CryptoCharts Widget - Bitcoin & Altcoin Ticker

It's nice to have some charts on my homescreen, but they don't seem to ever update. I have it set to 1 hour candlesticks with 15 minute updates, and regularly find that it hasn't updated for hours. Simply tapping the widget updates it, but I want it to always be accurate. I want it to be there so I have a chance to passively notice opportunities while I'm doing something else. The concept doesn't work unless it's constantly updating in the background whenever the screen is lit.

It's good except...the full screen ads. Seriously, what's wrong with just banner ads??? Aren't banner ads good enough for you?? You really don't need to shove a FULL SCREEN ad in our face whenever we use the app. It doesn't happen all the time but now, I'm scared to have the stupid app open for longer than 30 seconds because I know that a full acreen ad will be shoved in my face at any second, completely haulting my usage of the app. Other than the whole ad issue, I like it.

Very, very cool app. Has a huge choice of exchanges and cryptos, it´s the best crypto-widget, i found. I love the compact version, so i can place many different coins side by side on one homepage, to compare them at quick glance. Guys, if you get "network error" messages often, just exclude only this app from the battery optimization of your phone (battery consumption will still be minimal). I just would like to be able to pay for a ad free version (but the ads are not too intrusive anyway). Love it.

I quite enjoy this app. It does mostly what it promises. I also accepted the really annoying full screen ads but what really is not acceptable are those network errors all the time. Today I get this non informative error message the whole day. Manually refresh function has no effects. The app is running the adds are popping up except the information I need. Often this happens just for a short period of time.. ok.. but it became more frequently. Hope this issue will be fixed permanently soon. Thx

It's a great app. Just as with others, i too get the network error from time to time and the app doesn't work after that. Today, and this might help others, I noticed if I turned on a VPN, it stopped working. Once I turned the VPN off, the app didn't get the network error anymore. Hope that helps some of you out there with the same issue and helps supports figure this mystery out for what is otherwise the best widget out there for crypto prices.

Always wanted to have a crypto charts widget on my phone so I could check movements with just a glance. These other widgets that only show the current price are not nearly as useful as this, if you're trading! This one is perfect!! The design is good, it's easy to use, has a lot of options to customize how the charts are displayed.

This worked fine until lately. Now it just says "network error". The config backend is useless too, as you can't enter an exchange or currency at all after the random redesign. The only advice I see from other comments is to "upgrade to the latest version." All of my apps are always on the latest version, including this one. I suggest the developer does the exact opposite and rolls back the app to an earlier version. One that worked.

Such a good app that unfortunately doesn't work. When it works it's fantastic but more often that not you get the dreaded "network error". At first I thought it was a wifi issue but it started happening on 5g as well. This needs to be a $10 app and the money should go into a better server. AWS or someone. I hope it gets fixed someday because I really like it but it was unusable.

Edit: used to be awesome but the last update made the widget extremely slow and the typography on the app is now weird with dates with a bigger size than the other numbers on the chart, wich throws the whole chart schematics off (Samsung s8 on the latest update). I hope everything gets fixed soon otherwise I'll be forced to either downgrade or uninstall it. Old review: Awesome app! I only wish it had a price alarm so i wouldn't need to use another app for it! Worth the download for sure.

I like this widget. My only request would be to set up a small file that stores the previous set up used on the last chart launched so that setting up many charts on many screens is a less time intensive process. In my experience I reuse pretty much all of the same options over and over but since my preferences are not stored, i have to type them in over and over Thank you.

This app was awesome, but now every one of my charts has been saying network error for a long time now and it has been fixed. Of course this is happening during a strong bull run too. I'm very close to uninstalling this app and finding a new one. Maybe this app should be renamed to "Network error"

Very helpful and acurate. It became the most important app/widget for my phone from a year till now. Thanks developer. The only problem im facing with this widget is, dont know why it doesnt refresh on wifi connection while my connection is perfectly stable but it works well on mobile data. it worked flawlessly before on the same wifi network it just isnt working from a week or two. hope the developers will fix it or help me out on this issue. Thanks for this wonderful app.

The best widgets for alt-coins I've been able to find. Now it just needs audible alerts for percentage changes. It used to work great some months ago, now it works for a few days and then shows network error for days. In the current crypto market, this is unacceptable. Removing this app and switching to TradingView.

Used to be great until the latest update. Update 1.3.1 added fullscreen unskippable video ads, terrible for a homescreen widget. I just reinstalled the old version 1.3.0, that was so much better with only banner ads, 1.3.1 made it unusable with these ads, especially the way I use it where I change the widget settings repeatedly to see different timespans.

Devs' you broke it! These were great widgets but something has broken and now its continually "network error". I've tried resizing as per a previous suggestion but this has no effect. It will work using mobile data but not WiFi, which is how I connect 95% of the time. Such a shame.

Yup. These SUPER NOISY ads are unbearable. I'm happy to pay for the app to get rid of them, but there's no option to do that?! Your unstoppable ads would rather wake everyone in my house. Classic example of a product that was built by people who don't use it. C'mon!

Just taking attention, will fix rating after replay. I've dreamed about such app for a long time. But there are two problems - increadibly long loading of widget settings activity (> 1min) And network error. It's Always appearing on LTE (actually widget not showing any data), on Wi-Fi it sometimes loads data, but anyway shows network error very often. Impossible to use now:( I have custom DNS in my router and censorship of my ISP is mainly DNS-based. Can you pls consider adding socks5 settings?

Great app, Only issue is that ADA/GBP pair shows incorrect rate, for example 1.96 instead of the actual rate of 0.96. Otherwise it's great 👍 10/09/21 update Seems like the rate error happens to quite a few pairs which is annoying as you can't tell whether a cryptocurrency has actually gone up or down.

Functions-wise the best crypto widget as of now. Flexible, lots of options, easy to read even on a small device. However, I need to replace all the widgets from time to time because the just stop working.

Widget is excellent, I use it all the time. There is one annoying bug, the price of an asset is shown sometimes one dollar above the real prize like XTZ this morning on the widget was 6.9$ but actual price on the market - 5.9$. I will be grateful also for an option to pay and get rid of all those ads.

When it works it works fine but repeatedly the widget gives network errors for days and it doesn't update. At this moment it is again not working but I noticed its now only giving network error on wifi. When switch wifi off it does update. I'm sure it's not the wifi network itself that causes the error because everything else is working fine.

Solid app. Used it daily for six months, with three separate widgets. Unfortunately I just got a new phone and in the process of setting up this app, I got hit with fullscreen ads three times in three minutes, so I'm uninstalling now.

Constant "Network Error" messages on WiFi only. Works on regular cell network. Resizing, reinstalling, etc.. doesn't fix it. Uninstalling. UPDATE Jan. 28th: reinstalled and tried again, but still won't work on WiFi. Fix that and I'll use it.

This widget has the best display. 5 stars for that. Unfortunately I added too many widgets and have apparently used up my quota on the service that it uses to get quotes... SO it works (for now) if i switch to 5G, but not on my home wifi... I was also getting random network errors before that though, especially when switching networks. The website for the widget seems to be gone too. It's a shame.

Thank you for the great app, I appreciate your work.. However, I noticed two issues. 1. I have a widget Coinbase ETH/EUR If I set zoom till 6h (no matter which period), data is correct. If I choose zoom from 12h and more, widget Showing incorrect price 2. Configuration icon is not clickable. If I add a new widget somewhere on the screen, both issues are gone. Last price is ok and Configuration icon working as it should. I have Xiaomi Redmi Note 7
