Crossword Puzzle Free

I love it (normally use it daily on my tablet), but I always check all my answers (against the clues) afterward. Would be really helpful if you could make it so you could use the arrows to navigate between the individual clues. But once the puzzle has been solved, it won't let you do that - you can only touch each word with your finger - takes a while to do that in order to check all of the words. Would really appreciate it if you could make that tweak to the program. Would save me frustration.

I should have waited to check out the format of this well developed crossword before I started whining. I was used to seeing the errors appearing as each clue was entered. WIth this game you have a separate button to push. The game is great!!!!!

The definitions don't match the clues. For instance, the clue was "women in Paris"; the correct definition would be "femmes" but the answer given when I tapped the "show word" button was "elles". BS..and a lot of the clues were clueless.

Really like how the puzzles are set up and how you can personalize the theme and way your board works. I also love the fact that I don't have to sit through a bunch of ads just to do a crossword! Only issues I have is that I need more puzzles more often. I've done them all and don't like to wait until the next day to get more.

I downloaded this game for my nephew (10 years old). Some of the puzzles are easy, some challenging but not too difficult. The downside is that he has caught quite a few errors. This game is not terrible for a free app, but the amount of mistakes, which even a child of average intelligence has found, tells me that better editing of the clues is required.

Good,but flawed. Very basic mistakes. Could be better. One clue reads--- Rock's ___ Speedwagon. Answer, of course, is REO, but they say the answer is SET. ??????? Very well known and very easily researched!!! That was on an easy puzzle, how many mistakes are in a hard puzzle?

Very nice puzzles. Not too hard or too easy. Ads not that bad. Only one puzzle I tried to do and couldn't because the answers were not words! Just letters that made you sound out answer. Only one like that. Keep up the good work with real answers!

one of my favorite crosswords!! don't have to use lots of coins just to be able to see the wrong letters. I love being able to know what I miss as soon as I miss it!! will definitely be my only crossword app now :)

Enjoyable crossword app. Been playing it for awhile and there's no tricks or microtransaction traps. Lots of good difficulty options, so it should cater to a lot of skill levels.

I'm usually really good at puzzles, but this, even on the first level I had no idea what most of the questions were asking. The words were very hard to get, and some I had never heard of before. Unless you are the smartest person in the world, don't try this.

This game...The ads will get stuck often leaving you to exit the entire game. Ads after every puzzle then waiting until the ads are done, but there is no way to "x" out of the ads, there is no "x". The kicker was one of the clues led to the word "ghetto." I am done.

This is a very good bare bones crossword game. There are plenty of puzzles of varying difficulties and they are all free. There are few ads in comparison to other games. Overall, it is great. The only thing I can complain about is that there are a lot of clues dealing with foreign language. These are hard if you don't want to cheat by looking up clues on the internet. I recommend it.

Overall, a great game that I've played for years. I give lots of credit to the developers. The reason for the "so-so" rating is that clues, and sometimes words, are clearly wrong; misspelled and/or misleading. Otherwise, pretty solid 👍

Great game until some idiot puzzle designer thought that X and Y plots on a graph were called axes... Must be a millenial. X and Y plots on a graph are called AXIS not axes.

Too many duplicate clues game to game. I'm a pretty good crossword puzzle player and sometimes I never figure out how the clue and answer are related. Still a decent way to pass the time unless I'm forced to watch a 30 second video to proceed. I move on to something else then.

Found the same words repeated multiple times on different puzzles. Content includes a lot of American trivia, which it does clearly say in the description but still I wasn't expecting quite so much as every puzzle I've played had some trivia I ended up having to use a reveal on. Lastly, I play games to relax and there is a timer constantly judging me and demanding my attention that can't be disabled which kinda doesn't work for how I play games.

Just what I wanted in a crossword puzzle. No scores or timing or prizes. Just a puzzle that allows me to exercise my brain!

Not enough easy puzzles. I am almost 80 yrs old and love the easy puzzles even tho sometimes they are not that easy. LoL

I'm enjoying it so far. Doing the daily and the hard ones are definitely challenging. Medium will tab your brain at times. Easy is , well, easy.

Have enjoyed playing Classic Crosswords for many years. Retired now but worked in several different fields, was a USAF classroom and field instructor for over 20 years. Still have fun completing crossword puzzles.

I just installed this app and the first thing I noticed was it doesn't have a dark mode setting. What a tragedy.

Not many apps with full newspaper format crosswords. Good interface, lots of welcome configuration tweaks, and a nice variety of difficulty.

Thank you for making a great game that isn't riddled with coins or recurring premium purchases.

I love this game, but with the most recent update, it won't open. Just sticks on the open screen. Emailed about two days ago, but have received no response as of yet. Will change rating if fixed and responded to.

Not a bad crossword game for free; would be better if you could turn off ads.

Normally love this game and play daily. Getting better at hard ones. BUT since three days will not open and don't know why. Just shows beginning logo. Want to catch up on daily puzzles and keep playing. Please advise.

Excellent app. Downloaded in seconds. Uses little storage. Works smoothly. No distractions. No ads until end of puzzle.

Great puzzles except for the fact there's too many repeats.
