Widget not working since update. Never had a problem before and now you cannot just show the widget. You have to go in and actually load it up completely. Please fix by. Please fix bug.
I have tried to develop an account by entering my email and password and it continually says I have the wrong password and the wrong email when indeed it was my first initial time I entered either one of those I have tried at least 15 times now to get my account set up so I can order for delivery I am about ready to give up
While I'm in the store my Cub app always has said "unavailable" when I try to open it. I hope this update corrects the problem?
I changed my contact and password info inside of app, signed out and tried to sign back in on the app and through Facebook. I can't get back in and it won't send me an email to reset password. Please fix!
Dose not always record the gass rewards, once not at all, and one time. not full amount. ☹
Just like others have reported...you sign in in the actual app then to shop you get redirected to your browser. At that point you have to sign in again and it doesn't work. It appears you can't shop online via your phone. A joke.
The UI is pretty, but doesn't function. I can get to the weekly ads but the apps freezes. I also can't see more than the Weekly Ad when I used to be able to see other coupon books. There is what appears to be a drop down where I would expect it to be, but nothing ever drops down. The functionality of the previous version was much better and consistent
App is slow to respond and impossible to search for items. It takes at least 4 secs for an item to load after selecting it. When searching for items by name they don't all appear in the results which is extremely frustrating. This app makes me want to just use the direct instacart app because it's much more consistent and faster to use.
Love this app. Makes the weekly printed ad available to me whenever i have a free moment on my phone. But it does have its bugs I often cannot claim the digital deals that are only available through the app. For the life of me, no matter what I do, I cannot get that red circle to show up. Looking at coupons (except the weekly ad, that's fine) is usually gitchy and buggy no matter what
I like the idea of the app, but it has problems. On my Samsung Galaxy S4, S7, S7 Edge, and ZTE Z-Max Pro, all fully updated, with the app on either the device or an external SD card, it freezes when adding items to a list. EVERY time I click an item, it SHOULD circle it and place it in my list. Instead, it freezes and I have to shut down the app and re-load it. Some times the item loads up circled and listed, other times it doesnt. Fix it, and add a price scan tool and it'd be a 5 star app.
I am totally frustrated with this app. It seems pointless, worthless, and below par. I used to be able to grab my cub card, run in and grab something and get out with a good sale price in a jiffy. Now, I have to open the app, look for the right coupon book or flyer, page through the flyer page by page, then try to click (and click and click and click again often to no avail) to try to load the price/coupon onto my phone, and then if a 2nd item is on a different I flyer, I have to repeat this process over and over till I find all my items. THEN I can finally go to the store where suddenly the app doesn’t load and I spend a ton of time at the register where the clerk tries to make manual adjustments. Just load the coupons/deals onto the card like before and get rid of the app.
This app is half baked. You can't place orders in the app. You can view coupons and the weekly ad, but both functions are very slow. Half of the buttons in the app are just links that open in the browser and several times I have tried clicking on buttons in the app and just got an error "This content isn't available right now. Please try again later."
Super quirky and slow even with a very new phone. Searches don't always show the options I know that are in the stores. Beside slow and clunky, you can't really easily tell what size you are buying. Then it wouldn't take my credit card and gave some error. Only took Google pay properly. I think some amateur designed this app. My son designs better apps than this.... I miss Instacart. I never had any issues with that. Cub, you can lose business over this amateurish app.
I don't really see a point to this app. I can't browse products to put a specific one on my list or to see if it is available in the store. If there are store maps, I can't find them. It would be a nice option. The list is something I find easier to do in an app that lets me share it so others can add or do the shopping. Did I miss some menus or options somewhere?
I would love to shop with you, but it's too much to have to use Instacart, whether or not it does delivery or pickup. I like to pickup. I would recommend doing something from the CUB FOODS app that I can do pickup without having to also use Instacart. Do what Hyvee Aisles Online does. It's right from the app and much easier. I use that, but Cub, if you change it I will shop from you.
Useless app. There is not even a search option to see if an item is carried or if its available. No map of the store. No way to add coupons, because usually the "add to list" and "coupon page" is not functioning. It was much much better when the coupons were just added to your card and you didn't have to take so much time to TRY and make the coupons appear to no avail. It's almost like they WANT US TO SHOP AT ALDIS.
I've shopped at Cub for years, and generally know my way around the store. I've had the cub app in the past an in earlier versions the app has provided me with directions to where I might find something that I hadn't been even aware of before going to look for. Considering that the latest update is marked as 'Bug fixes and performance improvements', and the only way I can see this being a performance improvement is if one identifies the app as more useless and less useful, I have to consider that the idea of actually providing useful information to users of the app, such as where products are located within the store you are in, was considered a bug to be squashed. Perhaps I should switch to HyVee.
Terrible! Deserves Zero stars. Freezes up constantly. Super slow response time. Can't actually get the special red circles around the digital deals to get special coupon price. Huge waste of time. It's even slow to call up your customer bar code number for scanning; better off using the "Key Ring" app for showing barcode to cashier. I'm using Samsung Galaxy S9+ (no app or memory issues on ANYTHING except Cub app.
Love the digital couponing, hate the UI. About half the time I click on a coupon to save it to my account the app interface freezes and I am prompted by my Android system to close the app or wait for it to work. My phone and the app are always updated, so this just makes shopping more frustrating.
I used to love this app! Not so much anymore. App won't open due to the "no connection" error even when the internet is working. When I could get the app to open, it had quit giving me my fuel rewards info. I contacted Customer Support who told me that an update was coming. They didn't say when but to keep checking the app. This is so frustrating. Please fix this app soon!
This is-by far-the absolute WORST app I have ever tried to use. After trying for over an hour to get 7 items I just drove there, cuz it's close to me. Searches don't work, not one coupon worked, is difficult to get back to search options & you can't enter anything, if you do the cart comes up with 2 or 3 of the items. If you check cart you're done. I made my account 3 times& still can't sign in. It's ridiculous! It's free but if THEY paid ME I wouldn't use it
I reviewed this a year ago saying the "click to claim" feature didn't work. Unfortunately it still doesn't work. I don't even open the app notification anymore because I know I won't be able to add those deals to my account anyway... (I've cleared my cache, tried mobile data vs wifi, opening it from a notification vs opening the app directly - it just doesn't work.)
Why can't we pick what time we want for a pick up order? It shows the other times available but doesn't let us pick which one we want. Update: Thank you for changing that option.
Absolute garbage. The pickup experience in my local store used to be incredible. Things are ready on time and because the staff pick the items you always got what you asked for. Now they switch to their own app which you can't even log into and keeps asking you to relog in and relog in. Ruined it completely, back to Hy-Vee I go.
App is SLOOOOOOOOW. Slow to load stores on initial start up, slow to load coupons, just slow overall. Been this way for a while and can not believe they have not updated the performance. If you need to access your rewards card, launch the app before you enter the store because if you do it at the checkout, you are just going to increase the wait time for others in line while you are twiddling your thumbs waiting for the app to load.
I wanted to use this app, but it is not user friendly at all. I got 2 items in, cleared my cart and gave up. Sad. If I could leave 0 stars I would.
This app is totally useless. It won't let me log in - says my info is wrong when I can log in on a browser with no issue.
DO NOT UPGRADE! Just a mess and inconvenient. I never had a problem with the app before the upgrade. I frequently ordered online and picked up my groceries. With the upgrade I got locked out of my account. When I try to do forgot password, it say my email address is not registered. I created another account with the same email address and it recongizes my number being connect to the other account that does not exsist.
