Crossword Puzzle Free

I've played this for years now with no issues. It's perfect for relaxing or filling time and works well on a phone screen. I just wish I could pay (OTP, not a sub) to remove the ads. It would be well worth the money for the time I've gotten out of it and the ads take away valuable screen space. They're also a pain to tap around for selecting specific rows and columns.

I love doing crossword puzzles. I just happened to notice this one tonight, tried one, then another & another. I kept telling myself, "just one more", over & over again !! It's fun & relaxing, if you love crossword puzzles as I do. Only problem, too many ads, other than that, I love finishing each puzzle, & Increasing my vocabulary. ENJOY !!

The game is easy to use and actually fun. I have two gripes, however: first, I'm pretty experienced with crosswords, and I would like some more difficult puzzles; second, there should be a space key, so you can skip a letter or two when you have a slight doubt about spelling or which of two similar words is the right one. Make those two improvements and the game is a definite 5 stars.

It was fun for a long time...until recently when, just like a lot of other games, ads pop up when you open it and won't close, making you close the game and go through reopening it! That is extremely annoying! I deleted two games this week because they opened with ads that would not go away after opening the game 5 times in a row! Ads maybe necessary but lately they're counter productive because the more ads that pop up, the less people are going to want to play the games! 😡

This is an early review of the standard crosswords only. Crosswords good. Graphics are very pleasing. App easy to use. Ads are a bit intrusive but I've seen much worse on other free games. Would love to have an override feature on the app. Right now if one of your letters or word is wrong the sequence just overflows into the surrounding cells. I've only done three crosswords but I've already encountered repeated words like "err". Overall, nice app.

I have finally found the perfect crossword app for me. Average level crosswords perfect for relaxing, waiting in the doctor's office or just anywhere. No limits on the amount of crosswords and there are new ones delivered daily. Plus you can choose from a large number of others from another listing of hundreds. Best crossword app I've ever had and I've had scores of them over the years.

as crossword puzzles go , this one ranks pretty high. its quick, you can choose to skip ahead and its user friendly. HOWEVER after playing several games i began to get bored. no bother thought i, its sure to ramp up . nope.nope. nope. next i tried jumping 40 puzzles. more of the same. errr... another 60.and yep...you guessed it . may i suggest a program that has an adjustable challenge variable? being able to choose a gamer can float through it or really heat up the ol synapses. It's alright but buggy. For instance, the last puzzle I worked, it shaded a letter as though it was wrong. It wasn't. Finally I asked it to reveal the puzzle and it displayed Congratulations! The tabbing between spaces/words doesn't work quite right. It goes to the beginning of the next word, rather than to the first open square within that word. There are other issues but fixing these two would sure improve the app

1st timer here, I feel like it's 'missing' something or lacking in the app itself, rather simple/bland but it's a neat time passer (is working your brain2) , interesting, fun. Worth a try if you're a crossword fan. Update: after trying other apps it be helpful if they were numbered & highlight errors as we type instead of after the fact.

Many clues|answers are reused over and over on many puzzles. Consistently asks you to review the app EVERYTIME you close the game, even when you already have or you tell it that you never want to review it. Don't put a never option then ignore it. Intrusive popup ads that interfere with game play, then additional ads when you complete the puzzle.

Addictive! I never played crossword puzzles because my brain just didn't process the clues/hints. This is enjoyable because the clues are short and I can figure it out. It's very addictive for me. I have this same app on my three devices! My only problem is making sure I do a different puzzle on each device! Love it!

First time I tried playing it and I got an ad before it even went to the homepage and then the ad didn't have a way to exit it so I had to tap the back arrow and it exited the game so I can't even play it. So I uninstalled it. Really disappointing.

Very straightforward and easy clues, not particularly challenging. Repetitious clues. Interface annoyances, including not always skipping and filled cells when advancing to the next entry. Doesn't automatically select the first clue when starting. Next clue button is not conveniently located for right handed players.

Ask after I play longer than one game. So Ive played several times.not enough of a challenge for my ability but fast and fun with minimal ads. Sometimes doesn not register as finished until you check solution.If no errors it awards a complete.

I played this all the time. But over the last week it hasnt worked. Shuts down, freezes and jolts when in play. I've updated and uninstalled to reinstall. And the problems are still happening. Such a shame as it was a great crossword game.

I did ALL 400 puzzles and I was disappointed when they didn't say Congrats to finishing all the of them. Also, It could've been a bit more challenging because alot of the puzzles had the same answers. Otherwise, I enjoyed it very much. Thumbs up.

I like the app amd its functionality. Simple and clean. I do wish we could get a new mixup of words from time to time. Seems like a lot of repeats from puzzle to puzzle.

Great variety, difficulty level varies from clue to clue not puzzle to puzzle. Love the check your answer option. Also has a letter fill in if u get stuck but don't want to be given the entire answer. I HIGHLY recommend this app for any1, beginners and pros will all enjoy. Much appreciation to creators & developers for a COMPLETELY FREE game!!

This is a very good crossword game, esp early on when you are earning achievements. Improvements I would like are a timer visible while playing, more achievements (esp for daily puzzles), and a more challenging tier of puzzles, as the ones now are very easy and get repetitive after a while. But overall a good free app!

Satisfying.Make the cursor move to the next space in line instead of starting at the beginning when a correct letter is already in place .Used to get me upset but now used to the idea.Bam ,exciting and educative. Coming in daily bits also help not to get addictive. Wise use of time.What do you mean by exploration game in your question. Don't understand.

Seems like a decent puzzle at first, but then as you I've been completed word it jumps to the next word whichever one that maybe. So if you were in the middle of the word it will just take what you intended to include in that first clue and carried over to the second one which then you got to delete go back to the other one if you happen to notice which one was changed anyways it's a mess uninstalled

Good.. Thanks. Like the semi-easy answers. Some are hard and a little challenging for my level. Like to learn new things. Could be a little harder and more different answers.

Do not install this app unless u want to see countless Biden ads. I'm gonna find a new app to install and uninstalling this one. I've enjoyed using this crossword app for quite some time. But now, I'm being forced to watch ads that up to 2 days ago I was able to back immediately out of them. I'm not happy with having to have no option but to see the one sided liberal political ads. Uninstalling now. Bad decision made on ur side. Late!

The puzzles are good. Challenging as a rule. But the app could function better as toward the end of the puzzle when you are getting the last few words, its a drag going from up to across and getting the cursor to the appropriate letterbox.

I always liked this app. I've had it for years. Play every day. I got a new phone yesterday and the old version did not reload. So I downloaded it on my new phone. Welllll, the old version had no ads. The new version is loaded with ads. And it's hard to get around them. I'm still playing but with some frustration.

Despite an earlier review I found this crossword puzzle to wotk exactly as it should. Very easy to navigate. Pleasantly easy to solve on a quick and to easy. Just what what I was looking for. I'd give it thumbs up.

I haven't had this one long but it's one of the best crossword games I've tried. The ads are not 30 second videos and not annoying. I would like the option of choosing the difficulty level. Most of the puzzles are too easy for me.

Ads are brief, and minimal. Puzzles are fairly easy, and about what I was used to in book form. So, I've really enjoyed this App, so far. But I've said that before about other Apps, then they do some update. So we'll see.
