The device works great but the app needs some work. The app is good for basic setup and function but the more advanced settings are difficult to access and enable. Adding devices to groups require way to many steps and must be done once device at a time. Also, the app randomly says my subscription has expired eventhough it hasn't.
The device works great.......when its working correctly. Enjoyed the Cujo for about a year and then one day it decided it was going to block my brothers phone from the home network. No way to undo it. All other devices on the network work fine still. But since my brother lives here I cant have it blocking him from the service that he pays half of. i do wish i knew how to correct the problem because I'd like to use it still.
Perfect peace of mind. Easy to install, got a phone call almost immediately after I plugged it in and was guided through the set up. Keep getting alerts telling me it blocked a potential intrusion. Got a few friends to get one and will be buying another one for my parents. A must have since iot devices are all over my house.
I'm a IT Security pro, and this app works great. the interface is simple and clear. it uses advanced authentication for security. you can be confident that you are protected.
Can only access account through the app and it hasn't worked in months. Can't log in; can't reset password. Every function says it timed out. App used to work really well.
Latest version of app is broken where you have devices in groups. Unable to expand groups to view/edit devices. Good job I have just purchased a new Asus router with inbuilt Trend Micro AI Protection which does the same job as the Cujo, which is now an expensive brick. Next weekend, install new router and dump the Cujo.
1 star...because ot keeps saying no internet and both my data and wifi is on. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, thinking it might fix it. No go. Still telling me no internet. 😪
latest traffic detail is showing false info. Everything is 12/31/1969. Come on and fix this anchor weight already.
It's rubbish it just keeps saying no internet connection and will not do anything even when you reset it still the same.
Awesome while it lasted. I found out the hard way. As of the end of March of this year, according to their own website, they are no longer. Goodbye cujo, hello trashcan. Did I miss the notice via email or something?
Awful customer support and app It's a month I cant login to my device and there iso no customer support for this. Wish could upload negative star.
This is excellent, brought this system via QVC about years , it's the best I have ever had.
I have used Cujo for over 2 years. Has worked nearly flawlessly. Love it. My kids don't! LOL
NO longer supported and discontinued as of 03/31/2021 No longer protected you. Throwing it away.
Rubbish, won't set up. Don't buy one and then you won't need the app.
It appears that CujoAI have abandoned this app and it's related hardware.
I love this app Cujo is brilliant and protects everything. Definitely recommend it
Best security product ever. Please start making Cujos again for home consumer use.
it designed for cojo devices only
App Not Working. Useless Device
Will not work on android 9.0
we all got jacked by this company... just when I bought this thing they abandoned it
It does the job.
Learned that CUJO cannot block YouTube. Common, YouTube has been around for ages and this CUJO just can't block it. Called tech and they said CUJO is working on how to block YouTube.
Still far from the mark. App is unfriendly and Best Buy dropped the line which is suspicious.
I like the product, but the app has room for improvement. Hiding and grouping devices does not work for me. It would be useful to be able to navigate back and forth between devices and users by clicking links on the pages for each (ex. Get to a user's device page by clicking a link from the user's page). Also, the device page has a section to view activity, similar to a firewall log, but lacks much functionality. A few suggestions for improvement: o List at least the target Port, maybe even resolve it to a meaningful name (ex. Port 80 => http) o Try to associate the IP to a name, with a DNS lookup (this may result in generic "ec2-instance" type names, but I think it's still more helpful), or, if possible, associate a DNS lookup from the client to the log (don't know if it's possible, but it would be slick) o Maybe have a whois type lookup to show who owns the IP o At the very least, give an option to copy the IP address without having to type it manually to do any of the above lookups manually I've encountered some other minor glitches, but I think I've managed to working around those, so I can't report on them at the moment.
Glad they added the search capability. Would even be better if there's a way to filter by attempts that don't have bad reputations or from same country as my machine.
Its a great security module for my home network. Its really great to be able to see and manage my devices and also assign static IP addresses. A few features I wish it would have is to notify me when a new device has connected, auto assign static IP addresses, remove old devices and allow a temporary connection that will auto delete the device after a timed period. These could be toggles for people who want these features like me. Overall though its a great App!
