I had heard good things about this app through a friend who uses it constantly. I uploaded a photo in portrait orientation and when I'd try to post it through the app to my Instagram it would change the orientation to landscape EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Got frustrated 10 minutes into using the app and is currently uninstalled. I don't know what the issue might've been, hoping that it wasn't an option I'd have to be a subscribed member to post in the correct orientation of the photo. I was hoping this would be the one but I've been forced to keep on searching.
It's ok. Crowdfire used to be a lot better, but it has lost a lot of features due to social media policy changes. Instead of replacing them they want to charge you extra for new features. Tried talking to their help about it limiting the amount of fans it prompts me to follow back and how rotating my articles in my blog is no longer apart of prescriptions. Help was responsive, bur not very helpful, I eventually gave up on trying to solve the problems.
I signed up and scheduled a post. All fine, until I tried to log in again and the desktop and app have no recollection of my account to login. I have the email and password saved in Google so I know I set it up. I don't know if the post I made is saved anywhere. I like the idea of the curating recommendations but mine was all Australian news for some reason and not really related to my selected topic. Oh well, good concepts, need some adjustments with the execution.
Several bugs. Booted out of desktop app, webpage is often down or inaccessible. Can't connect Instagram profile because buttons don't work when it requires you to have an IG for Business account, even though I do. The interface is good, shame it just has so many niggling issues that make it time consuming or impossible to use in some scenarios.
This app is brilliant. It's made sorting my social media profiles really simple especially with the schedule feature. One issue is that the blog posts on my site have a grey box where the image should be despite many images in each article. If it could pull images from the article directly that would save time as of now that's the only negative. I would happily upgrade to a paid plan if it posted images with my blog posts. Please fix that and you've won me over!
Destroys your imagery! I'm not sure what the app does when it uploads to Instagram but it absolutely trashes the quality of the picture. I moved from the Later app to see what it was like. I will be moving back to Later. One positive it has going for it is that you can opt to post at the best time for your audience. But once you've done this once, you know the time...so take that info and post through an app with better picture quality. Disappointing, Crowdfire!
Videos aren't loading to post to social media and you don't have access to published or scheduled posts from app
It is a shame there isn't the facility to post automatically to Instagram like there is with Twitter and Facebook. It kind of defeats the point of having a post scheduler if I still have to post all the details anyway. If they could figure that out it would have been 5 stars. I am currently on the free plan, and don't see any need to subscribe with the Instagram situation as it is. If it were to post automatically I would consider paying for the service.
App was probably good, but it can't post anything having partial ability to annoy 100%....definitely don'tpay for it I'm guaranteeing you. New rules say no 3rd party postings. It's 3rd party...it can post to Instagram, kinda, but it will only send the image. None of the story, or text. Makes the post almost pointless unless just a pic. They said there's a way around it, but I tried to hard for it to be worth anymore complicated. sorry to blast on your app, it seemed like it was good before.
I try over and over to turn off this apps terrible notifications for the most random things about twice a day and it keeps coming back! It's beyond annoying!!! I don't care crowdfire! Your app works well and does what it should but over and over I've turned off your pointless irrelevant notifications only to have them come back over and over.
This app is useless. And it's sad because I kept it for months hoping that one day it would work. I just tried connecting my account for the last time tonight. It either connects and doesn't load stats, or refuses to connect.
This isn't a review on crowdfire itself - i want to finish the trial first before I judge. But this is a review on the app. Desktop is great. Great ui and one of the few schedulers that works with tiktok. But I accepted the 14day trial on desktop and apparently that doesn't roll over to the app. You have to open and use the app to post (ig rules) but the emphasis is on a useless news feed of blog posts, it's hard to find YOUR feed, & accounts don't connect. Needs redesign!
Like many other apps it does not automatically post to Instagram. However I do not get regular notifications of when to post and therefore miss the slots suggested. I have also just discovered that all my group facebook posts for the last month have never been posted and there is no explanation as to why this is. I am disgusted to think I have been paying just under £10 A month for this device when actually it has not reduced my work load for posting as it is meant to!
App has changed over the last 12 months, not as good as it used to be.
Worthless! Nothing but connectivity errors. The only app not working. Uninstalling 👎 Had just installed it. Started app and each time a box popped up saying connectivity errors. Couldn't get past the error so kept looking for an app that works. 9/21/2020 Tried again, incredibly still nothing but connectivity errors. I won't try again.
This is a very terrible app. Adviced not to bother with it. I've had a premium for a year now and it's expired even though I didn't get to use it. But that's not even the issue. I can't login to either my newer accounts be it Instagram or Twitter. It keeps telling me "you're not authorized to use this app" even though I already got to confirm my email and every thing. My older account login automatically when I use the app and I can't even delete my own account?!? Would rate 0 stars if possibl
Worst app ever. Within the five min of the download I got 100s of problems. I was connected to my personal Instagram account automatically which I didn't want. Didn't let me connect to my business account after that. The app kept kicking me out when I tried to disconnect the wrong account that got connected. I wouldn't even give it 1 star if I could.
Pointless in 2022. Doesn't do much that you can't do through the apps themselves now. Canceled.
The major disadvantage which is compelling me to switch from this app is that it doesnt support smooth scheduling for ypur connected LinkedIn account. And its so annoying to check up your emails to reconnect every time. And a numbe rof times Instagram switch doesnt happen. The one job of smooth posting for which we rely on them doesnt work. What else should I stick for.
So far, it's very user-friendly. The only con is that you can't rearrange post that were previously posted to your feed, only future posts that are pre-planned. I mention this because the rearranging feature is why I originally downloaded it.
For some reason when I let it post pictures to my Instagram, the pictures are always looking poorly quality wise. This was a problem in the beta times, but apparently it still hasn't been resolved. The app is however handy to remind yourself when and what to post.
I have tried all the other apps to to social media most and this is the best and cheapest! Epic! Content curation is totally the best. Minus it is usually not a lot of things from the U.S.A., which is where I live. The other only downside is the Insta posts pictures do not post good a lot of the time. But other than those few things, it is perfect!
I have not received one reply to any of my support request. I foolishly paid as I have multiple accounts to manage, and have not been able to add an account. So of course I reached out for help with this and no one has responded. I requested to cancel as the service will renew and all I've gotten is sent through loops. I'm disappointed for sure
I had the app on a previous smartphone and it worked way better back then. Now the prescriptions won't work at all and I find it harder to find what I'm searching for. It's not user friendly. I don't see why I would even try the payed app if the free does't at give me a little satisfaction. Giving it another week to see if somehow it starts to work but if not, bye bye.
Previous problem now solved and all working as it should. Saves me a lot of time and effort. Even with it not posting directly to Instagram, all I have to do is select the photos and past the copied text.
