Better than the second one (lake) but still not as gripping as the first (seasons). Puzzles were decently challenging, always nice to have a trial & error puzzle in there too. The theme in itself was great and we'll thought out, but I'm lost as to how it fits in the Rusty Lake story line? Perhaps it was a gap filler or something more I'm yet to see? The one thing I'm enjoying about all the games so far are the erie, sinister and mind bending vibes to each game. Moving on to number 4 👍
I really appreciate the attention to detail one must have in order to find most of the clues. I enjoy a challenge. This game captured my focus immediately. It was on par reading or watching something with a goal of keeping me in suspense while leaving a feeling of accomplishment when figuring out how to use clues found during the game. Excellent work!
Loved this one, a little different from the other rusty lake cube games for being the artist, but still had the same vibe (and creeps) as the other ones. Usually when you come up on one of the puzzles to unlock something, you can figure out the pattern. One of the things I got stuck on was the sunflowers, I had to actually watch a video for that, because it seemed like no matter which way I tried to go with it, I always missed one. Really good game, though! Check out the others!
Dark/disturbing while requiring critical thinking/observation skills. It was so much damn FUN. This one required more decryption, with games within the game. My issue: To get to the other Cube escape stories/ games, you have to download a new app each time (8+ in total). It would be more convenient for each story/game to be a different level in one app.
Very short, much shorter than usual but still fun and intriguing. Once again I absolutely love playing these games and am ready to begin the next one!! I have literally gone through and downloaded them all at once and just picked one to start with and once I finish that one I start another lol. Im not doing them in order but even so I am having a blast playing them!!
Fun but bugged. I got stuck for a long time so I checked walkthrough, I was not given a critical item after completing one of the tasks so I could not finish the game. that was the ONLY thing wrong with it though! this is a super fun puzzle game, I'm going to check out the other escape cube games for sure!
I love that its so differant than other point and click puzzles in the sense that its a series with a story, and and engaging, and intruiging one at that. Over all im addicted, i waited a tear and am now replaying all of them, and i still love them as much as i did the first time, and the puzzles are difficult enough for me to forget so i can experience it again. Great job!
Wow another very good game by you guys, I love this one! It was very enjoyable and the puzzles actually made a bit of sense, although the thing where you change the liquid inside the bottles to do something with the chopped off ear was kind of hard. But I got through it. Thank God there were no jumpscares/ creepy people that appear out of nowhere, I would have screamed. I hate jumpscares and unexpected things in games, haha. Thanks for this game, please continue making more! Thanks for this game
The great minds at Rusty Lake have provided a beautiful gift here. This was a more simple one and great to start with to get a feel for Rusty Lake's amazing games. I wish I had tried this one before more advanced ones of theirs but it was entertaining either way, and kinda funny. It helps if you know a little about Van Gogh. Thank you Rusty Lake people, this room has always been one of my favorite pieces of art and now, it's on another level, combined with the work of my favorite developers.
I loved Seasons, and if I was disappointed at how short The Lake was, Arles was the perfect sequel. Not as long as the first game, much longer than the second, but beautifully made and deliciously weird. Not sure how old Vince ties into the plot, but I haven't played Paradox or the three paid games, yet. Absinthe trip? Dunno, but doesn't matter.. cuz when it comes to interdimensional travel, Arles definitely picked a novel means of getting there.
I've never been such addicted to any games . I've literally played every single part of this game and it's awesome . Some puzzles can be hard at times but they have walkthrough which makes it easier . The only thing I don't like is the game is short I just it would just be one game compilations with different stories so that I could play it for long long time .
These games are a lot of fun. I enjoy the challenge of deductive reasoning and sharpening that skill. I wish the games were longer maybe with different levels or different rooms. I'll solve one in 20 minutes, then off to the next one. All in all, I went through many of these in a week or two, now I'm looking for something else.
Wasn't as hard as I expected, I like the tips sistem since the ads at not too big and it does not affect the experience in the game. One thing I would change would be the ear thing: with the liquids in the right pots because it is hard and I DEFINETLY couldn't finish it alone (without tips).
I love it and I figured some things out, the only strange thing I found is that my background is black, but the background on the walkthrough videos are gray/textured etc (u can literally tell it's a wall). Whenever I click up, there's only black.
This is my second time of playing Cube Escape (Theatre, Arles). And I found the previous one more interesting..This one does not include stories but it is still exciting...Though this is a bit boring and difficult, it is still fun to play...I have to watch some Walkthrough since some parts are too complicated....Good game....Love it
Always love these Rusty Lake games. The colourful graphics have a unique hand drawn quality. The level of difficulty is spot on for me as the puzzles are just in reach to stop the game becoming too frustrating. Well deserving of the 5 stars.
Probably the most creepy game I've played in a long time. Very engaging. The uniqueness and the suspense of each chapter is what keeps me glued. Thumbs up to the developers. Really thinking outside the box on this one. Great game.
Fab little escape room game like the classics of the late 90s / early 00s. Solved it without the need for any walkthrough so I think it's all quite intuitive. Looking forward to playing the others in the series. Thanks :)
This is my 5th or 6th Cube Escape game and it stands up with the other ones. It's challenging but not usually frustrating (I have had my moments though, lol). Very fun, entertaining, and the story line of all these games is great (and creepy/trippy at times).
An enjoyable escape game. Following Cube Escape Lake and Seasons, this seems like a one off story wise, and if you following the story, I'll readily admit I had to look it up to see how it fits. Relatively quick play, and well worth the download.
In my opinion, the more it goes on, the easier it is to solve the puzzle of your games. For example, this game, which is older than your other games, is harder. I also suggest looking for new and more interesting ideas for variety - thanks
Third one was great! The puzzles were challenging and required observation and logic, but no leaps of logic. All the info you needed was there if you pay attention. Rusty Lake is creating great content!
This game was okay, but I couldn't figure out the weight numbers and had to look it up. Everything else was easy to figure out. I really liked the paintings and the flower puzzles. It just didn't draw me in as much as their other games. See what I did there? 🤣
Love these games and I wish I could play this one, but the background is all black. I've had the same issue with a few others as well. I've tried restarting, reinstalling and it makes no difference. So disappointing.
There was a problem with the background. It was all black so i didn't see some of the items (for example the key on the floor). I don't think the problem is because of my phone. You should fix it as soon as possible. But i like the game. It is easier than paradox.
A solid offering from Rusty Lake. The puzzles, as with all of these games, are just the right difficulty to keep you entertained without being too frustrating. I would rank this one a little below some of the other titles because it does not have the same control feel as the others and the story is not quite connected as some of the other titles are. Still a good game and worth playing.
