Crossword (US)

This is a really good crossword. It's pretty easy to figure out, the clues are culturally appropriate for standard American English, and you can get as little or as much help from the app as you want. There are no ads, no system of winning coins to buy from the play store, etc. Just plain simple game. I don't know yet if there are harder levels...probably, I just haven't researched it yet. I'd say it starts out at a medium level.

Love this app, tried every crossword app at the time but this one was great so i bought it. The only problem, theres no way to back up progress if you have to reset your phone or you buy a new one. I finished many puzzles but lost all progress when i upgrade. After losing the progress i even tried to copy the files from my old phone but it didnt work. Im begging you, the developers to update the app with a game save file, maybe sync it with google drive, something so we dont lose our games.

I found this crossword app while looking for something else. This app is the greatest! I love crosswords, even though they're too hard for me, it's the challenge that keeps me interested. This one does have some helpers, perfect. The best thing about this app, it's in landscape mode 😊 I use a 10" tablet and that's my preferred use. Thank you!

I completed several puzzles even though the interface is quite clunky. But I thought this was supposed to be a puzzle using American terminology. Most of the words are not even words that Americans use. Almost everything is either British or Australian. For example a Ute is an Australian term for a car/pickup hybrid. It is not a term that Americans use at all.

Easy to navigate, and I like being able to select the letters easily. My hands are clumsy and fat fingertips, other crosswords have been a bad experience when I can't even select a square.. I also appreciate the many variaties of puzzles to choose from.. Excellent job guys....👍

Just plain crossword which is what I wanted. The US puzzles are very slightly different from UK, but not too different and still very doable. Didn't realise there was even a difference between UK and US crosswords. Being a US crossword at least you know the spelling is probably different. And the Teazle format is great.

Great app that's easy to use. It's very informative and educational. I haven't done crosswords for years, so it's definitely helping me get back in there. I like that it gives so many ways to help get unstuck in the puzzle. Great learning experience.

The UI is so frustrating, oh my god. 99% of the time when I want to click next it just swaps it from vertical/horizontal lol. Also felt some of the hints were frustratingly broad in clusters where context doesn't narrow it

I hate that I can deleted correctly input letters. It's so annoying. The clues tabs aren't actually clues. It's just the word in a different spot. You still have to keep entering letters until you get the right one.

Works great on my S8. Doesn't work at all on my new Acer Chromebook. I tried changing settings so I could use the physical keyboard but it won't accept input. Please fix!

Good clean fun! Some more challenging than others. Dig the variety and the fact that clues aren't repetitive throughout. Well done!

Deducted one star because, despite being the American edition, there are plenty of British-isms that the average American wouldn't know (British veterans "demob" instead of being discharged from the military, at which time they take off their uniforms and don "mufti" instead of "civvies;" a pickup truck is a "ute;" etc). Otherwise, I love it and am on my 3rd go-round.

Thank you developer!!! I know it's not always possible...but no ads...so unusual. Enjoyable anyway for a "Crossworder"...no ads makes this App just a bit better than most.

Would like to have the Red blocks appear when a mistake is made, as in the UK version. Otherwise, I'm enjoying the app. Not too easy; not too hard.

Great app. The puzzles are challenging yet not TOO much so. The app itself is easy to use and doesn't have 1000000 ads.

Some odd clues, not enough context. Need to use in conjunction with Google or other crossword help. Like the reveal word or reveal letter clues.

Enjoying this crossword game. Doing the very easy ones for now and the clues make sense to me. The interface is very easy to use. Just what I wanted!

Good crossword app. The author does violate crossword rules by using proper names contractions and a few other strange words.

Love that I could purchase this app and not have to watch stupid ads. Love the customizable settings, too. Easy to use and understand.

Like the way it's both challenging and easy. Don't like the way you have to spend money to get more puzzles.

Great puzzles, and there are tons of them. Some are challenging, some not so much. Good balance.

My eyesight is getting worse so solving crosswords on paper or in a book has become difficult so using this app I can now enjoy crosswords again.

Great puzzles. Not too easy and no adds during solving and no ads when requesting a clue.

The keybosrd is hard to manage. I can't find the word lists for the acrosd and down options on the puzzle.

I have experienced this crossword app. Commercials are not as invasive as on other apps, thanks.

Too many puzzles we have to pay for but the ones you can play in each pack are not too easy, I like it
