Without a doubt, the worst piece of software/app I have ever used. Absolute garbage. Development Team should hang their heads in shame at this. Was anything tested before being released to production? Says my phone has no fingerprint scanner? (I've an S8.) "Unable to contact server" is the only message displayed whenever I try to log into the app. Can't log into mobile site either, that's just as bad, although beyond the scope of this review, but the whole online access is an embarrassment.
This app has never worked since I installed it last year on an older phone. Got a new phone (Galaxy S9) in January and it still doesn't work. As soon as I click on the icon I immediately get a message saying "app keeps stopping". It never even opens. Developers please get this sorted or just get rid of the app altogether because at the moment it's useless
Dreadful App. I contacted the group I use it with and they were helpful, but App stopped working correctly very soon after installing (finger print option) no matter what I did. Reverted to username/pin/password. Now it won't log me in and constantly says it is contacting the server, and then says sorry it won't work! There appears to be no other way of accessing my account on my mobile, as Website always directs me to the app to login. Complete disaster. Very unhappy.
If I could give this app minus stars I would. Never works properly no updates to fix any issues. I try to transfer money it crashes instantly. Constant error codes and now my finger print won't work so to get in manually I have to get a letter and a text message sent out with my details. A blind Michael J Fox could code a better app whoever made it must have collected coupons from the back of a cereal box to become an app developer.
The app is completely outdated. Every time I try to log in it crashes and when I go onto the website and try to do it that way it doesn't work either. A lot of work to be done to the app as it is very inconvenient and frustrating having to go into the branch to get information which should be readily available and easy to access through the app or online.
This app is a complete disaster most of the time it is "unable to contact servers" and if you do manage to get into the app there is very little you can do other than check balance. I have 2 accounts but yet 5 account numbers show up and if you pick the wrong one you are logged out
Shocking poor user experience. next to impossible to log into my account. Always getting locked out requiring the credit union to reset it. don't bother using this app. It would be more convenient to drive for half an hour and queue to check your balance in the branch than use this app.
Can't even open the stupid app. Have nothing but bother with the website between not being able to log in, the letterkenny credit union never seem to answer the phones and when I have to go in they say I have sent it in the email twice and still no email and now the app won't even open. Pure stress... be better of dealing with the banks
Woeful app from day one when I downloaded it years ago and they have made no improvements. it's so restricted but I recently changed my phone and at first it was impossible to login so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and now it just won't open this is going on for days Also the process of registration for using the app was a nightmare with the credit union they really are awkward when it comes to stuff like this or even a simple thing like changing address
Can't log in, it was working grand but can't log in for months now. Not very convenient when you have to wait for the branch to open which is two days a week for a few hours. Not getting any info. Have emailed the IT support which is a waiting game and have uninstalled and reinstalled the app.
Fingerprint sensor is still buggy on S8. Won't acknowledge a fingerprint scan most of the time and when it does the "Fingerprint is not recognised". Used to work beautifully and was a credit to the developers as there are not many banking apps that use the sensor, opting to have users remember all sorts on PINs, passwords and usernames. Surprised they not getting inundated with clients whose customers cannot log in using fingerprint.
Don't bother installing😡😡....This App has never worked for me. when I contacted my local credit union they say it's working fine with no known issues Yet I have never been able to log in it as keeps crashing. I wish the developers would sort this out..It's completely useless at the moment. 😡
CU NoT the greatest app to put it mildly.. worked up to the start of the year, then the servers got Covid 19 or something cause you just can't connect to them. Pointless app at the moment, been 6 months or so since it in worked.. don't waste your time with it.
The app has great potential, but I can never just log in, there's always an issue 'connecting to servers' so I can't always check my account. Sometimes the problem lasts for days. I'd recommend the website before the app
The app hasn't been updated in over two years. I wonder if this is compliant with any financial regulator obligations for IT security? Touch login broken for some time. Two stars but only because it is possible to use it by manually using pin/password combo.
Terrible app. Even after upgrade. Login is so drawn out. Doesn't even auto select or stay on CAPS although all cu passwords are caps. The statements are a nightmare to read. Money jumping from one account and back again with every internal transfer. Should be improved!!!!
Was working fine, and to be fair is a handy tool while it works. Sadly it just stopped working, would not read fingerprint, or accept login details leading to account being temporarily frozen. Unable to find any info for a fix. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling etc.
The fingerprint is buggy(not recognizing it after the first fail) on my Pixel 2XL. If you can get the app closer in terms of design and functionality of your new web platform, it would be great!
Fingerprint has stopped working completely in last few days. Have tried to uninstall and reinstall on several occasions. No joy. Can the developers pls check this out. I know many people who are experiencing the same problem.
Fingerprint scanner doesnt work with this app Workaround for "Unable to connect to server" on new phone. When setting up app on new phone, I needed to log into CU online banking of my credit union through the browser first. This then sent a one time passcode to my device, which appears to have registered the phone with my account. Once I did this I was then able to use the app to log in. Hope this helps someone.
Absolutely Horrendous !! Crashes 100% of the time on startup. So many people on here giving it one star and yet they haven't bothered to address the issues. Completely useless app, dont waste your time even trying to use it !!!
The app works phone when you log in with credentials. I saved my details so I could log in via fingerprint and it does not work on my S10+ It does not let me use my fingerprint at all. When I do log in, it works fine.
App won't let me log in to view my accounts. Everytime I try and to log in it keeps giving me the following error message "unable to communicate with servers". This is a big inconvenience and am thoroughly disappointed.
I logged in when it came out first. Could only look at my account, not able to do anything else, so I deleted it. Have just logged in again after a very very long time and it is still the same, can not do anything. Can't make a payment, can't apply for a loan, nothing. I would not recommend it to anyone. Very disappointing.
Absolutely useless, can never connect to the servers, been like this for months. Update: tried it again Dec 2020 still the same looks like no one is bothered to do anything, shocking from an financial business like this but hardly surprising given they are like a bank now might as well behave like one! Update 26/03/21 unbelievably it's still the same, can't connect to the servers, nothing done about it, no updates, no fixes, someone needs to be sacked for this, absolutely disgraceful!
Woefully inadequate, tried signing in using the App and locks me out and then I sign in using the web login without any issue. Seems to be a major disconnect with the servers. I can't understand why these logins aren't encrypted using two factor authentication or using an encrypted nonce etc... Very poor design
This app is pretty much the worst computing experience of my life. When you used to have to wait half the day for your commodore 64 to download the tape cassette at least you knew it would eventually work! A pointless app for a company who deals with our millions of euros of savings every day. How much could it really cost to fix this, jesus christ!
Awful, since latest update i no longer have fingerprint access when i try to log in manually keeps crashing and saying cannot connect to servers, very poor app, needs to be sorted out a real disaster!!!!
Without question, this has got to be the WORST banking app I've ever seen or used. It's the reason I won't switch to their current account! Seriously, Sort this out because generally speaking ye have a good reputation. Don't mess it up by not being current and user friendly. Another point slightly off topic 😬 The Current Account Debit Cards look ugly, you'd be surprised how it could deter someone from switching. Maybe add a feature where customers pay an additional fee to have it personalised- just a thought!
