying to play quietly without disturbing nearby sleepers!!!!!!!! UNINSTALLED

Back for another update - have to say the developers have done alot to make all those errors go away and credit back my coins. I appreciate their attention to the problems. Back to the 5 stars they deserve and I love the game! Update: still going strong; one of the best games on line. I urge you to give it a try! Love it!

This game is so awesome it has great level's and everything is easy to do you can earn coins and buy things and change your name too! But sometimes when your trying to make words it slides to other letters. It doesn't happen to much but overall great game!

Can't pause and switch to another app and come back. Crossword Jam has to restart from. the beginning. Can't play Pandora in the background, the ads cut it out every time a game finishes, then Pandora doesn't start up again and to restart Pandora, you have to leave Crossword Jam, which then has to start up again from the beginning. The game is not that good to go through all the aggravation. More time spent restarting apps than playing the very elementary game. Can't turn volum off on ads

Consistantly freezes, reported many times. Have deleted & reinstalled. Doesn't help. Now, no sound even though deleting/installed again. This is a fun and challenging game. One of the best EXCEPT the reports are either ignored or can't be fixed. Now, a year later, assumed the game to be fixed. Played through Emerald league. Kept freezing, I won first place , playing long hours to win. received acknowledgement but didn't receive my reward prize points. No response From them. Final delete!

Still enjoying this game. However, at times it is frustrating because I will attempt using a word and it will not accept it. However I will attempt the same word again at a later time and it does accept it. This can be very frustrating. I have decided to increase my rating by one point simply because the enjoyability of the game overall. Also, it seems a number of the other word games have the same fault.

I love word games, and this one isn't bad. I find myself consumed in it at times. The ads, though.....omg. Sooooo many ads. Every two puzzles. Sometime after each. It's borderline enough to make me stop playing.

The game is good, but the ads drive me crazy. If I could pay to remove the ads then I would give it 5 stars. I see other post that say you can purchase it in the store, but I can't seem to find where the "store" is located. Well, back to WordScapes.
