"Bait and switch"? Consistantly shows low priced flights. Great, but.... once you start the booking process it states that the deal is no longer available. This would be fine if the same "unavailable" deal wasn't still listed as available 5 - 10 mins later...uninstalled. Transitioned to Travelocity to flawlessly finalize my plans.
Lousy app. It shows great deals but you can never purchase the deals at the price. Tried reaching out to the instargram page but there was no response despite multiple tries. Called up the customer service and they told me deal ended. I have reached out to then days before and now they tell me deal ended yesterday. 🤷♀️
I have almost never left a review comment but that absolutely terrible experience needs to be recorded. I purchased a roundtrip ticket via Trip, was only issued the return ticket and the initial leg of the trip was cancelled. How does a company only issue one part of the tricket? As it took me days to find this out (I had to contact them) I needed to cancel my whole trip as there are now no other flights available. They also will not refund the return leg. I will never be using this app again.
Convenient interface and helpful support when it comes to hotels, whereas flight tickets are tricky and bookings can't be modified, there is no adding extra luggage or changing any details of the booking at all. Also they don't deal with all listed properties directly, occasionally operating via mysterious "partners" who might be responsible for your sudden lack of accomodation that you paid for.
Actually a really good app and company. App is slick and has lots of useful features, but best of all, you can actually message a real human being 24/7 and they reply quickly and try to help. I shouldn't be amazed by this but I am.
Instead of a $25 hold like most hotel has, they asked us for a $390 hold. Our card wouldn't work during that time because it was a big amount and we didn't tell our bank we were leaving the state. It was a hassle for an hour but we made it in. Other than that we got it for a great price and it was a great hotel.
Kind of misleading. Started with a web search showing a room available, but needed an account to access the deal. I downloaded the app, only to find the room was "sold out". I doubt it was ever available in the first place. Also the app spams me with notifications. Even worse, there's a 7 day waiting period to delete my account (linked to Google).
The settings for notifications for promotions keep turning on by themselves. Have turned them off but suddenly would start receiving spam email. Would definitely avoid using this app.
I booked a hotel earlier and it says that it was not submitted. But after 2 hrs my bank texted me that I paid for the hotel. Not just 1 time but 3 times. How come I booked at the same hotel at same day at same time for 3 times that I only booked it one time. The bank deducted me already & I called the app costumer support they told that the booking was not successfully processed but they deducted my credit card and my bank wont refund my money. This is the worst app I've ever. Return my money!
I love this app! I've been using it to book flights, hotels and even trains all over the world with ease. The point system is also great and saves me money at times 👌🏼 highly recommend and very reliable.
Good prices, good app, but if you are a european company beware. They do not issue invoices to european companies, only to chinese companies (I guess we are not that important). So we cannot deduct travel expenses, etc. Their reply, they are not obligated to issue invoices (they could though) because it's a singaporean company.
I've never reviewed an app before but the shocking customer service that Trip provides has caused me to. Trip state their app is the best way to amend bookings. What they don't state is that the app is deliberately misleading. Information on the app related to changing bookings is just plain wrong. After you make a change via the app you get several emails from different people in customer service saying the charges have changed multiple times with no explanation or ability to ask. Awful service
Fantastic! I am a digital nomad and I have used this app to fly from EU to South America and to the Canary Island, always finding the best prices on the market. When I am saying to people how much I paid for my tickets they can’t believe it! I always recommend this app to all my friends. It takes a little bit to explore all possibilities of this app. So take your time to play around with all its possibilities! Since I discovered it I am not even bother to use other websites.
Absolutely the worst company to book flights with. Modifications or date changes are impossible. Customer service lies and makes no true effort to help you, refuses to contact management with issues beyond the scope of agent level abilities, and they hang up on you when they dont like where the conversation is going. Chat help is the same. Absolute worst customer service. DO NOT USE. Oh and in most cases it costs less just to book with the airline directly so there is 0 cost value to use this
Terrible company. Completely screwed up my booking & made me pay a fortune for nothing. They booked me a Ryanair trip followed by transit then another trip, turns out Ryanair doesn't allow trainsits in the first place!!! Their fault they made the combination of tickets that way when I cannot get off because of the travel company they chose, not the country of transit as I searched & made sure the country of transit allows transiting without Visa. & after buying 3 extra luggage!!! Lost a FORTUNE!
