Cummins Guidanz
The Guidanz mobile app helps you speed up the repair process and improve customer uptime. Among the features are the following:
• Equipment and device dataplate information
• Prioritized Cummins fault codes and descriptions
• Ability to share any information in the app via email
• Route Parameter Manager diagnosis, repair and update functionality
• Read industry standard J1939 fault codes for all connected devices
• English, Spanish, and French language support –
Cummins certified service providers who subscribe to the Immediate Assessment feature of Guidanz also have access to:
• Prioritized faults and the top three most likely root causes
• Estimated service times
• A history of recently retrieved information, faults, and analysis right on your phone
• The ability to turn assessments into Guidanz Job Orders to track the equipment throughout the service event
To use Guidanz you will need a Cummins INLINE™ datalink adapter. Simply plug either the INLINE 7 or the new INLINE mini wireless adapter into the J1939 connector on the vehicle or equipment, and then connect to your phone or tablet via Bluetooth®. App is trash, constantly needs uninstalled and reinstalled or it constantly crashes, won't pair to devices. App says pairing in process but you will kill your phone battery before it actually happens. Never had issues in the past.

Deleted and reloaded to get it to work on Android phone. Worked fine last time I had used it, so hmm... intermittent crashes... so yeah, buggy at best... has potential to be so much better
This app is crashing while updating calibration file on vehicle.... Even in 8gb ram phone....... That's not fair.... Please give a application update....and rectify the errors please..... Need corrective action of fault code in this app ... App is crashing frequently.....

very informative !
I use this every day and after the first like 6 months of constant bugs. It works for me almost every time. Pulls the info, creates the work order. When employees have to change our passwords at the required times, I do have to uninstall/reinstall the app though. Otherwise it constantly makes me enter my password and create a pin every single time I open it. I miss just using BMS. This Guidanz stuff is a hott mess. Dont roll a product out when it's not ready.
It will not let me create a work order do I have the wrong app?
I have a cummins quickserve limited account so it won't let me link my account to the guidanz so every time I have to use it as a guest
Seems to take a long time to retrieve data. Please make it possible to create work orders from app, not just when unit has active faults. When using an iPad to pull data you have to reconnect to the mini inline through apples Bluetooth settings..... every single time.
Android version closes as soon as you open it. Waste of time
App stops working as soon as the opening screen comes on for the Android version. Very disappointed.
It sometimes works, can't access log files offline, can't clear codes and can't see the engine's ecu inputs and outputs, no pids available. Nothing like the early handhelds. Not worth the money. Just set a match to your equipment cause you will still need to spend the money on Insight to do any real troubleshooting. Big waste of money.
