Cryptohopper - Trading bot and Portfolio Manager

Update to my earlier review below: The latest app improvements are excellent! Thank you for making these changes. So much better! LOVE Cryptohopper - app needs work. The app is great if you just want to take a peak at your positions, but the layout is not great. I prefer using a browser on my phone, if i need to adjust settings or more detail about a position. I hope they make improvements!

signals/strategies/templates are a no good . Report to ftc.gov. I would not recommend. // don't refund when they are in the wrong. I purchase a signal and didn't work from the beginning - and wouldn't refund -- even after 30 minutes. they lie and say, oh don't worry - it will work -- it doesn't. I am not using their service any more so I get my money back. HA HA!!. PLUS I REPORT. AND WILL CONTINUE TO REPORT TO FTC.GOV. . HOPEFULLY GOOGLE WILL TAKE YOU OFF THEIR PLAY LIST.

No deposit section in paper trading, confusing menue. Very bad UI. Not worth of even one star. Would be nice to make training video for mobile app. There too much going on.

Epic fail signed up on desktop with Gmail and when signing in on app there's no sign in with Gmail and when I enter my Google ID it fails every time. On top of that I tried to do simple trial on paper trading to see how it works and the bot wouldn't even run as it kept telling me I had too many hoppers enabled when I had only ONE!!! Wasted hours configuring. Seem it wants people to subscribe for it to work even work.

Disaster. Just updated to version 2. My hopper has disappeared and the text in the app is massive and overwrites other text. Cant believe this wasn't tested, before it was released.

The app is unusable unfortunately. I currently have 26 hoppers (bots) in my account because every time I open the app it forces me to complete the tutorial to to create my "first" hopper. Then once it is created I can't load strategies or templates or make it function at all.

Recent update is terrible. Very slow, no option for fingerprint login. Many features aren't working. It's like they did zero testing before pushing the update.

Very impressive system. It does take some learning but the help videos and text are very well created. Some of the trading language takes a while to sink in. All that said, I've now got it working and it's doing a lovely job as far as I can tell. My only criticism is that it could have a one click, out of the box setting. Just click and go! But I guess it doesn't because of changing markets etc. I'll pop back in a few months and probably give it 5 stars when I know what I'm doing 😂

CH is more robust and user friendly than its competitors, but the app and customer service are both AWFUL. CS just pastes in unrelated generic responses or collects a piece of information at a time until you give up on the back and forth. The app lacks some basic functionality that is available on the website (eg removing, splitting positions), and while frustrating, that isnt the deal breaker. The biggest problem is its 99% failure to load the current positions page and frequent crashing.

It need work. The app is great for quickly peeking at your hoppers performance, however it crashes constantly. The app will randomly log me out if I refresh. Sometimes it will show me data from the wrong hopper. The Stats section is a mess. The app needs a lot of work and does not represent the true quality that CH is capable of. Their web platform is amazing compared to their app.

The Cryptohopper itself is GREAT... The app for Android? Not so much. Often doesn't connect to the hopper, and when it does... it's just not a very good UI. Basically all I ever use the app for is to make a quick check on my positions to see whether or not I need to sign in on the desktop site and take care of something; change the configuration, sell some positions, etc... because doing anything other than checking on positions is not intuitive on the app.

Really good app when it works, does exactly what it says on the tin. However I have to restart the app several times in a row and have to log out and back in multiple times for it to work, this is a real disappointment and honestly a big let down for the company as this intermittentcy will push people away fortunately I have a good experience with the company even if the app is very hit and miss, I'm sure this will be investigated and patched in the near future Hopefully fix the instability 🤞

App works well I like it. It only lacks the function of being able to alter your strategies and signals from within the app. I have to use my phone's browser for that which I find rather annoying to have an app but still have to go through browser for stuff I really need to access. But overall am happy with the service and happy with the app.

They had a good looking and functioning app but they recently changed it a lot and now it's terrible. Barely functional now. Please change it back.

Slow sync. I can't see my opens. I raised ticket to support and nothing is happening. they ignore Android version so badly and people are not happy

The app is awful. You change tabs and it freezes on the splash screen again. The actual service is also pretty buggy. Had everything set up and trades were happening, then all of a sudden the dashboard went super slow then went wonky and started displaying JSON. API key settings went funny, latest config changes don't always reflect on the dashboard. Hoppers take ages to actually show. Don't have much confidence in it.

There is huge knowledgebase of training tutorials and the controls provided are great. It would also be nice if pictorically/graphically you can show how each rule/strategy/or bot when run makes the decision that that take.. Backtesting is great but I spent 1 whole night (sat till 5am the next day) to figure out some of the implications of each rule.. Still fully not clear..

Been using for a little while now. It's useful to have the app however there's a lot of things that I have to switch to the Chrome app on my phone to go to the website that seems to be very well tailored to a phone screen. Get that person to manage the front end of this app. Just port the whole web interface to this app and it'll be great.

I downloaded the app, tried to register and join. And to my dismay, I was then told my ip address was blocked! Don't know why they would block my ip, I never even knew they existed until just now while I was searching for another app. Strange? I wish I could have given it zero stars. But had to settle for 1. So.e bullshiz!

Nice to have an app, but so limited on functionality. To do most things, you must still got to the web interface. Recently it stopped showing the stats page altogether. It is unfortunate that it cannot provide a better interface to a decent service.

I'm very satisfied with Cryptohopper and highly recommend it for day trading. It took me a while to get a strategy that worked for me, but it appears to have been well worth it. I recommend paper trading and backtesting extensively before using any real money. Once you master the initial learning curve, you will feel much more secure and confident that you can weather any trend or market. It will also be a valuable asset during the next alt-season and halvening events. Thank you CryptoHopper team!

Can't log in, just says account not activated or log in details wrong, but my log in details are correct as I can access it online. Contacted support but got an unhelpful answer saying that it won't be fixed as developing the app. Seems like this app shouldn't even be live yet? CryptoHopper online is great. Loads of useful tutorials for beginners to set up your hopper & you can try it for free & have a dummy (paper) hopper to practice your settings. I'd recommend that but not this App yet!

bad full with bugs. again new release is very bad. when i place order nothing happened and other things. why u installed a new version with dangerous bugs......

Its a decent app. Does not have all the bells and whistles that is on the website but does its job. One very important feature I liked was the push notification. I have no idea why they removed this which for me renders the app less useful. Hope you will get that feature back soon.
