Cube Escape: The Cave

Honestly the game was really fun(especially the actual cave part of it) but then it got a bit tricky with the submarine controls, nothing impossible though, all it needed was a little look at the walk through. What really ruined the experience was the fish collecting part of the submarine, like literally after the 4th fish(which was already kinda hard) it became IMPOSSIBLE to catch the other 2. I Uninstaller the game due to frustration but I'm sure that it's a great game as a whole

That was SO much fun! Especially the second part with finding the cubes using weird old sonar/radar/machinery. The game has a lot of content, it's pretty long. The vibe is like in Donnie Darko movie (do you remember it?). And the music is brilliant. So creepy! I don't understand how it can be free. I wish I could give a tip to developers ;) Gonna buy the premium games for sure.

I love all the games so far, but one thing about this one has me a little upset. I got to the part where you have to layer the rock in the correct order to make the crow statue. I accidentally dripped a few times while looking at the pattern, and the right stalagtite only erases one layer. So now I pretty much have to reset my game and start all over. I know it was my own fault for doing that, but it would be nice if the eraser would keep erasing as many times as needed for noobs like myself.

A tale of two challenges. First one is good but second part can get tedious because the same types of puzzles have to be repeated and by when the link to story becomes thin. The ending is also strange. Having said there's lots of puzzles. Could have been two mini games or one streamlined game with less repetition. Great series though and very entertaining.

I LOVE the Cube Escape games, they are the only games I play actually and I'm always coming back to them. Nothing's better than some great puzzles and a creepy story with awesome graphics! This one is by far the most difficult (I played it earlier and still needed to use the hints) but I really enjoyed, that it was also longer than the others. Thank you! Amazing game.

I've thoroughly enjoyed all other Rusty Lake titles I've played, so I was more than a little surprised by the mediocre experience I had playing The Cave. There were plenty of times where I got stuck because the gameplay was very unintuitive and it just wasn't clear what I was supposed to do next. I ended up having to watch a walkthrough video because the hint button was greyed out whenever I actually needed a hint. Finishing the game felt more like a chore than anything else in the end.

This was actually my least favorite in the series. Still good but it got really repetitive in the end. Still a good quality gameplay. There are moments where I get stuck and feel like I've clicked and swiped everything I could, only to have to check the walkthrough and realize I didn't swipe/click correctly for objects to budge. Maybe a personal issue, but this is really the only thing that frustrated me. Otherwise, great concept, probably the least creepy (but still creepy!) So far out of the 9

Amazing games. I've completed the first 9 of the 10 free chapters, but wanted to leave a review before finishing the rest. Hugely entertaining, mentally rewarding, fresh and so well- developed. I'm actually going to buy the other ones. You guys more than deserve it. Thank you for not settling, and for making something truly memorable. Well done!

It really was an engaging game. The first area was a bit weird/gory with the whole arm turning to dog food deal, but otherwise i enjoyed the challenge. Sadly, in the second area, i couldn't progress because of the little fish minigame. I'd put a fish on a hook, and it wouldn't come off of that hook whatsoever, causing it to be impossible. Please fix this- i wish i could continue.

This app is incredible! The storyline is creepy, fascinating and best of all it was quite challenging! I would highly recommend The Cube to anyone who digs creepy and logical games. I DO NOT recommend playing it in the bath, coz there are jumpy scenes. Nuff said, I almost had to buy a new phone! Well done to the creators! Please keep up the great work!

Amazing game. Brilliant visuals. Con: That morse code stuff. It can be a considered a con because even guys like me who are familiar with how to use morse codes wouldn't be able to guess what message to send to that fish. Up? Left? That fish appeared to be just in front. Tough levels are always acceptable but that was outright impossible. P.S. Just completed it and it is perhaps the shortest one i ever played. Also, the story is too much complicated; impossible to understand. So -1 star.

A very interesting puzzle game! However, some bugs impede my progress. I can't pick up the key beside the microscope nor can I drag the green vile to the man with the top hat after I gave it to the other man. Other than those hiccups, It's still a very well-rounded game!

Another great game! I definitely struggled a bit with this one. Loved the puzzle though. It was very creative and outside the box. There are glitches in the game though. My game still hasn't ended. It just keeps saying to be continued. And the music will not shut off even after I leave the app.

I literally love every single puzzle I've done so far, they really make you think outside of the box when it comes to problem solving, what I love most is that each puzzle is connected in revealing the true story behind Rusty Lake, I still havent finished yet but the graphics are beautifully eerie I literally am always on my toes. I finished 4 so far. Im definitely hooked. So many different puzzles 5 stars hands down

This might be the best Rusty Lake game, at least top three, it's also one of the most challenging, the puzzles are great. I regret using a walkthrough at all, I'm trying to forget it so I can play it again. Neat story elements and twists.

I did not enjoy it as much as the others, especially the second part. I believe there were too many controls involved just to move the submarine. And then, I think the coordinates with the triangle are just wrong. The long sides of the triangle point to the hotel in the picture, but not in the solution. Idk, I just felt that the puzzles did not make any sense, even after solving them.

I think I'd put this one up there with Paradox. I thoroughly enjoyed every puzzle in this, and the scenes are extremely atmospheric, especially the second one ;) I know 4.7 is a high score on Google Play but this one should be up there with your highest ranking Rusty Lake puzzle games. Loved every minute of it.

This great is overall great like the other one I tried. The only down side this time around is that when you need to collect the ink, the game said I grabbed it, but my bottle is still empty, and I can't use the ink where a guide told me it's supposed to be used. I had tried for 30 minutes to try and find a way to use it before looking, but even after a guide it still isn't doin anything. So I've been unable to finish the game

Another awesome game!! Im really enjoying these!! Especially the ones like this one, not easy but not so hard that you end up giving up and Uninstalling the game, which I've done for other escape games before. But the Rusty Lake series has definitely kept me on my toes and intrigued. Just when I think I'm not gonna figure it out, the solution hits me and i keep going!! Thanks guys!! On to the next one!!!

Creepy and challenging. I didn't find this too easy which was great, but I did have to look up once what my next move should be...but if you need a hint it's good that you can get it. Like the other Cube Paradox the graphics/story are wonderful. A delightfully macabre game

I love the cube escape games and this is no exception but I was a bit let down by a glitch I came across. I had gotten to the stage where you'd receive the third cube from matching the TV screen but once I'd completed it the game wouldn't give me the cube. I'd clicked on it to receive it but the game didn't give me it and It was gone from the collection area. A little bit annoying as I was quite far into the game but up until that point it was quite enjoyable.

It's a fine game. The music is chilling, and scary things are abound. The six fishes roasting in a box puzzle would have been easier if there was a prompt that you can drag it. I struggled when the fish didn't return to the inventory when tapped.

Great gameplay, in line with the other cube escape games. This game offers more of a deep dive into the story than other previous games (pun intended). It also introduces more mechanics to use in solving puzzles (which are also more interesting). Overall excellent release!

The entire Rusty Lake series is excellent. The story is creepy and engaging, and the puzzles are challenging and well thought out. There's no time commitments, and you can exit at any moment without losing ground. So, it's a great game for waiting rooms

I gotta admit one or two times there I was in a pickle but they implemented a great hint system where they give you vague but helpful hints about what to do next and I like that system so much more as opposed to the usual "click and see the walkthrough video". Another impressive masterpiece from the Rusty Lake team!!
