Cube Escape: The Mill

I'm sure it would be a great game if I could pick up that first key...whenever your games include a key inside one of those little flip open boxes I can never pick them up, so I can't progress. I had to give up with The Cave for that same reason. Usually though I really enjoy your escape rooms it's just that one bug needs fixing please. Edit: Thank you, I'll try again!

Wonderfully creepy, just in time for Halloween, and really fit the mood. Love the old lady. Puzzles were good and hard, but for some reason this one kinda blurred together and wasn't quite as memorable as the others. Maybe it was shorter but hard enough that I didn't notice? Oh well, excellent regardless. For those reading the other reviews.. there are some quirks in how to order certain tasks, but I wouldn't call them bugs, just difficult and exacting. Things like timing triggers being so specific that only one action will advance the plot, and not in the clearest way. Still, if you keep at it you shouldn't need the walkthrough. Dark? Certainly, but these games are pure metaphor, so while some of the imagery is dire, it's too abstract to take literally. Moral dilemmas are an illusion, here.

Great looking, creepy game. Some of the puzzles in this game were really counterintuitive and involved combining objects in ways that made no sense, or clicking in just the right place for no good reason. I had to use a walkthrough multiple times, including right at the beginning of the game, which was frustrating.

Wow another great game in this series sort of thing! Very scary ending to it of course and it makes us wonder what will happen in the following game. This one was quite easy to be honest, and Case 23 was a lot harder, but it was a really fun experience. Amazing graphics, easy to understand, simple yet creepy puzzles and gameplay, nice. The controls aren't the best, they're kind of slow, but that's not a problem :-). Thanks for making these games, keep up the hard work in the future! Thanks, bye.

I really like the game! I love the eerie atmosphere and the puzzles are great too but I have a little problem. My background is all black, I thought this was normal but when I watched the walkthrough, the background wasn't black at all. Please help me fix this 'cause I can't see important parts like the key and the arrows.

I really love this series of escape games, especially since everything is connected. it's not easy, either, so it's a lot better than most of the usual escape games out there. however, although I do love the new hint system, I wish you could unlock better hints after you've solved the first one. some of the games get to a point where you just don't know what to do next and the same hint from an hour ago isn't going to help.

Amazing that you are creatively innovative enough to provide novel presentations (ie twisted) of traditional puzzles. Another very short game. This was the 1st of your Cube Escapes that I was dissatisfied by the ending. Too abrupt. No transition out. Like you ran out of time & had to submit incomplete work. I still enjoyed your game but you have done better on others.

I really like the Rusty Lake series. The mysteries are mesmorizing, the puzzles are suspensful, the graphics are simple but ever so attracting. I've played a few of their games and I can't say there's anything else like Rusty Lake. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. But I'm still confused, not going to lie XD. You might get stuck by the way, but CONVIENTLY they provide a walkthrough, THANK GOODNESS.

Good game, it was a bit weird after playing escape or adventure games with relatively more grounded puzzles or tasks. It is impressive that even with the surrealistic theme, the puzzles weren't unintuitive or outright annoyingly unreasonable (kind of a contradictory statement though). I thought I would need hints because of how dreamy the scenes were but never had to use any.

I had to reset the game. Because I saw something different. And ran through the game in a different light. I got stuck at the gold tooth until I figured out the number system wasn't like you'd expect it to be. That grilled duck had me confused. For about an hour. But the game was very cool. But two short. The puzzles were just right on the rate of not aggravating you to uninstalling the game. I was on the edge. And wanting it to go faster. But I'm glad it doesn't do that. It's just right. I love the game. And am very happy to know this game isn't the only one. Thanks for a great finally puzzle game!

The art, the graphics, the user interface, the intense puzzles and chilly atmosphere, you have it all! You have no idea how long it took me to find a game like this, and you have a whole array of these games, all of them interlinked to form a big cobweb of a narrative. I love it.

It's just like the other rusty lake games. Good puzzles mixed with just the right amount of spookyness. Ofc I like these stuff, but I'd like to see you people make games with some other concepts as well.

The entire Rusty Lake series is excellent. The story is creepy and engaging, and the puzzles are challenging and well thought out. There's no time commitments, and you can exit at any moment without losing ground. So, it's a great game for waiting rooms

This game is amazing. 5 stars for sure! Gameplay is smooth, it's difficult sometimes to find out the solution that means it has pretty good puzzles! Don't think the game is bad. The developers deserve this rating definitely. Good job! I am glad I finished it on my own though, no walkthroughs or helps.

This game was amazing, i had fun figuring out the puzzles and i do think it has an interesting story. My only problem with it is how hard it is to tap some of the things, but overall its still a great experience

I love the puzzles behind the scene it's a new experience for me and it's my first escape ge i would like to play more rusty lake games but can you make games much bigger than this and please add a way to get free hints without watching vedios,,,,, though nice work developer's i wish we will be connected through this and you make more longer and amazed game i completed it less than an hour

Oh. My. God. This was freaking challenging. I loved it! It was overall creepy, in its own unique way. I was really stumped at some parts, but i figured it out! 5/5 stars! Oh By the by, if anyone cant pick up the key in the box, its fine! There isnt a key in that box, its a mold for the key. You melt the old ladys gold tooth.

Great game, love all the Rusty Lake stuff so far. Love the artwork. Puzzles definitely get you thinking. The only thing that could have been made a little clearer (literally) is the number on the church. I had to take a screenshot of it and zoom just so I could tell what it was. Other than that, awesome as always!

Another exceptional game in the series. Rusty Lake makes one hit after another. This has ties to an earlier game as well. Really mind bending puzzles. Exquisite! Already bought Hotel and can't wait to play it. Unfortunately it's 4am and I have to go to bed. Tomorrow's another day... Or it's it??? ⬛⬜😲🤐🤫

I've played all but 2 cube escape games by Rusty Lake. I only need to complete cube escape: havery's box and cube escape: birthday . I'm not going to lie, Cube Escape is undeniably addictive. I absolutely LOVE THEM ALL!!<3 I love the storyline I love the graphics I love the details the sophisticated complexity of the puzzles I love every bit. Thank you Rusty Lake. Keep making more amazing and challenging games please!!! Lol ...btw did I mention that I completed all but 2 games in a week..

The game is so much fun. To me, the game and the code is using your IQ. I let my older brother played it and he struggled so much, hahahaha. *That mean I'm smarter lol 🤪 A few day later, my older sister play it and she's so good at breaking the code. But when it become to something not related to coding, she struggling a lot. And swears a lot too. My brother and me laughing at her so much. In the end my brother help her even though I don't want him to do that.

I don't know what to say besides I absolutely love this game as well as every other Rusty Lake game. It's fantastic, the fragmented storyline line is complex but not so convoluted that it becomes annoying to follow. So much love for the creators, you guys have truly made something great.

I love this game, and i love the cube series games mostly, this is hard and needed help but I genuinely enjoyed it to the very end. The controls weren't hard at all and the puzzles are understandable too.

Love the puzzles here. Love the series. For some reason, of the many Rusty Lake titles I've played so far, this seemed the buggiest. Had to open and close a number of times to get the next section to trigger.

Really loved how thoroughly weird this game is - in the best way. A joy to unravel, as are all of the Rusty Lake games. And I really love the artwork, the mysterious plot... I can really recommend this game and all the others in the series.

Ithe Rusty lake series is fantastic! It's macabre and spooky and dark and the puzzles are challenging. Each one is relatively short but all follow the same storyline. Highly recommended!
