All your app needs to add is Picture-In-Picture while the app is closed (rather than going to audio-only), make videos reload when there's poor connectivity, the ability to remember your place in an episode more consistently and across all your devices, and the ability to save Favorite Shows so they'll show up at the top of the interface and it'll be perfect. From higher fidelity than on YouTube to a live chat function to bonus content, this app is definitely worth the money!

The only app I have that forces me into full screen mode. I have to swipe up to access my home/back button which usually causes a video to start playing. No option to watch a video with the phone vertical. No option to have picture on picture playback. I joined mug club not realizing I was signing up for blaze. If they would simplify things and make it easier to only access the content you're interested in instead of trying to look like a super slick netflix it would be more user friendly.

Great app for watching Louder with Crowder. I only occasionally browse the others, but LwC is the main show I watch. The background playback is a godsend, but video player could use a small bit of work, maybe resolution options, double-tap options for forward and back skipping, and that's about it. Not sure if it streams audio only when in background or A&V, but an audio only option would be awesome for staying under my data cap. Love the app, keep fighting the good fight!

Edit: I dropped it to one star, still so many issue and no sign of being fixed. Videos looses where I left off constantly. If I leave the app and come back the aspect ratio turns to 4:3. If you loose any service while watching, it will try to auto play the next video while also not saving where you left off in the current video. It's hard to back out of the app as my notification bar and home buttons are hard to get back within the app. On 4g it buffers for 30s for 3secs of playback.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy S20, so I don't know if this occurs on other phones phones. This app used to work just fine but now it only plays videos for a minute or two then cuts the video off and sends me back to the titles page. When you go back to the video it starts everything over from the beginning again.. I can't possibly be the only one having this problem. Paying the full subscription price and not being able to use an app is extremely frustrating.

This app is lacking compared to similar apps. I've been using this app for 2-3 weeks now and I have 2 major issues so far. 1. When casting to my Google ChromeCast, if you don't have the app showing on the phone, it stops casting after the current video ends, it will not continue on to the next episode. Isn't that what the background playback is suppose to do? 2. The episodes do not play in the correct order, it plays all the episodes in reverse order. It needs some improvement to work correctly.

Terrible app. If your signal wanes in and out, forget it. It will constantly skip back to a previous video rather than continue to load the rest of the video you are trying to watch. Super annoying. No ability to download for offline viewing. Terribly clunky interface with super sensitivity to swipe. Start the video and set your phone down. Don't touch it! Or else it will swipe to a different video. You can rewind 15 seconds by a clunky button, but can not fast foward. Don't try to swipe up eith

This app runs for 15 to 30 seconds and then crashes, over and over and over. Is it the app or maybe my internet. Deleted and added app and checked for updates to no avail. Restarted the router. Happens on my Frotier internet on ROKU TV, Samsung galaxy s10 using ROKU and Verizon and both devices using AT&T. Have emailed Blaze, who pretty much blew me off. Beyond frustrating to get no help. FYI--I experienced the same thing to a much lesser extent with Rush Limbaugh's app. ISP throttling?

I love the app and the content. But it would be great to have an audio only version (or setting) so it uses less data from my cell plan. Even with the screen turned off it still streams both the audio and video, which is more data usage than audio only. Please help. Thanks!

Good content but terrible app. There is no pause and rewind for live shows like you get with YouTube. If you don't catch the live show you have to wait up to three days for the content to be posted. When you do catch the live show it freezes all the time so you miss half of it anyway. If this app was free I could understand a few hiccups here and there, but paying about $100 per year this is unacceptable. It's been 5 months no updates or improvements. Support is unwilling to help.

I love the content, but the app is very poor, and there needs to be a lot of improvement. I contacted the developers about my thoughts, they did respond thanking me for my input but a year later I see no changes. Biggest problems in the player: 1. When playing a video and you lose connection it skips to the next video. 2. Some times retains place marker. 3. No skip ahead. 4. I cant find a way to download to watch with poor net connection. 5. Can only view videos in landscape mode.

First off, the content is awesome so that is in no way an issue. The app is lackluster in its implementation. It's missing key features to put it on par with other media apps, the ability to rewind live content as if you start even a few minutes into a live video, you'd have to wait until the next day to see what you missed which the full video should be available immediately after the live stream ends. The app also freezes when cell signal gets too low requiring an app restart.

The app is...Ok. I'd like to have a picture in picture function, little window down at the bottom of my screen so I can still watch the video while browsing. There is some seriously goofy performance bugs, for instance when I run it in the background then open the app the video is off center making it virtually useless. Get rid of the side quick wheel or at least let me turn it off. The other thing I'd like is an app on the Xbox store, instead of casting to my tv.

This is absolutely terrible. Automatically goes into full screen with no way to get out of full screen, disables My phone's controls, has a weird chat bubble that appears and covers the entire screen anytime you touch the screen, no quick fast, forward no quick rewind, no easy pause just a terrible interface. I'll stick to using the web browser for the remainder of my subscription. Awesome content ruined by terrible design.

This app is straight out of 2010. So many bugs and issues. If it was my go-to for conservative information, I would never use or recommend this app. Various bugs and issues with casting, no picture in picture, and more. It would be nice for blaze to acknowledge the issues and make some changes. (In response to developer comment) Ok I am looking forward to this update. If it is satisfactory I will update my review accordingly. (After update) The app is still filled with all the same bugs.

I can't play a single video. It keeps telling me playback unavailable on every video I try to watch. Not to mention all the buffering and freezing. It's extremely frustrating.. Additional details added: there are NO videos shown on the app. They've completely disappeared!

Love the app, an improvement I think would be great if yall aren't already working on it, is that once the live versions of the shows finish they automatically archive. I can't watch live and they don't usually archive the full episodes for a few hours after the show actually ends so it can be difficult to find time to watch the shows by the time they are archived. Otherwise, keep doing what you're doing. :]

Awesome! A very smooth, easy to use app that lets me view all my favourite Blaze shows whenever I want. I have had no problems using it, be it on my device or casting to my TV. I'm very happy, thus far, with everything on offer. Top notch app, shows and customer service. 5*+++++

Dragging skips to the next video, so it is REALLY hard to drag up the android control bar so you can navigate your phone while using this app. Also the memory function for resuming videos just doesn't work and brings you to random videos where you may have stopped halfway because you wanted to rewatch an interview. This means if you jump out of the video you were watching while trying to drag open your control bar you are screwed.

This app has been very good so far. I have been a member for a few months now and the app seems to function just fine. Everything is located where you would assume it would be so there is no issues finding what I am looking for, and there is a variety of content to suite just about anyone. The player seems to function good as well, with no hangups so far.

App has stopped working a few times. Through the years. Galaxy s8 s10 and now my s21 periodically will just stop running the app. Takes multiple Uninstall and reinstall to get it to work. Also seems like the app has had very little progress through out the years. Feels clunky and out of date. Hope this all gets fixed soon because I love the service