Don't recommend this app at all. Extremely upset with this platform. Used this app to book round trip vtl tickets, filtered when i book some more. But they sold me outbound non-vtl, inbound vtl ticket. I'm super upset and disappointed, felt being cheated, being scammed. The both itenary for vtl and non vtl flights look exactly the same. I tried to call the customer service, but the guy blamed it on me and said it's my fault, I never check my itenary. Disappointed. Don't recommend.
Look at all the recent reviews and you'll see why you shouldnt even consider this app. I used this app to buy Flight tickets. I bought a ticket with the guaranteed refund option. It says it will take 1 year for the refund to be processed. I'm not even exaggerating lol it literally set a date exactly one year from when I requested the refund.
I booked a trip with two flights. First flight delayed so I missed second. Contacted company via this app and was told to book a new flight and hotel on the app and would be reimbursed. Not only were they not helpful when my flight was delayed, they used this to try and get more money from me Would not recommend
Worst customer and app service when u want to cancel or change dates (unable to do that) they lie about giving you voucher or change dates. They cancel my cancelation submit like i was the one doing it and everything was fine . Every call was 100% lies about the solution until the time for a calcelation or reschedule flight expired .
Absolutely horrible company. They overlapped two flights so that by the time I landed, there was no possible way to make the next connecting flight. Very sad, they didn't give me any money back at all. So basically I had to just spend more money to get another flight the next day. Horrible customer service. Horrible morals as a company, obviously just trying to steal all the extra money they can and are not trying to help get cheaper flights.
This is the most confusing app I've ever seen. It sends you to the payment screen. I make my payment. Then it says that my payment is successful. Then when I'm done the app says I need to pay online. So I push the big orange PAY BUTTON again. And the whole process starts over When I checked my check account it was paid. What's going on? Today I've paid 4 times. I think it says I'll get a refund but I can't tell what is going on. Also I need confirmation about things.
There isn't any booking number to key in your APP! my old booking was updated and nothing on the new booking. Empty promises and will never purchase flight with you guys anymore. Spoken with gazillion trip agents and supervisor and yet No payment link was sent. Now iam wondering if you people can be trusted anymore!!!!!!!!! Worst experience ever encounter 😪 From 2. 45am till 5am haven't received an update link and had to call again. Even then I was told to wait for another hour for the link.
The worst, the day of my flight they send me an email that they failed to apply my additional baggage allowance! Where as I made my booking with it and I paid everything. Yes they said will refund me but I need my baggage with me now and their response contact the airlines so it's easier also to make your booking with the airlines from the beginning.
You change flights without considering the schedule of your clients. Worse is you change it hours prior to the scheduled flight. We tried reaching your customer reps and they can't even do a thing, can't even explain the reason why it was changed. The worst!
Using the app was great. The hotel it's self was a bit ruff. The outside was a bit dirty and the people staying were loud and disruptive. The room was clean but the ac unit filter was disgusting. Had to clean it ourselves. Other then that out stay was good.
I've just started using Trip recently. I switched from a well known competitor. Initially, I tried them out because Trip was cheaper by several dollars compared to a company that I was loyal to for roughly 12 years! ....BUT WAIT!....THERE'S MORE!.LOL. Once inside the app, I discovered all kinds of ways to earn points (money) to use on future bookings! I will most definitely use Trip again for my future bookings! THANK YOU TRIP!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!! 5 STARS!!
Accidentally booked for the wrong date! Karlie, the customer service has been very helpful and responsive. She helped call the hotel and the hotel agreed to cancel my booking. I then rebooked on the right date rightafter.
Very easy to navigate. I'm a first time international traveler. I found the cheapest flight here and the booking was easy and straight forward...
Flight booking was cancelled and refunded as a voucher. Can't use the voucher as the airline says the voucher name is wrong. Trip customer service does not help at all and tries to avoid all responsibility. Very difficult to work with. Cannot recommend using this app.
It is a great travel website, upon browsing, I saw great prices with great deals that can surely be enticing. The application works well and does its job as a travel service provider. It has extensive hotel and flight bookings, they covered a lot of places. They do serve how the platform should be. For recommendations, I observed that they don't do much about the issue of cancelation, as a travel application they need to satisfy there clients by compensating them well.
