Cuckoo hourly chime

pretty good, needs more attention and patience. It desperately needs more sounds, can't really work with 18 different bells. I really like the 2 bells every hour and 1 bell every half, very unique option!!!! It would be really great to fix the active hours. as others have pointed out there are no labels here. Just play with it for some time, u will figure it out. Really shame I can't use a custom bell... Overall 4/5, keep it up !!!!

A very nice little app. Helps me be mindful of the time without being annoying. The selection of Chimes is very nice and having the option of having the AI read out the actual time is very handy since I can be hands free while working and still know what time it is. The only feature I wish it had is to be able to change the TTS voice in the app settings.

Don't bother. This app will work for a short while and then quit (for no apparent reason). It can't be relied upon to remind you of what time it is as it chimes for an hour, or two, and quits. It looks as if you need to watch a certain number of ads for it to work. If the app were reliable, I might watch the adds; but with it being so unreliable... it is getting uninstalled.

When I first got this app I loved it. Now, it only sometimes works and when it does, it often chimes the hour three times in a row, so that 6:00 will chime 18 times! In addition, when it chimes, it chimes 3 to 4 minutes late. I wrote to the developer about these problems and never got a reply. I'm very sad to lose it as it checked all my requirements for this kind off app.

Two problems: Despite opting for a single instance of the airport sound on the hour, it rings twice. Secondly, the first instance of the sound is clear, but when the sound repeats, there's a loud click or pop at the top of the sound—I tried changing the volume base, but that didn't help.

After purchasing this app after the trial period ended, it began to function erratically. It does not chime on the hour with the correct number of chimes. It does not chime on the half hour. It worked perfectly during trial period. And I did make certain that the settings were properly selected.

Had to delete because the app is very buggy. It cannot be relied upon to always chime at the right time, sometimes chiming multiple times in the same hour. I tried turning it off, and it continued to chime. I've also had problems with the volume.

There are no instructions/info. What does "base" setting mean? I set the time for 5am/9pm but it still plays past these hours (all day). The settings are confusing. I wish the tone would stop if I tap the screen. Often, I have to swipe down and find the notification. Otherwise, I like the app.

Fraudsters... Even after paying for the app, it again asked for payment after 2 days. I made payment as I thought last payment failed... Then again after 2 days it started asked for more money... Chor... Never install this type of pathetic loot app... Beware ! It's a scam... Big fraud scam!!!!! Reply to developer: Once someone pays for it, that means he liked the product and wants uninterrupted functionality now onwards. what does it mean that it will work for 2-3 days then again stop working?

It did not beep when it was set to. Also there is no option for vibrations instead of sounds, and all sounds are sharp, nothing pleasant and discrete or relaxing

Cool in concept and I love the app when it works. But it's unreliable. The settings end up reset frequently. Which is bad, when you are in a meeting and your phone makes unwanted, unnecessary noise.

B6 far my very favorite app to date. My father fixed broken clocks as a hobby. I loved watching him fix the cuckoo clocks just so I could see the baby bird pop out and whistle. All different types of bell sounds and also a ship bell. My father also worked on ships at Bethlehem Steel Shipyard in Dundalk Maryland. He retired there as well. I have several problems with this app firstly it only works when it thinks it will and when it does go off it always six minutes late also dont matter what I do to it it keeps going of in the night my only solution is to turn off at night this would be a really good app if the problems with it were sorted even with the latest update its still not as good as it could be I'm think of changing it when I find another one

Love it! Wish it had a way to chose the days and times that it worked. Even having a silent alarm with a picture would be great too. That way I could use it at work. I work in a library so having an alarm going off is startling and embarrassing. Thank you.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is basically the same as Pendulum Clock app. In which case, Ashley will be pleased to be able to silent it for the night time. But I maintain that a different sound for the half-hour and hour would be good. Just think of 12.30, 13.00 and 13.30, how do we know the difference. That's not too much asking, surely! Thank you for an otherwise perfect application.

Using successfully for 3 months (Sam. Note9). I want the beep sounds to only sound once. Can you make this not an option? 2 beeps is annoying when I'm concentrating. (I'm NOT taking about beep according to the hour, I'm talking about beep once, which is actually beep twice for most sounds)

Cuckoo is cool since they have a wide selection of fine sounds. BUT if you want to chime every 10 minutes, you'll have to settle on every 15. But blipblip app allows any interval time. Allowing any interval would give this app 5 stars and priority over blip blip.

The only reason for giving a star less is that I am not able to set the option of Repeat tone as per the hour. Every time it resets automatically to single. Will be great if this can be fixed.

I love this app. I lived in Germany"s Black Forest region when in the military, and gave my mother a cuckoo clock upon my return. She loved it as she was of German descent. This app reminds me of her (she is now deceased.) One question: How can I automatically turn off when I livestream events or record music? I am a musician and if I forget to turn it off, cuckoo sounds. Even without this capability I still love this app. Good work. Thank you.

Many of you complain that this app turns off. Read the app, it tells you that you need to change your battery optimisation. I belive it would be almost impossible for the programmers override this. I would have given this app four stars but it has a noval monitisation system I highy appreciate. Is politely asks you if you would like to watch an add to support it. You are never forced. I love this. I wish to ask the creator, how many users choose to watch ads?

The only reason it isn't a perfect 5 stars is because it goes off while I'm on phone calls. The developer should include the option to skip when on an active telephone call.

Seemed to work well. I only used it for a few hours. The greatest feature is the ability to have different sounds for different times but I could not find any way to disable the chime per hour for the hourly alarm.

I have this app installed and I kinda like it. It is set to cuckoo twice at the top of the hour, but sometimes my cuckoo is going cuckoo, about 3 minutes later it might do it again. No way to predict when it might do that.

I like this app. I want to give it 5 stars but there are still bug issues. I have it set to go bell chime every hour and to chime the time but It randomly chims on half hour and I don't have it set at half hour chimes. Please let me know if you can fix it.

Chime is great but Controlling when the chime goes off is not intuitive enough. Goes off all night even when set 11pm. Makes me wonder if day to night is actually a range or just a test. Needs work.

The sound plays nonstop and I can't turn it off. Also it doesn't interact with headphones correctly. It still plays through the phone speaker when I have headphones on. Don't bother downloading this.

A useful tool for time awareness. However, very irritating that it chimes during phone calls and there isn't a setting option to disable during calls.
